What a cute game! Love the art and the writing was great. I ket picking the wrong options (because I'm bad) to see what they would say! The wall jumping has no right to feel so good in a game like this haha great work!
The baby platform to the left is a nice touch.
Fun little game you have here, would've loved it if the chat was dynamic and you implemented some kind of AI for the platforms but for what it is, it's a pretty good game :) well done!
I've been laughing out loud for like ten minutes playing this thing the writing is great and there's so much character i love it
That was cool :) ! My favorite part was the platform asking whether I liked the game, that felt very meta !
All this platforms had a rough day huh? xDD So fun! I lost it with the platform asking "Why the rush?"
Cool game, interesting concept ! But I have other Ludum Dare games to rate :smirk: ^^ Keep coding ^^
Perfect graphics: that's the best dressed pixel I've ever seen. There was no theme song, so I sung my own ditty in my head as I played. No more Mr Sad Platform for me!
Ha, the dialogue is hilarious! The artwork is great as well, and the death states are smooth (I also really liked "Distracted" and "Infected"). It was a tad confusing just diving in and figuring out the wall jumps for myself, though.
Overall, solid job and great creativity in your theme combination!
Who'd have thought of that? It's not a dating platform, but a platform dater! Genius. Love that 4th-wall breakage near the end.
Surprisingly many dating sims here. I like your hand-drawn aesthetic, but the platformer level design really was only so-so. I died a lot on purpose until I found out I can walk away and start again.
Such a clever idea. You made me care of those platforms as soon as I saw I could make them smile! The artwork and the dialogues did it for me. Great, great job. Thanks for this!
Adorable little game. Not sure how I feel about the game asking me whether the game was good or bad as a toll :p
Ooooh I love this. Hilarious concept, the dialogue started well and only got better. Hairy guy is such a weirdo. Also it's always nice to have a complete game which you can play through in such little time and yet experience so much. Finally a developer who understands the great struggle that is testing ALL the games! Also, the gameplay itself was surprisingly smooth, quite unlike the majority of ludum dare platformers.
I found this game very fun to play. I love the whole art style of the game the fact that its black and white is quite nice not needing to look at too many colours also i think the character in the game is pretty cool. I like the whole game play. There just may be a small thing to polish on like small details (for example : On the edge of some blocks the box collider could be smoothened out. since your using unity i would suggest a 2d polygon collider). Well done. This game was great and fun to play.
Really funny game - did it until the end :) and then jump to die lol You should really add some sound effects and a music.
Cute game, I like the art. The premise sold it to me.
Most of what should be said seems to have been said already, and you seem to value hasty comments so I won't stick around too long.
- I would have liked to have the second platform be one you had to depress/offend/make leave, since it was set up to look like you should remove a blockade rather than jump over it, and having that variety might have added a lot of extra depth to the game. - Some checkpoints/acknowledgement of progress would have been nice, rather than starting from the start after every mistake - the lack of music really detracts from the cute mood here. Even a quick recording of you humming a tune would have helped a lot.
