Simple gameplay and very easy to pick up! It does get a little repetitive however after a while, but surviving until that point is quite challenging. The concept definitely has potential for e.g. a rogue-like to upgrade certain metrics over the course of games.

I love the graphics!

I kept doing a 360 panicking looking for a charging port

zarkonnen 2017-08-01 13:57

I won, eventually! I did find it weirdly hard to visually distinguish between areas that were passable and areas that were not.

This was surprisingly fun and difficult once I got into it. The graphics were nice too.

Simple and enjoyable ^^

@zarkonnen at the beginning the roofs used the same exact skin of the road so I made another rooftop, probably I should have also changed it's color.

Good job, didn't play a top down that looks like gta 1 for a long time :D

Runs smoothly, the movement of the player is great. Difficult to spot energy charging places, the colors of builiding and roads are too similar. The timer and the power leaking are almost the same mechanic but the power one is more difficult. I enjoyed, good work.

Fun game, nice gameplay and graphics.

Was so close to finish in first try, but on the last package I took a wrong turn and missed the charging spot, frustrating but fun and I had to try again.

A little sad that there wasn't any music or a few sound effects but other than that, nice work.

It's simple, but in a good way. I like it that there's not much buttons involved, everything happens by itself. Also, it's hard to miss the stuff you have to go over, but it doesn't look like everything just teleports around like it so often happen in games. Also it's cool that you remember the layout of the city (?) while you move around and on a second or third box you already know (or half-guess) the optimal routes to chargers and possible box locations. It was quite hard for me though. Quite fun overall, nice job.

Very nice basic mechanics. Would of liked some indicator of progression or something to keep me going. Basic SFX would of make a big difference to. Runs very smoothly. Great work.

I really liked your game, it was easy to get into it and I had much fun! It wasn't as easy as it looked at all, looking after the timer AND the battery made it very challenging!

mathiouza 2017-08-08 20:28

Good entry ! Art is nice but it lacks sounds :/ An hectic and stressful music would work nicely here x) The game is challenging (maybe you should make the difficulty crescent) and the idea is quite good :) Congrats :)

yuigoto 2017-08-09 06:06

The take on the theme is quite nice and the game's concept is really good too, with some polish here and there, it has a lot of potential! :) And the challenge is pretty nice too!

The controls felt great and responsive, though initially I thought that the character moved in a "tank-like" way (like in the old survival-horror type games), but were quite easy to get.

I'm missing the sounds, though, and that kinda breaks the mood completely. Even if the game's nice and good to play, without sound feels strange. :P

Good work, keep making! ;) Good Luck!

Dude, ever heard about powerbank? It's pretty nice game. Sometimes it's hard to find charging point (like IRL I guess). Some sound would be nice.

rubyleehs 2017-08-11 15:20

Got really repetitive really fast....and why am I bring those boxes around. and why is my phone battery draining while I'm carrying the boxes? Like...am I using my phone while carrying the boxes?

Man. That's dangerous. There should be a "Do Not Try This At Home" warning.

garethjenkins 2017-08-18 22:05

I enjoyed the movement and moving around. Wasn't clear which things were collidable though.
