Well, this is certainly a very cool concept! Never I have give that a thought. For me, this is really enjoyable and of course, does become stressful overtime.

For some reason, it reminds me of Papers, Please! Where the requests start to get complex overtime. If you have the initiative to continue, you can actually do go in that direction. Like, one more rule is added each time. The only thing this needs to be really good for me is sound, and probably hotkeys to manage a lot more tasks if you do continue this.

Adding sounds to this is really great if you're listening to the requests coming in by a ton and gives you more stress. As I can't look if the request is good or not since I have to keep processing requests or not.

A very good entry! I recommend others try it out, too.

Great idea

are-sundnes 2017-12-04 14:56

Haha what a great idea! And boy I'm glad I'm not a http server. Or that someone needs to browse through me. Really cool and polished game!

jackisaacs 2017-12-04 14:57

Very cool concept, also very informative about how HTTP works! Love it.

billeclipse 2017-12-04 15:34

Great idea and great game. Hope you continue developing it and release it as a full game someday :D

meatpudding 2017-12-04 15:35

Guys, sorry if the Internet has been slow all day. I'm working as fast as i can...

nage 2017-12-04 15:36

Concept and game are awesome, really like it

wradion 2017-12-04 15:42

Nice one! Very original concept for a game and right in the theme :)

papiertig0r 2017-12-04 15:45

Man, this gets hard very fast xD

eraleis 2017-12-04 15:47

The concept is awesome ! There is a little bit too much click for me though, i would love it with drag and drop for the requests !

goloso-games 2017-12-04 15:53

First time I have fun with a HTTP server :) Great use of the theme, tutorial is very well done (and funny sometimes). Thhe whole game is actually great, I guess you were inspired by Papers, please. I really like the atmosphere. It proves you don't need AAA graphics to make a great game :)

oliverlevay 2017-12-04 16:15

I really like this game! It was a cool concept and very educational. Don't really understand how it fits the theme but it's a cool game non the less. Great job!

r3l0ad1 2017-12-04 16:41

Love the game and the concept, Amazing

ashtrail 2017-12-04 17:16

Very nicely done ! The UI/Graphics, the tutorial and the concept are flawlessly implemented. It's also nice to be able to learn things when playing a game.

However I still have a few remarks : firstly for a game like this an ambience music would be really nice, SFX for feedbacl too (like a validation -tut- and a failure -bip-). Secondly, and this one is quite personal, although there is a challenge the game gets pretty dull after a point, especially since I usually don't like "micro-management" in games and this one is all about it ^^. I guess that's intentional though, which is bound to divide the audience, some people like it, some people won't.

To sum up it's really well made, but not really to my taste and that's fine :).

mathiouza 2017-12-04 18:36

Cool game ! Really nice idea, well executed and user-friendly ! There are some tricky points nontheless : no sounds (I do not speak about musics, but sounds could be cool), you could make the link with the theme clearer, but that's okay :)

So, in conclusion, cool game ! Keep coding ;)

piootrek 2017-12-04 20:44

That's awesome! For me only the tutorial is a little bit too long :)

activdesign 2017-12-04 21:18

nice concept and nice graphics. i'm not sure that enought to understand http server but with more time, maybe :) Love this kind of game, congratulation for this great idea.

binaryspark 2017-12-04 21:34

I absolutely love this game! UI flows very smoothly, and it really reminds me of Papers, Please. Cool concept, very well executed.

lereveur 2017-12-05 06:39

HTML servers are heroes too! Thank you to remain us that fact. :D It was surprisingly fun, and as hard as I guessed when I read the concept. I made some mistakes, I'm affraid I would be a very bad HTML server, but well done, good idea and good game. :)

tvance 2017-12-05 15:19

As others have mentioned, this was surprisingly fun. You took a very dry concept and made a playable game. Good execution.

unlikelynomad 2017-12-06 00:52

It's like Papers, Please but as a soul-less hunk of silicon! Dig the concepts and the mechanics

laylow 2017-12-06 03:45

Sweet game! I'd love to play as other protocols though. Also, maybe as a sort of detective role where you act as the FBI making connections and such.

the-bm 2017-12-06 10:50

HTTP-Server-Simulator-2017.

Awsome concept, the ui is perfect, some background music and it's perfect

xoidberg 2017-12-06 12:59

Love the idea! You really need to read the requests carefully :D Some sound effects and music would be nice, but I understand that this is difficult for this kind of game.

number6406 2017-12-06 21:46

Impressive game. Interface is clean and very attractive ! I think it's a very good way to teach people how servers work :)

cubeeo 2017-12-08 00:38

This was different, so thanks for that. I lost very quickly once the tutorial was over. I guess I accidentally gave out the death star plans, but they seemed to have an old password, but it checks out.

Would you like to see how I fared? :P

Very original idea. There are people in the web industry who could learn from this. My wife suggested having background modem noises.

secretpocketcat 2017-12-12 21:30

I really appreciate the humor and as others have mentioned, it reminds of Papers, Please.

The Vue debugger icon in my browser has lit up, so I assume it's built on that? I've played with it for a bit and it's so good.

safrmo 2017-12-13 22:33

@SecretPocketCat Yep, built with Vue! You can take a look at the source code [here](https://github.com/SaFrMo/ludum-dare-40). Thanks for playing! :)

meanmon13 2017-12-15 16:04

Very novel idea :-) I liked it! A lot to keep track of!

pavel-smejkal 2017-12-16 08:59

What a great idea! I can see it as an awesome teaching tool for kids for example. Really nice :)
