What a great game
I'm a sucker for minigames so I had fun with this one. Though I feel the theme was a bit stretched to fit *current cultural thing*
Does a surprisingly good job of marrying ant and roman strategy gameplay. Obviously it's just a proof of concept but I'd like to see where it goes, maybe you'll fix some bugs and add more bugs to build. It could really use the ability to demolish buildings, and build additional bases. There's not really much reason to expand outside the starting area because not only does the efficiency decrease, but the risk of units getting stuck on buildings and eachother goes up aswell.
Pretty good game. I feel like the little blue arrow that tells you where to go somewhat diminishes the gameplay since you always end up just following the arrow. It would be cool to see this game rely a little more on memory or context clues.
This is really cool
Hotline Miami if the "bugs" you had to "extermintate" were actually bugs you had to exterminate. I love the per-level themes in particular.
Pretty cool seeing a PICO-8 game on here. The Game is fun and it's nice that it has some singleplayer gameplay to it though I think it could use some more given that's how most people will play.
Pretty good game from an aesthetic point. A bit easy though; I couldn't spend all my bones if I tried
Holy crap this is awesome! Obviously it it would be lovely if it had sound, even jsut some beeps and boops but it's very impressive as it is. I love the writing too, got some chuckles out of me.
Very charming, love everything about the aesthetic.
There are a lot of cool elements to this game, and I love the premise, but it doesn't fell like anything really works quite right for the game. The map is so big, I'm so slow, and the tracker tells me so little. It takes five minutes to swim somewhere just to discover that there's nothing there, and then the game is basically over.
I had big smile on my face playing this game. what a delight!
Really cute. I wish there was more to the gameplay.
Pretty cool game, everything comes together perfectly. It's a bit too long though.
You did this in half a day? Madlad
Pretty cool, I like these types of games. The radial pulse seems so much better than all the other weapons; it only took a couple of upgrades before I was firmly in "game plays itself" territory.
@marumari hell yeah man. I appreciate the honesty. It was really down to the wire making this, there are so many temp assets leftover it's not even funny. (it's a little funny)
Really nice looking game with a lot of well-executed mechanics. Unfortunately the gameplay was pretty much the polar opposite of fun imo.
SO cute
It took me a while to understand the game. It seemed open-world at first, and also I misread "minimum" as "maximum". But once I finally for it, it was a real treat.
Really charming.
I lot of really cool ideas in this. It's a fun mashup of action and puzzle. The last level was really brutal but I toughed it out because I wanted to see the ending.
I've been playing a lot of signal following games, and this definitely the most interesting framing device. I can really feel the desperation of the player character driving off into the woods with a near-empty tank and a radar dish stripped to the top of his truck. I can imagine a whole sequence of events leading up to that point. Very well executed overall.
Cool idea and the gameplay is pretty smooth. I swear the ping doesn't actually reveal all the asteroids, it got kinda frustrating.
Very cool premise and execution. I like how many different parts there are to it and how they build the world. The gameplay never really clicked with me. Ironically it seemed like it was all about improvisation.
Some pretty cool mechanics, but it feels like they never really come together into a proper challenge. The atmosphere was really let down by the goofy assets. It may even have been more compelling without graphics.
Knocked it out of the park with this one. So many cool ideas coming together in one game. I hope you're all proud.
what he said ^
Really cool, can be super frustrating sometimes. Thankfully you can jank your way through some of the challenges.
