Congrats on completing and submitting! The music was offsetting and I didn't try longer to wait for the power up to change once my jump height was not enough. I was lacking an indicator of how long I had until that would happen.
Okay my bad I didn't see I had to wait for a minute x) A minute is long you now, without doing anything x) You might have wanted to add a progressbar or something, or just make the change sooner.
I hope you had a great time participating to the jam!

@ilokimo That's fine. They're my actual first few songs I've made. Sorry they're all offsetting and bad. Thanks for playing though! :)
@mathiouza A minute is long, I know ahah. I'm sorry about that XD. Thanks for playing. :)
Thank you both for the feedback :D It is greatly appreciated!

Nice idea. I think it's too long to wait for one minute. Pressing a button or trigger some conditions may have better experience. Keep up with good work!
I like the concept of time limits power ups, but one minute breaks the pace. Maybe allow me to choose, if I wait longer i get a better gear or power up, or I can take a short solution that will help me only once.

@cirno Secretly, it was a random idea that I thought of on the top of my head hahah. I'll keep that in mind though ("Pressing a button or trigger some conditions") :)
@binaryprinciple Okay. I will take your feedback and make sure I'll incorporate it in later versions. :)
Thank you both for the feedback. I greatly appreciate it! :D
Really cool concept!
I didn't like the music at all, very off-putting. I didn't understood I had to wait a minute for changes to occur.

@scalphamission Thanks!
@thegreenworm Yeah. This was my first music. I didn't know what to do. Also, it says that everything changes every minute.
Thanks guys! Appreciate it.
Well well well. Interesting gameplay and strange mood. I really like the "ugly" background track which whispers to me the invisible side of your project - like a secret. Sure! It fits with the theme - this is totally unstable. The main aesthetic and visuals remind me another famous game - Thomas Was Alone. The controls work well as expected and I had fun playing. A good entry - you deserve more ratings ++
I can echo what a lot of people here are saying about a quicker swap and having a visual timer. In terms of concept, I think this could be really cool if you quickened the pace of the game a lot. It would really add to the chaos and how hectic everything feels, jumping from one state to the next and not knowing what's going to happen. If you do go this way though, make sure it's still *clear*! Show the next swap or whatever will happen. Great work overall though!

@geckoo1337 Thanks for the review! I didn't expect this at all, so thanks. I appreciate it!
@randomerz Yeah. I understand. Should have made a timer or something.
Thanks! :D

Pretty basic game, like others were saying the wait time is unclear, and having to wait for so long to progress is a bit frustrating. Good job submitting to the compo though, hopefully you learned something that you can apply next time!
Cool game! I like the concept and the first shift was really fun and surprising. I would recommend speeding the shifts up to like 10 seconds and adding a progress bar, as a minute is a long time to wait. I like the concept a lot and think it is well executed. Good job!
Cool idea.
The gameover sound is nice, as is the title - all the music is a little short for looping tracks and doesn't loop quite seamlessly (to avoid popping like the win screen you can fade out/in with audacity). In addition to feedback for when the swap is happening and speeding it up greatly - I would like to see specific obstacles fit for the abilities you get instead of a range. This would make it so that you can seek out and take that path instead of waiting for the right thing as the game progresses.
The ground changing as well of the character helps with the unstable theme but if moving at the wrong time then you can feel cheated. As a quick fix perhaps more static black paths you can rest on as refuge would solve that. Combine that with a visual timer for when the swapping happens and control/cause of death is in the players hands.
I installed mmf2 to play with with it and speeding it up does help - about 15 sec seems fine. Because of the wait time, I think your score won't reflect the chaos/unstability that you have achieved in this project so don't be discouraged.

@lychee Yeah. It's very basic and minimalistic in terms of length and graphics. And yeah, a lot of people have comments about the minute wait time. I definitely have learned something! :D
@chairshot-games Thank you! I appreciate the comment :D I apologise for the minute wait.
@crefossus Thanks for the long feedback. I appreciate it!
Thank you all! :)
