itch.io doesnt exist?

strainer 2026-04-20 17:26

umm cool page

flowerfield-games 2026-04-20 17:58

Hi, the game is being polished. We'll be uploading it very soon. Brace yourselves

rezonanc 2026-04-20 19:34

where is the game?

flowerfield-games 2026-04-20 21:13

We're about to upload it. Stay tuned :v:

flowerfield-games 2026-04-20 23:06

Guys, the game is online. Enjoy and share your feedbacks! (and score  )

whiteowl4399 2026-04-20 23:07

Cool battle! I like the design of this cybernetic fencer and the sound effect of sword impact.

yueyao-wang 2026-04-20 23:57

OMG The art look so great!! luv it

2026-04-21 09:30

I scored 17k points, sometimes it seemed like you had to press attack and parry at the same time, I would like a more meaningful order of attack and parry, sometimes it seemed like you could just randomly press attacks and parry to complete the game

flowerfield-games 2026-04-21 09:39

Hey, thanks for the sincere feedback! Character's animations are almost instant, so you can press both parry and strike at the same time, they would work if the input is detected in the window of the signal. Actually, if you randomly press actions and fail, they would go on cooldown and you might miss the next one or two inputs (depending on the pace of the combat you're on). Thanks for playing! We plan to add more variations and interactions if this prototype is to your liking :v:

jajalecapouet 2026-04-21 09:53

It works well ! Very good potential here :) Good job

hotdog 2026-04-21 10:45

Really cool game, very polished, the art and graphics are very impressive!

2026-04-21 11:54

Looks great!

But I have problems: Invalid binary data file size! (offset=347, size=19995397, file length=5075039)

2026-04-21 12:21

Art is good, but I cant see it if I have to look at the monitor at the top.

alex-o 2026-04-21 12:36

What a nice rhytm game! The graphics and the music are amazing, as well as the gameplay

aashen 2026-04-21 13:34

I agree with the guy above

If only i had game pad..... Addictive game with cool art direction and simple visuals, just the right type for the ludum dare. Wish we had more movement like left/right directions and jumping!

2026-04-21 13:41

Love the visuals

flowerfield-games 2026-04-21 14:40

@pavlo, do you get this error on the web version on itch.io?

flowerfield-games 2026-04-21 14:49

@alex-o @ekopeko thank you very much!

@aashen, without a gamepad, you can still enjoy it with the main controls on the mouse, but you get limited access to the critical mechanics, which were kind of a pain in the ass to design for the keyboard. Any suggestion about a better binding?

About the movement. Well, at first we were designing a versus fighting game, but with the first prototype we realize the signal was useless, so we pivoted and looked for something more about rhythm where the signal is th main character

xiao-duye 2026-04-22 02:10

Super cool game! The artwork and mechanics are very well developed. Great job!

artur-hawkwing 2026-04-22 06:02

I really enjoyed this -- it reminded by of Infinity Blade in a way. I feel like it would definitely have been better on a controller, but mine is a bit finicky at times, and I could not get it to work.

The design and aesthetic was great, and the music fit very well. Great job overall!

2026-04-22 09:03

I really love the art of the game! So cool and fun to play! Congratulations!

hexstart 2026-04-22 09:45

Hey, I'm getting this error trying to run the game, both on firefox and chrome: err.png

flowerfield-games 2026-04-22 12:16

@xiao-duye, @danibeve, thank you guys

@artur-hawkwing, great reference that we had no idea it even exists! thanks for the feedback!

flowerfield-games 2026-04-22 12:17

For everyone having issues with the **_invalid binary data file size error_**, I suggest you download and try the .exe version. Some of our assest are very heavy and we didn't have time to optimize it for the web version.

pavel-goncharov 2026-04-22 13:36

I wish I could make cool itch.io pages like this! 🥰 The visuals, sounds, and overall idea are very interesting. Maybe adding more enemies with different attacks would make it even better, but that’s probably too much to ask for a jam game! Keep it up!

2026-04-22 13:38

@flowerfield-games Yes

andrey-angaev 2026-04-22 14:40

Interesting way of combining bpm and fighting genres. I like the game much, it was pretty fun to play it. Good job, guys!

500 2026-04-22 15:41

The sound effects and art are both very impressive!!

muzzlove 2026-04-22 16:26

good idea, nice art and sound! i liked it!

bassilij 2026-04-22 17:25

I really enjoyed playing on the gamepad. I didn't immediately notice the health level, I was concentrating on the signals) Very active gameplay!!

2026-04-22 17:28

I couldn't get it to work in the browser, so I downloaded it. The game is great and I'm happy with everything, but there’s one thing: when I first opened it, the volume was extremely loud and actually hurt my ears. I went straight to the settings, but the volume slider didn't seem to work, so I had to lower it through the Windows Volume Mixer.

flowerfield-games 2026-04-22 17:40

@pavlo04 Thanks for the feedback. Yes, unfortunatly, we rushed the settings at the end and realise after publishing that it didn't work. sorry for you're ears :grimacing:

maxbluepanda 2026-04-22 18:11

The visual is awesome! I love the idea, though managing 2 signals coming from 2 opposite directions was kinda difficult

neshtyak 2026-04-22 18:31

Fascinating art and music with sound are picked well. Gameplay is prety smooth. Great work! One thing I found strange - tutorial windows that close by mouse click. As the main gameplay is about clicking the mouse on time, I think it would be better to close tutorial windows with another key or by button in ui so you won't accidently close tutorial (as i did several times haha). Also agree with a guy in the comment above - it's hard to click on 2 opposite signals in one time with one hand. Maybe there is no problem when playing on gamepad, but on PC it would be better if you could use keyboard instead of mouse. But still a good entry! :smile_cat:

jacky-san 2026-04-22 19:48

Soooo cool ! Love this game, mood is excellent as well as art direction and audio :two_hearts: THe game is well designed with a really cool concept that is working well ! It's beginning difficult a bit too soon for me though

nicekot 2026-04-22 21:37

Wow, that's impressive. You did one thing, but really nailed and polished it. Mad props, great entry.

perovic2018 2026-04-22 22:57

Very cool visual

bigdippers 2026-04-22 22:57

Very cool, not seen too many rhythm games so far, nice job

braktheman 2026-04-23 02:11

That was a great coordination exercise! Gets challenging after a while. Really enjoyed. Solid rhythm game that felt like it worked pretty well. Great visuals and felt polished for a jam game.

Nice work to the whole team!

2026-04-23 03:56

12268! fun rhythm type game!

hdvr02 2026-04-23 05:17

The game looks fantastic! I really like how the theme is integrated into the gameplay rhythm and how it ties into the visuals. The only downside is that the controls feel a bit overloaded, though it’s something you can get used to

flowerfield-games 2026-04-23 08:40

Thank you all for your messages! :hearts:

flowerfield-games 2026-04-23 08:46

@el-chivo-vivo Good one! In another universe this game would have a leaderboard so you could compete against other players score! One player just got 127 552 points :scream:

2026-04-23 09:24

Love it. One of the best.

faust-mi 2026-04-23 10:30

Interesting gameplay mechanic. It feels unusual at first, but you gradually get into it! The art and animation don’t distract you from paying attention to the signal and give a sense of impact from the attack.

Great job!

gecko64 2026-04-23 11:21

I loved this game so much! From the artstyle to the gameplay of it. It was all really great. Sometimes I could get overwhelmed by the signals landing at the same time from mine and the enemies but didnt really take away from the game. Good job this is up there with my favourites this ld jam!

2026-04-23 15:26

Realy cool game i love the animations and the art style the rythm mechanic

ribout-horace 2026-04-23 15:32

Cool idea! I like how it run, but the fact that the signal are not on any "beat" of the music feel so strange to me (especially since the game is name "BPM") but it's more of a detail. Cannot beat the 5th guy, I got lost in the input. Which is cool ! There not that many input but you still find way to make the game feel difficult but not unfair, and all of this in a game jam ! Congrats!

jerrywest 2026-04-23 15:43

Very cool graphic design! It would be even better if there were more obvious feedback indications when the attack/defense is successfully strengthened.

irkar 2026-04-24 11:22

Very cool game and fun to play, i love parry mechanic also great visual. Great job!Screenshot_20260424_142030.png

igor-korobeinikov 2026-04-24 17:56

Interesting project! I'm not a big fan of rhythm games, so gameplay didn't quite hit me. Though I really liked the art and overall game feeling Good job

flowerfield-games 2026-04-25 17:11

@irkar, great job! Thank you all, we're so happy you like it.

Here we wrote our first devlog if you wanna know more: https://flowerfield-games.itch.io/bpm/devlog/1497616/bpm-devlog-1-pivoting-after-day-1

paulsams 2026-04-25 19:00

It's simple, but it's an exciting game for just a few minutes. It completely copes with the task.

venomousmouse 2026-04-26 10:50

Very nice fighting. I like the music, rhythm and the flow of animations. Good job.

unreststudio 2026-04-28 16:18

Awesome art and concept, sound was a bit too high though ! Really nice to see via the devlog how you made the game from scratch.

Not surprising how cool the game is coming from you :)

pipetto 2026-04-29 08:45

A great battle system, with pleasant art and a good difficulty progression

ao-85 2026-05-07 03:15

I really enjoyed playing on the gamepad. I didn’t immediately notice the health level, I was concentrating on the signals) Very active gameplay!!

2026-05-07 11:31

Really decent work here. The game is fun to play and everything seems to be in its right place. Great job on the submission! Feels better than new Mortal Combat

annette 2026-05-08 17:05

Wow, I’ll be honest — I really enjoyed the game. I love rhythm games and PvP, so thank you for combining them!
