This game has a big big big big bigbigbigbgigbibgibgibgibgigb potential ! And the only level you made shos the fun of what your game can be ^^ I played five time to this level, I loved the music, I really enjoyed the concept, I really liked the art. I just think you can upgrades things like add texts when we do a correct thing, like "PERFECT !", "Meh ..." and these kinds of stuff. Also maybe make the fact that we have a time to begin our action clearer, I did not understand (because I do not saw it) that I have to clic on a button when "GO !" appears.
Despite that, the game is really well made ! Congrats ! And keep coding :)
Graphics look really good but it takes some time to get used to mechanics. Sweet mobile game :)

I like it. As the first comment said, it took a while for me to realise that you had to click the button when it said 'Go', and it did feel like the time you were allowed to start clicking felt a bit too short - I often missed attacks. However, the mechanics are really cool - I like how you can charge up your attacks or just do a small attack. And I loved the sound effects, they were great ;D
Expand it to a full mobile game guys ! :D I love the concept and the art style is really really great.

Oh this buttons :)) it's awesome! But the dinosaur looks to angry for the main character imo. Anyway, it looks pretty nice for the 3 days games.

The game is soooo beautiful and polished! The music is awesome too!
This could become a really neat game, with more enemy and progression! But that first battle is really fun!
The game may lack of some music feedback, like someting to let us now that the next beat is coming! I was often clicking the buttons and hoping to be in rhythm.
But overall, awesome entry and concept!
It is a fun game. And the idea is very cool when combining fighting to rythm Mind to check our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/daxua
Wow, the artistic direction in this title is so awesome! I love the characters, the music and the overall style! I hope to see more of it! We send you a fish <3

Well polished and fun to play. To bad there is only one fight. It is hard to see when you can click again once you miss one attack.
Good game overall but too short :/.

This game is like a tiny cupcake - it's cute, tasty, oozing with flavor, but small.
Good stuff
What I liked the most about Pipionem was the art, sound, and the feel. Reminded me of how I used to play turn-based final fantasy with my toys.
Discovering what the different moves did was fun. I like how well the buttons are arranged, UI is very well designed, especially for mobile.
All of the aspects that I liked (art, sound, feel) are well done, so I probably can't give any suggestions there.
Some bad parts
* Length - The game is short (but still sweet) * User Experience - The game doesn't have any instant feedback to let me know when I'm doing well or not * Tutorial - Went though the tutorial twice, but somehow it didn't occur to me that I had to take the cooldown and each beat into account. Maybe it's obvious for you, but most people are ignorant like me and need everything served on a golden platter. You actually don't need a complicated tutorial to get those ideas through, check out the instant feedback suggestion below, which fixes this problem.
Suggestions
* Sounds - Keep them, they add a lot to the feel * Instant feedback - Action games (rythm-based ones especially) often give instant feedback to the player to let them know if they're doing well. For example, guitar hero hero has increasingly intense animations when you land the keys right. When you miss them, it ruins the song and some versions even tell you how badly you did. So the changes I would make with your game would be: highlight the button when pressed (and not on cooldown); when I land the click on one of those lines add some colorful effect (like particles or whatever fits with your vision); make the tiny lines wider and bigger (no need to change the collisions), so I can more easily see them * Release it - This game has potential to be great with casual players, especially kids. I say, polish it, add more levels, add some juice and publish it!
Great experience, keep up the good work!
This game has a loooot of potential. Love the art style. :)
Really good game actually, and fits the theme perfectly! I hope you guys continue to work on it and make it a full game :)
Love the graphics and the music! Super fun and well designed. Could definitely see this as a full game!

The gameplay is pretty good but the music, sounds and the art really make the game. Really liked the cute aesthetic and the sounds were great :D
I did some trouble getting used to the mechanics when I started playing.
Would love to see more of this with more levels and cute enemies!
Really great entry, good job guys!

The presentation on this was awesome! I think the tutorial screen could have been a little more clear on what EXACTLY to do, as the controls are really unique, but I managed to figure it out after a while. I can't hold a beat for my life, so this was tough for me, but I really enjoyed the unique mechanics and the art/music. Great work!

Nice game, it took mi little while to find out when I can start with attacks - would be good to have it explained in tutorial. However in overall it was funn and in the end (after 2 defeats) I finnally defeated that evil chicken lord! Muhahaaa >:D

It has lots of potential. The mechanics are interesting and the game feel is amazing!
However, it was a bit hard learn how to play, I had to read the comments to get it. I also agree with @Nikaoto that it needs some instant feedback, for example the buttons pumping with the rythm you need to push them (the game would be much easier to understand) or some beats when you hit the button correctly.
Anyways, it is a pretty solid entry, funny, with cute art and catchy audio, and I would LOVE to see a full game made of this!
Hey guys, I'm the music composer of the game - thanks for the nice feedback!
As @Mathiouza first commented, there are many things that could be polished further. The most important thing would probably be adding more indicators of when you should start the action (which is at the beginning of each bar - every 4 beats).
@Nikaoto about the instant feedback: the animation and the music change when you press the buttons correctly (in the music the drums follow the same rhythm you played) but I agree we are missing some instant feedback while pressing the buttons in rhythm. Some extra animations and sounds there would help a lot, I believe!
And yes @Kirill Nepomnyaschiy @Noxbuds @AnaGF @Sanguis @morrilet , we would need a more detailed tutorial!
Thanks to all! I keep checking out some of your games :)
Oh noo this was over to fast. I had a lot of fun. Playerd 3 times. The music was very catchy and the graphics are beautiful. I would play it again, with more enemies and more music. Great work!!!
I love the idea! But as was said earlier, it took me a while to learn how to play and I suspect the lack of visual feedback is to blame. I was also a bit perplexed as to when I can and when can't start the attacks. I think that could have been handled better. But the music is gorgeous as well as the art and I believe you guys are perfectly capable to potnetially fix the few feedback problems! Good job, great idea!
Hey good job. Loved the music and aesthetics of the game. The clicking in time was a little weird, as it turned more into clicking when the meter reached each line as opposed to clicking in time with the game. The tutorial could be a little more in depth, but I understand there's not much to know about the game aha. Overall clean and fun
