The combination of graphic styles was really effective. I also really loved the spring type jumping, which felt very satisfying when playing.

That is a candidate for weirdest double jump ever. It took me a bit to figure it out, but I got there in the end. Really nice use of the photographs and audio, I think this is aesthetically excellent. The jumping puzzles are pretty basic, but they get the job done.
There is some tearing in the center of the photos, particularly on the grass screens.
Amazing.
Very nice aesthetic. Short and sweet :)
I love the graphics. Combined with the sound design, it's quite a relaxing game. And BEST double jump ever !
Man I really loved this! the art, music mood is amazing and that ending was really sweet. this I a winning candidate
Very unique and simple game, good job.
Masterpiece!!! Thanks for that game
Cute game. I like that you used photos. The story was nice and the sound complimented it. You could improve the gameplay however. It was too simple in my opinion. And for your next game, try to make the hitboxes from the spikes, or anything that can hurt you for that matter, smaller than the actual object. It felt sometimes unfair when I died, like I didn't hit the spikes but still had to restart. Still, I enjoyed your game!
This was so cute! Simple yet so interesting, very good job!
I really loved this. Double jumping mechanic was great, loved the use of photography, the sound. The jumping puzzles were simple and effective. I *loved* the ending and was glad the game was short enough for me to see it. Really a beautiful, simple little game with a ton of heart and feeling. I agree it would be nice to fix the image seams in the late screens, other than that I don't see much to improve.
I had a bug that happened on like the third or fourth grass image seam. The game froze on me as I was jumping around and I couldn't go any further. I must have hit just the right spot and crashed it. That's my biggest criticism. Other than that, I love the art, and the puzzles were fun. That double jump mechanic was kind of hard to figure out, but other than that, very intuitive and overall good feelings.
Cute game. But the gameplay, the controls and the collisions can be improved. I can not finish the game because there was a passage with a double jump to do, but I definitly do not understand how to perform it decently. At the beggining of the game, I expected to see an animation when the led walk, that could be cute x) Good plateformer game nonetheless :)
This is the most adorable game I have played and probably my favorite one overall so far!
The game is great and the graphics and audio really complement each other. The only things that I think need some work are the controls.
Those photographs are fantastic! First time I've played a Ludum Dare game that has used photos and I'm impressed, awesome job!
Generally not a fan of platformers but the wooden cat certainly added something different, an interesting take on double jump although I could cheat a few levels by spamming space and launching over most things. Anyway.. great job! Thoroughly enjoyed it :grinning:
The graphics are amazing!, the mechanics are simple but they deliver the story so overall great job.
I really liked that, especially the use of photos and models for the graphics, you really put a lot of thought into this. It's a shame that some of the later backgrounds had noticeable seams in them. The platforming was pretty good, although I think there is too much of a delay on the double jump, not to mention having the jump button also stop you from moving does kill the momentum, although I don't think it had much of a noticeable effect. The game does have a lot of charm to it, and it would be nice to see this expanded in some way. Great work!
