Once I figured out how to get it going, my first order of business was to dump a bunch of garbage into the ocean. That's how you recycle... right? Haha I can definitely see the concept here and how it ties into the theme. It's unfortunate that you weren't able to finish because I definitely love the idea and it seems like it's almost there in terms of gameplay :) I could see a post LD version of this being very successful. I also love Factorio, so I'm partial to that. Great job!!

Not a fans of this genre, but you did a great job! Are the maps randomly generated?

Too bad this isn't finished to a more playable state, it looks great!

The map terrain is randomly generated, yes.

Looks great, but I was lost without any explications ^^' The concept is really nice and you tried to make a kind of game really too little done in LD. You say you were too ambitious, but please, for the next Ludum Dare, do not move back when remembering this episode. I really want to see more of this kind of game in this competition !

So yes, the game is not finish, you already know that, but the idea is great though, and what you made is really honorable ! (randomly generated terrain ! That is not nothing !)

So keep coding :)

i love those tiles, really really good

a bit hard control-wise, might be good to have keyboard xshortcuts

Didn't quite get the feel for what I was supposed to do, I ended up throwing a hopper underneath the garbage and slowly built up my currency. It seems like there's a lot of possible connections between the devices but I never quite figured out how to make them happen. Really enjoyed the procedural terrain.

Nice idea, it has all the potential of becoming a full game.

I must admit, I was completely befuddled as to how to work this thing, but I did manage to dump garbage into the ocean successfully which is all I really want out of a garbage tycoon game!

Of the things I could actually critique would be, in the scroll-list of things, it was initially very unclear just how far it went (would be nice to have some clarity on if you could actually scroll further down or not, but I suppose as the whole thing is quite incomplete, you're already aware it all needs work)

I'd love to see you develop this further later on, interesting to see where it could go once its more complete!

Great concept! I struggled with figuring out the wires, transistors and what the belts did. Tooltips would help a lot. I really hope to see a post-compo version.

I love those factorio type games and fits the theme well. Pretty difficult to pull off in that short time. Well done.
