Nice, simple, appealing core concept, and everything controlled well! Was fun dodging objects and shooting towers. I do have to say, it feels like it's missing some challenge and could use at least a couple more mechanics--like, for example, a player health bar that you have to manage, or speed boosters you need to hit to stay ahead of the red wave. I made it to -2000 and it didn't seem to be getting any harder, and felt like I could have gone on for quite awhile, but I wasn't feeling challenged and the game didn't seem to be getting noticeably more difficult.
Definitely have something here though, add a few more things and I could see this being super fun to play. Nice work!

Quite fun to play. I would like the difficulty to increase over depth
Cute little game! I think it is not punishing enough - I felt like I could stay in the red for way too long / take too many hits before dying. Like the only reason I did die eventually is by intentionally going into the red and checking out if I'm invincible or not

Liked it! I don't completely agree with some of the others that it could've been expanded on, I think game jam games excel exactly when they don't have too many mechanics. And I think this has a pretty good balance in that regard, the only thing missing IMHO is a difficulty curve

Quite fun and addicting to play! Shooting wasn't really useful since you could just spam it but other than that a great game!

Pretty fun! I basically have similar notes to other comments here. Could use something in progression, whether that be theme changes, speed increase, etc. The red wall doesn't really feel like a threat after the first 15 seconds or so. But otherwise, I really like the art and particle effects. I think they could have done with more variation but that's understandable. What you have here looks really good!

Simple mechanics, easy to learn and quite fun! To me the most glaring thing the game lacks is a difficulty ramp-up, as it felt like I had to intentionally try to lose for the red wave to catch up.
A really solid compo entry, great work! <3
Simple yet engaging, big fan of the "Newgrounds" flash-game type graphics and feel.

I liked some details - like how the ship stop to shoot, and the particle work is really well done using simple sprites
I think this game is currently too easy, as I needed to read in the comments how to lose :) Also I'm not sure there is a benefit to shoot towers, maybe if they will be more punishing. And also I think it's hard to see what's in front of you
Still, this is a working and fun game. Well done
