I haven't downloaded the game, but it looks really cool! I want to go get out a calculator and play this one. XD

Good work, and I completely understand what you meant by that you only had a few hours to work but wanted to submit something. I will feel the same way, when I upload my game here.

love it, great use of theme

Turbo Pascal FTW!

Reminds me a lot of River Raid! I got 697.

Very funny how you fit into the theme by actually making a game for an "ancient" OS xD

khaos_fang 2016-08-30 09:11

Fit the theme in a..interesting way.Much more difficult than it appears to be.

excellent use of the theme, good job. I giggled from the concept of this. The gameplay is pretty simple but it finished what it strived to do so good job on that. Also the game runs well on windows 10 so good to know that the max os isnt xp.

what a good idea :D I *did* start programming with a TI-89 myself

928! \o/
Pretty clean code for a quick game jam DOS game, congrats :)

jimbly 2016-08-30 21:55

dos: Heh, it's Pascal, it's a language made to look like clean psuedo-code! =) Also, nice score!

This is definitely the kind of game I'd have kept on my graphing calculator back in the day.

I'm also amazed to find out I'm not the only person who made something requiring Dosbox!

Wow, amazing idea to make a game for DOS.

Game is simple but fun! It is really hard to stay alive :)

Very well done. So simple yet so amazingly awesome. Some of the parts it seemed like the map scrolled faster than I could move but maybe that's just me hitting the wall and blaming it on the game. I'm a big fan of games being made on ancient technology.

Cool little game, badly, I did not understand the link with the theme :/

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
So cool, pretty and nice!
Very good job, dude!

One of the best games of LD#36.

I remember playing something similar on TI-83 where you're driving through a tunnel. I loved playing graphing calculator games. I like this game as well. I think there is potential to use automatic repeat key presses as an advanced technique for difficult turns.

Very nostalgic, great job! Not much more to say since it's such a simple game.
