Congrats on submitting! I also only starting working on my game this morning, so I feel your pain haha. This was a fun game, the graphics are nice and simple, but are quite relaxing. Any criticisms I'd have, you already mentioned yourself in the description. I do like the idea of hex grid physics tetris though, I'd be interested to see what this looks like if the idea is taken further?

Nice! I like how you managed to put a spin on the usual block balancing game :). Harder than you'd think.

It was really fun to play! I like the music and the color palette you chose. Nice compo game!

Excellent work for 24 hours! I really like the choice of shapes, and the nested balancing act is really cool. Simple to get and feels great to play.

Once the balance is even a little bit off it really starts going, very unstable! Not too much replayability but for a day of effort that's already pretty impressive. Good job.

@reccy The feeling is mutual ha ha.
@listonos Yes, there is definitely some work to do on replayability. I'd also like to expand the concept to ensure a player can do some kind of combos to consume the pieces and keep the platform from being full. Probably some post-ldjam thing to do :)

Nice game for being made in 24 hours, well done! I like the clean stylish graphics. When stacking carefully I've gotten to 800 points. It fits well with the theme too.
Fun game, interesting concept and has potential! This would be fun if somehow the pieces disappear or break, or after filled one area with enough points or pieces, you get new area-box to fill. I were missing the option to slow piece fall speed by pressing i.g. the up key. This concept would work on mobile devices too. All things fit together well here (except the pieces bounciness and difficulty to balance things). Good game!

This was a bunch of fun! It's great when it starts to tip and you know there's nothing you can do, so you start slamming pieces down for the points.
Wow. This was fawking great. Really love the concept - The design fits perfectly and the simplicity is amazing. Really great job.
Max Score: 860 :O
A fun take on the stacking blocking genre. I was able to get a score of 2851!
The graphics had a nice, readable look to them and subtly making each shape lighter/darker based on their weight was a neat idea (at least I think that was the case). The music was well suited to this kind of puzzle-esque gameplay as well.
The optimal strategy that I found was to play it very safe in the beginning, trying to optimally spread out the pieces to balance the board. Once there's a good foundation, you can quickly drop the pieces anywhere (adjusting left/right as needed) as each piece affects the total balance less.
I think adding more piece variety would help with the replay value as well as some sound effects for losing to add some pop to the game. Maybe adding some pieces with modifiers (super dense little pieces, explosive pieces that remove shapes from the game, etc).

Nice work for 24 hours!! Fun game!
Big fan of the physics! Handles well.

A simple game with a prophetic title! I tried some different strategies like throwing the blocks at opposite sides of the screen without worrying about whether they would align. These strategies did not work. But the gameplay felt so smooth that it was still fun to try.

Very fun and original! The physics felt right, and it's right on theme!
595 points. I find this really difficult ^^'
The game though felt really really polished! Especially for 24 hours! I loved the music, the art, the concept, everything!
That is a really really solid entry! Great job!

Had fun! I think I came up up a fairly reliable-ish strategy. I like the block shapes and how they slot in. However given the fact that they are in full physics mode after they hit the ground, you can stack them from the center with a bit of horizontal velocity so they get tossed to the side. If you alternate this, you get a sort of sand hourglass effect where it stays reasonably balanced. Anyway nice job, solid game!

@aeveis Wow, great score lol. Your strategy is probably the best so far. I'll have to find ways to twist the mechanics in some post-jam version to improve the replayability.
Managed to get a score of 3312. Anyway, great job making this game. Seeing the screen begin to tumble was a fun little surprise on my first play. ^^'
Even though you've made it in only 24 hours it looks pretty polished, and I really liked the weird shapes - it stands out compared to similar games based on tetrominos. The score falling with the rest of the game area was a nice touch. The only think left for me to nitpick is that I think the game should track the high score (I think mine was 1.5k points, but I don't remember now).
This was really fun! You took a simple idea and you executed it well. The music is good too.
Nice game! Simple but unique idea and well done. It did feel a bit like the better strategy was doing nothing or just nudging the pieces a little left or right and letting them all pile up, but overall a lot of fun and very good fit for the theme!

When I started playing this, I hadn't seen any of the screen shots, and when the platform started tipping, I was like WOAH, so that's what this game is! I love the feeling of dread when it's tipping despite throwing all your pieces at the other side! I think the shapes of the pieces is clever, so they all fit in the platform or each other (until it turns into a giant heap). Would be cool to have a next-up feature to show upcoming shapes.
