i'm particularily fan of the music inbetween the levels. it remains me the old arcade games.
The car selection screen has such a toy catalogue feel to it. Separate radio channels for the cars are a lovely detail, and the big purple Mega Van is an easy favourite from the screenshots.

I love polishing in this game, really lot stuffs; But game laggy as hell +-15 fps :( ; Overall - that's good
Nice graphics and audio, it really hits that nostalgic 80s RC vibe. The handling of the cars feels great too. My main issue is difficulty, I cleared all three tracks basically just holding W and occasionally hitting turbo, so some more challenge would help. No performance problems on my end unlike some others. Good work!))

The graphical and sound design here are both wonderful! As others have mentioned, it captures a great retro feel, perfect for the 80s vibe you're going for. I also really like the replay and ghost system. It's super unique for a game jam game, and it's really neat that I can share my ghosts with others and compete on the leaderboard.
The gameplay itself was super fun, albeit weird from a difficulty standpoint. The controls and physics both feel great, and are awesome in combination, but the ground is really non-punishing, especially for the Badlands Brute and even moreso the Mega Van. I found myself getting silver pretty easily by just holding space and W for most of the race, whether I was in the air or about to hit land, as I would "bounce forward" on land. Given the time bonus for tricks (which is a great way to incorporate the trick system into timing!), it doesn't encourage as much skilled gameplay to go for those higher medals.
Overall, this is a really great game, with a ton of detail from both a visual and audio perspective and an "around the game" perspective (leaderboards, ghosts, etc.) with quite solid gameplay. Thank you for sharing it!

The cars controlled great, the animations and sound were well done and felt polished. I really liked the grass particle effects, nice touch. The ghost replay on a VHS (good theming), and the medals for good times are also classic time trial game polish.
One thing that I would've liked to see is more opportunities to show player skill. A booster in the air that you need to line up just right, or a moving obstacle that you need to time avoiding correctly.

I love the music, especially the main menu theme. It really fits the vibe you are going for very well. Kind of a shame that the levels themselves didn't have music 😅
The gameplay itself was really fun as well, but as some other people here noted already, the levels where quite easy to clear quickly, although I think that's totally fine for a game jam entry.

As I spent 3 hours beating 7 of the 9 records, I assume I liked the game hahaha. Really good work. The only thing is that sometimes levels can be frustrating as it seems the level design was thought for one kind of hit box. This leads, in my opinion, on the mountain level, to a random score without much skill required on moutain level (am I just sad that I couldn't have de best score on it with the van ? Maybe hahaha). Anyway, besides that, everything is fun, polished and beautiful, great game. Well done !

Impressive amount of meta content with track sharing and leaderboards. Gives off nice retro vibes, and has great polish all-in-all.
I had some performance problems on my laptop, decreasing graphics quality didn't help much. Also the moon/sun was jumping around weirdly, looks like it has its own suspension.
Very polished game! It really reminds me of the days when I played with my radio-controlled toy cars. This game feels like a love letter to RC toys and games like Gravity Rush. Good entry!

Wow, this a really complete and polished experience! Great car physics that feel really fun, the graphics are really good-looking, and the music with the guitar is just right. Plus you have all the extra features, like the easily-navigated menus, personal-bests, medal tiers, leaderboards, and ghosts. An impressive amount of scope.
