The game was fun and I liked the mood of the game, however, it did not seem to solidly follow the theme.
The music really fits with all the "tron" style and I love that. I wish there were better sounds for when you kill an enemy ship or you get hit. Anyway, I had fun playing it ^^, nice game!
First of all the soundtrack was fitting perfect (Why cant I give you points in the sound category). Also I liked the hidden powerups in the corners. Only problem it gets repetitive maybe you could add more events, and mybe change the wall texture to a rocky texture I think this would fit better, but overal a nice game (really liked the sound)
Cool game ^^ The music fits well with this space explorer ( kinda x) ) but I think it is a little too easy ^^ A text to say what is our goal could be appreciable too ^^
Overall cool game :) Keep coding :)
A nice start.
You should add something about 'running out of space' theme. like expandable obstacles or at least not erase destroyed enemies.
Also minor issue i spotted -> enemies shoot from the outside of the visible screen.
I think the game is a solid foundation and could get a lot better with a bit more time invested into it. I think the camera should follow your mouse so that you can spot enemies that are further ahead and they don't have an unfair advantage.
Nice entry. Controls were smooth. Graphics and audio are good. The ship is a bit fast, it added a bit more difficulty to the game. The sounds when killing an enemy could be something different but it's nothing too important. The game doesn't quite seem to follow the theme but it's okay. I had fun playing it.
Overall it's a nice time killer. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback!
You can't rate audio, because it isn't my work, I used free assets created by [Kenny](https://kenney.nl/assets/digital-audio) and [Juhani Junkala](https://opengameart.org/content/5-chiptunes-action) as mentioned on credits page. It's quite funny, because I found this music like 10 minutes before submiting :D
As for the theme, the idea was to have rooms smaler and smaler so you have less space to fight, but my algorithm isn't ideal and it isn't too visible :<
@edgelord I just uploaded Linux build, I couldn't do it earlier because I forgot to install build tools to Unity :D
@timbals It is a great idea and easy to implement! Why I didn't think about it earlier?
I really enjoy the movement in this game. I couldn't tell if the spinning electric ball was a boss or not though so it just ate my health until I died. Good game overall though.
saw your post about the generation and I had to check this out! The map looked fiiine af. first game on ld I've seen to use a procedurally generated map and you nailed it! could it be possible to share your generation script on github or etc? I would love to take a look :)
okay about the game.. I know the game is about the map but more enemy spawns wouldn't hurt. movement worked all fine. Not really theme related but should it? solid entry tho, good job!
@tulipekoni Thanks! Unity project is on the github [here](https://github.com/Caedo/LD42). Scripts are under Assets/_Scripts/Maze Generation folder :)
A good game idea, the music should be improved. The graphics are good. Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)
Damn i like this game! The mood is incredible and the Music is magnificent! The only thing in my opinion is that you should have more hp. Really relaxing game! Can play this all day!
A minimap for people like me, who doewsn't remember where they went, would be nice. Cool graphics and procgen. Intresting star behaviour? Congrats on 20 btw.
This game was not what I was expecting, in a good way! Enjoyed the exploration. Thanks for sharing your game with my stream awhile back. Your game was played around 1:20 into this vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297885983
