Serial Cleaner is such a funny title, lol
lol I started playing this, and then once I figured out I needed to scrub off the desk, and after scrubbing the spot for a WHILE I was like, have you SEEN my desk, I don't do that in real life, I am totally not doing it here. So I drank some coffees, ran around, and vacuumed up... the carpet? I dunno. I appreciate this game! My little pill-shaped janitor needed a break, though. Nice work :D
@kristinamay This was supposed to be my venting game about the entire field after 3 years of working in it, but time was not on my side, so most of the actual content will be in some future update or an entirely different game. Good to hear at least someone figured out the vending machine xD
Hey, I love the way you used the unity basic object to make your idea come true! It's funny, especially for those who work with Unity. Definitely humor.
I like the banner

A calming game and I'm glad there was no timer as I didn't feel rushed. Interactions with different items could be made clearer (I didn't know if I was done wiping or found a fingerprint) but given the relatively simple controls it was intuitive enough to do most tasks. Love the pun in the title serial cleaner as well :)
Nice mini games and great interpretation of the theme.
Interesting interpretation of the Theme. The desk scrubbing was hell!
The cover image looks awesome! I really like the game’s concept, but the execution could use a bit more polish — the controls felt a bit broken :( I would’ve played longer if moving around wasn’t so frustrating. That said, the wiping mechanic feels great, and the gameplay itself is fun. Overall, it’s a solid idea that just needs some refinement. Keep it up!
Tonight's the night. Wiping mini-game has a veeeery bad feedback on what's going on, some kind of timer/progress bar or a transparent rag would do the trick. Fun take on the theme tho.
The little animation and sound when you "unclog" the vacuum made me chuckle lol
5 vacuums/5
Any chance for an offline version? The online one is very laggy for me :(
love this game
I like the concept of the game, but the controls were a little odd and the camera clipping into the walls/ceiling was quite jarring. A cool prototype, but could do with a lot of polish
I had quite a few issues with the web build on itch.io (camera clipping, UI not selectable) but that might be because I was running firefox. I think the idea has promise but some bits felt quite under cooked, which is totally fair for a single developer.
I think it would have been nice to have the mopping and vacuuming be limited to specific spots, with solid visual cues rather than the whole floor.
I could not figure out how I was supposed to mop underneath the tables? If that was what I was supposed to do. So I ended up with c rank.
The concept of this game is so interesting! Haha, I like it.
Cool game idea, I love the title. I also found the description you put very funny, I've been there..
My mom did this game
An oddly specific game description, hahaha! I didn't even realize windows were also on the cleaning list until I happened to accidentally interact with one. A very unique and interesting game, I like it!
I tried to clean the table of dirt, rubbed it, got angry that I couldn't do it, I thought I needed some funds. It turned out that my monitor was just dirty. The developer likes it.
Cleaning my actual house: nope
Playing the game about cleaning: yes please
neat game. The controls felt a little funky not sure if that was intentional or not, but it added to the experience. The minigame approach was nice, good job
Good game, but I couldn't finish it. I cleaned all the desks (took some time 😁), then walked around with the mop and with the vacuum, but I couldn't figure out what to do with them.
The desk cleaning mini-game would be okay once, but doing it so many times is kinda repetitive.
I think for this kind of game visuals are very important because they're meant to provide feedback to the player and make cleaning satisfying.
Great idea, I really like your banner)
Capsule man on a clean up
Interesting take on the theme. I think the wiping mechanic works particularly well, and the windows were a bit funny because I kept trying to clean a fingerprint and it didn't register - because it was on my own monitor, duh... It's also funny how people (not me!) hate cleaning, but they will play a game like that. 😅
Minor problems: there are some camera-related ones and sometimes the character gets stuck, and controls don't really help there.
However, I did spend unusual amount of time on cleaning my own monitor (because of windows in game), so there was some real impact on my quality of life there. 👍
Overall it was nice, but still a little laggy. Good job!
Cool game!
I think it would be nice with some tracking on what you've done, so maybe that the desks could change color when done and some UI 8/10 desk clean. Also I thought it was a little bit hard to steer the character. I think it might have been good to have S for example always moving the character towards the camera even if you rotate the camera.
That said well done!
Original title xD
i liked the idea! i had a bit of troubles swiping the desks left/right, but after swiping by top/bottom it worked, nice job!
The controls aren't comfortable, but the idea itself is cool. I love games that are aimed at creating and getting things done.
was pretty funny to wash desks like the squeak on the tables lol
the movement is a bit weird in some cases, but running around with the vacuum was fun. i love the squeaky table noise
Nice game!
Dirt under dirt, this is literally my nightmare haha. Very fun game!
It was a little hard to know with what player can interact at first, but after some try and error, I think I got it figure out. Cleaning desks could be a bit faster, since it takes a while moving mouse around to clean them. Windows cleaning was a fun surprise. And, I still didn't find a way to get rid of trash bags... Anyway. Well done!
It's a fun game. I'm hooked. I especially liked the floor-washing mechanic.
The client gave me an F, but its ok. I drank like 50 cups of their coffee so we are even!😈
Hey. There's a bit of feedback here.
First of all - you might to give more feedback for a player on every action. Change the color on the washed floor, camerashake when you bump something, etc.
You can add sound for a feedback too. If it was not created by you - just opt out in this category, but overall game feeling will be batter.
Camera and control a little bit annoying. You need to make it more responsive.
Overall its a great submition and I like it!
A little advice for the future - try to create a game using the Unreal Engine. It's a great practice. For example, I try to try something new for myself every jam. It can be an engine, a genre, a control, anything!
And, of course, thanks for the idea to make the game not as similar as all the other games on Unreal Engine! I trying to add Lo-Fi mode. I hope you will enjoy =)

Moving was difficult for me at the moment (the controls are slightly awkward and I'm dealing with a hand injury), but I think I can see what you were going for. I'll probably try again in a few days but there seems to be a good amount of effort if the game over screen is to be believed. You really took the theme to its maximal conclusion. Good effort!
Quite a fun concept! I like how you considered all kinds of places to clean in the room. Sometimes it's a bit unclear why the dirt on the desk isn't cleaned since the fianl dirt is not obvious.
Love the idea, but I was so lost most of the time haha Some feedback for the player for what's happening is def instrumental
Great idea, sorry, but I think the sound design is a bit weak. Sometimes the random vacuum cleaner sounds creep me out, haha. I also like the game's name; it's a funny play on words.
I didn't have any sounds or music while playing, and to be honest, the gameplay itself was boring, but perhaps the music could have really enhanced the game itself.
