Looks really good :thumbsup_tone1: However had trouble with figuring out the gameplay. I don't know if it became "buggy"... I ended having the menu doubled.

Gfx and sfx does play very nice together

amazing graphics, amazing gameplay, i wish i could be more constructive but this game is simply really good, this will definitely be in the top 10 at least, specially on the gameplay aspect. the commns link give this game great depth, and it reminds me of KSP, and i really liked the post processing effects

This is great. Not sure what else to add. Seemed to nail the old style crt/arcade look you were going for. Controls and handling were smooth as well

javicoder 2021-10-04 07:41

I love the graphic style, it is simple but beautiful. But the best is the idea, very original, very good game!

Really nice, liked that asteroids split sometimes. It's very hard and takes some getting used to the controls before the game really starts going. Solid graphics and the sounds were very fitting. Nice job!

Just wow, very original idea and such great execution and style. Love it! Only negative for me was that the difficulty was a bit high so I did'nt get very far.

This is so cool! Once I figured out how the relay mechanic worked it was a lot of fun just to try and link up as many planets as possible and cover as much area as I could. Definitely appeased the "overlapping circles good" part of my brain. The little lines showing the path your connection took back to earth was also neat. Only complaint: shouldn't the moon be tidally locked? :stuck_out_tongue:

The art style on this is amazing! The gameplay is difficult, but once you get the hang of it, good fun!

Really nice game! I don't understand everything, I could use a little tutorial or something to make the goal more reachable

sethjmoore 2021-10-05 03:50

It took me a couple games to figure out why the ship wasn't responding to any controls, but then I got hooked and played game after game trying to visit all the planets. Never quite got them all, but I'll definitely be back to play this some more. Great game!

Really cool game! It takes a while to learn all of the mechanics, but once it's done it becomes very fun to try to visit all of the solar system. The art style is one of my favorite as well.

I love the little details, like astreoids and other objects blocking out the signal, and when you get stuck with no signal you cannot move. Things like these make it feel so much more dynamic and cool!

picttarge 2021-10-05 23:46

Wow, taking the cool stuff from 1979 Asteroids and then adding so much other stuff to keep track of! Orbits! Fabulous, good fun and very tricky!

schuster 2021-10-06 00:42

Great game! Adding things like planets and comm relays to an asteroids like game really makes it excel.

mathiouza 2021-10-06 02:58

Really neat graphics!

The game is really fun but I did not really manage to see how it could be possible to go really far in the solar system though. I would have like to have a way to zoom in too. But that's minor issues. The game is really cool!

Great work!

myles-doupe 2021-10-06 03:39

Great game. Tons of style. But it is extremely difficult. I couldn't get any more than halfway through it. I am unsure if I'm supposed to be just carpeting the solar system with relays, or if I should be taking out enemies first. Neither seemed to work for me.

scarounet 2021-10-06 07:04

Great game, the graphics are really cool. It took me a few try to understand what was going on, and the game is quite challenging but it's a nice experience. Some music would have been great.

caudatecoder 2021-10-07 16:21

Really cool idea and pretty good execution! I love the art-style and sound-effects. It was a little too hard for me to finish. I still had plenty of fun with it!

I played it and recorded it during my stream. Unfortunately I was using new software and didn’t check if everything was ok so it recorded like 2/3 of my screen  I saved recordings of games where you could still understand what’s going on. And your's is on the list. I hope it will still be helpful to see how first-time player interacts with your game  And I don't know why I pronounced Pet as Pete in your nickname, I'm sorry  https://youtu.be/KdS9PsTVR1o Your game starts at 1:16:16

I finally won! MissionControl.jpg

npr0nn 2021-10-08 21:35

I loved the shaders use makes the feel great and polished, also the concept of unstable connection is genius, I just had some trouble because of how difficult it is, but overall amazing

jackaljk 2021-10-10 15:37

This looks great but I'm still not sure how the game really works lol :P I get that you're supposed to visit the planets in the dashed rectangle but I do not have a coherent understand of anything else. Like, when and why does my ship become yellow sometimes? What are the relays for? Why am I sometimes connected to other planets then lose that connection? Anyway it's fun, nice one!

chingle 2021-10-11 02:27

Graphics and sounds are great! The idea is neat too but I had trouble understanding the gameplay at the start. Overall great game!

zimny11 2021-10-13 08:32

The art style is really interesting, controls feels good, and the sounds are well-made too. The screen effect are a nice addition to the whole game feeling. Good job!

lcstark 2021-10-21 14:49

Really impresive game for a compo entry! It looks amazing, and the gameplay is great. It might be a bit too difficult, though I'll probably try to beat it a couple more times after the voting is done. It might be a good idea to add varying difficulty levels, with the easier one having the Earth station cover the entire 360 degrees around the planet. I figured out I can set up my own relay network around the Earth, but that just feels like a chore detracting me from the fun gameplay. I liked the addition of randomly appearing satellites, though, they helped a bit a couple of times.
