That was some twist there. Nice job implementing that little trick with the name collection, I used to do that with a couple of my older projects. I liked the character art, it reminded me of patchwork for some weird reason.

Alright I'll admit it, got me, that was cute.

pighead10 2015-08-24 14:57

Not much of a game but the writing was interesting. Excellent ending, took me a while to realise who this mysterious "Samuel" was!

hyoga-3d 2015-08-24 16:22

Good history. But dosen't sound fare to me the real photos in game.

korso 2015-08-24 17:04

The only thing that I was to object were the assets, but it's a Jam entry. Good Music, Art and history -with a twist-.

kingpirux 2015-08-24 17:40

nice twist xD but this is more like a joke than a game. Maybe with more options, something to actually really do, more participation or at least some way that i could end not killing him xD

druhinm 2015-08-25 06:13

Nice

congusbongus 2015-08-25 09:58

This was pretty well made, congratulations! The twist was very clever, I barely missed it!

ironleonem 2015-08-25 11:30

Okay seriously, how'd you do that?

blurryroots 2015-08-25 16:08

Cool ending ;) Enjoyed the story.

teesquared 2015-08-26 11:22

Engaging story. Nice use of transitions and sound effects. Story includes vampires and twist at the end ... check :). Personally, I'd pass on the typing text effect entirely. Maybe a filter on the backgrounds to make them look more hand drawn could work for next time. Good job.

purenickery 2015-08-26 22:12

I'm still so confused how this game knew what my name was at the end. Nice job!

parsia 2015-08-27 07:37

wow, incredible, great concept, good implementation, not much of a game but interesting narrative. well done.

echokain 2015-08-27 17:37

Audio and writing was neat, the twist was great too!

jannesn 2015-08-27 21:01

Totally got me.

quadtree 2015-08-28 04:22

Not bad. Using the player's username was a nice touch.

rougerogue 2015-08-28 13:09

Loved the feel of the game and that plot twist at the end. It was a bit anticlimactic since my laptop decided to have a _000 after my user name but I managed to get over that.

yuigoto 2015-08-28 14:07

Hahaha! Nice! Now we're all monsters! :) I didn't expect that, and it's nice to see a visual novel in here.

It's a bit short, but well written. It would be nice to see some more, branching, even more twists and stuff. :P

Congrats! :)

Great music, nice images, and a wonderful atmosphere. Going in you don't expect much more than a standard "choose your own adventure" style game, but the great ending really sums it up. I was both surprised and laughing at the entire thing. Excellent work and a lot of fun!

rodobodolfo 2015-08-29 16:36

wow haha that ending made the game! The story is intriguing. The text animations could be a lot faster, it's kinda slow. and the copyrighted photo broke the inmersion for me.
Great entry!

dejvo 2015-09-01 11:05

this is not a game. but good try i guess

dregamr 2015-09-01 18:16

XDDD Of course, the monster is me. Very cool.
Have you been all the weekend photographing the village? XD One photograph had watermarks?

mykaelos 2015-09-01 20:37

I enjoyed the writing and the characters. Definitely a twist that I wasn't expecting, regardless of the theme. The text animations and the fade-outs are a bit too slow, but the atmosphere was excellent. Being a potty humor connoisseur myself, I enjoyed the poop joke =) Well done and fantastic ending!

Interesting Story
