A small map

revetoon 2026-04-22 17:50

@chicaka the map is literally around 76 921m² ... I know you are just a troll but it made me curious about the actual size of our map haha Unity_xXd1h8ifUi.png

zedgame 2026-04-22 23:11

I love the audio and visuals, brings back memories of java mobile phone games!

pegasys 2026-04-23 09:50

This is crazy good. Please make sure you rate enough other games to get people to play this, would be such a shame if people don't get to see it.

My only criticism is that the speed limit rules felt a bit like they go against everything else that makes this game fun, and are a little bit awkward to try and keep below. I hope this doesn't make people stop playing because as soon as you get past that first bit it becomes such a fun, silly experience. I love the creative use of the mechanics, and everything handles super smoothly. The art and music are great and and really fit well with everything else. The twists and little gags are also a really fun addition and help keep the game fresh throughout - especially love the ending sequence. Really amazing job guys!

roitchie 2026-04-23 10:31

This is very polished. I was curious what would happen after breaking the rules and it completely flipped my expectations on it's head. Won't spoil it for others who haven't played but it is incredibly funny. The rules do feel restrictive but that is kind of the point. Traffic signals is not an interpretation I thought of but it's an interesting take on theme theme. Great entry. Well done!

nekuake 2026-04-23 13:11

The traffic signals take was something I haven't think about haha I really like the 2000-ish game vibes and how it feels like a bit-sized burnout. Hope you get more visilibility! Good job!

New London 3D Turbo 2000 2026-04-23 7_12_11 AM.png This game was so amazing and the first time I broke the rules I didn't realize what was happening till I looked back and was instantly terrified. All the mechanics put into this game are amazing this is by far the funniest LD game I've played so far. Good job!

catanus 2026-04-23 13:40

I had a great time playing through the game. The train concept genuinely made me laugh, and it was easy to understand what the game expected from me right away. The pacing of each section feels just right—they’re well-timed and never get boring. It constantly keeps you curious about what’s waiting around the next turn.

There’s a minor visual issue in the segment with lots of signs—they seem to be facing the wrong direction. That said, it almost feels intentional. Very creative work—well done!

2026-04-23 13:40

Best game I've played so far. Gameplay reminds me of Denshattack. Style is consistent. Level design could use some tweaks. Getting crushed by Police cars was hilarious.

mezaka 2026-04-23 16:21

Cool. So I dont have a drivers license, but after playing this I feel very entitled to one... Can I do another 360 and you give me a british license?

logan-core 2026-04-23 18:20

Gameplay is great! Very fun and loved the humor! I did run into an annoying bug near the end: In the final section, you race back through earlier parts of the level. I got stuck and had to restart, but the checkpoints in those sections were still active, which forced me to replay most of the game. 🚓

venomousmouse 2026-04-23 20:10

It`s raining police! xD Very funny game and good implementation of car. I like how it feels.

jojopalambas 2026-04-24 17:06

@mezaka haha maybe we should submit the game to the government to see if it can be used as a simulator for new drivers, I am sure they will love the idea!

nexusasx10 2026-04-24 18:28

Literally 1984. This is the most funny game I played on this jam yet. Very creative. I screamed every time when a fragile sign appeared in front of my car.

catanus 2026-04-25 12:35

hahah Rain of police cars is epic. Played it once again :)

gecko64 2026-04-25 14:20

Felt like I was in the heart of London, I loved the aesthetic a lot and the tricks were quite fun along with the rules. One issue I had is that I would be driving fast just to drive into a dead end that was pretty hard to get out of sometimes. Other than that, had a good time playing good job :)

jcomcl 2026-04-25 16:06

It took me a while to understand the game. It seemed open-world at first, and also I misread "minimum" as "maximum". But once I finally for it, it was a real treat.

animaster 2026-04-25 16:46

The game really reminds me of Driver 2 on PS1 - it had a mini-game where you had to escape endlessly spawning police, and within a minute the screen would turn into pure chaos. This game gives off a similarly fun vibe. It feels great to play; the controls could be polished a bit, but overall I enjoyed it. Great work!

recursor 2026-04-25 23:34

It is definitely a strange world when you are busted by a throng of cop cars dropping from the sky. Crazy, chaotic, funny, and intense. The best attributes for a jam game.

cody-raethke 2026-04-26 01:40

Very fun! I was really impressed by the variety of art on the buildings, they looked realistic. The different levels were also very creative - favorite part was the train crossing.

A couple minor things: * After restarting the last level, the yellow car was never triggered to drive away; I was still able to win by running into him (v 1.5) * The music is pretty loud and repetitive, I'd appreciate a volume slider or just lower default music volume

irkar 2026-04-26 11:53

It's a fun game I really enjoyed playing it.

jordantanner 2026-04-26 15:41

LOVE the retro vibes and aesthetic, the fun jump + trick mechanics, and the hilarious dropping of hordes of cop cars from the sky was a clever (and fun) way to have the police intervene without having to code that logic. Also really admire the use of actual store facades in London for the set dressing -- great idea!

For me, I found the road layouts hard to navigate, maybe this was intentional, but with so many dead ends it was hard to for my to keep speed above 40 KPH for example. Perhaps the streets could be more interconnected. Communication with the player regarding the rules was decent, but perhaps a persistent UI label on one side of the screen reminding the player of what rules they are currently subject to might help. Also, perhaps an overhead map view (similar to the screenshot you posted above) in-game could be very useful. The rearview mirror is clever and sells the car vibe, but perhaps replacing that rear cam view with the top-down map view in one corner of the screen would provide more utility.

Super fun and creative entry. With some slight map tweaks and extra communication with the player, could be even better in my opinion. Thanks and huge congrats on a great entry!!

poweranze 2026-04-26 20:05

Heya, thank you for submitting your game to my stream, I had a blast with it! This was surely the funniest game this jam I played so far and getting pummeled by the raining cars was great. For me this felt very much like a rage game and I can easily see the game being expanded in that direction. The visual and sound design are great as well, especially love the sound when you do tricks.

The only real issues I had were with navigating, sometimes the turns were a bit too twisty for me and I got lost on the map. Any help guiding me to the next stage would be appreciated.

scottyartt 2026-04-27 07:46

This is very fun! Love the sound, visual and idea of falling cars. Didn't get to the end but spent some time with a lot of fun. Good job! Car control is difficult a bit, but i guess it was an idea to have it this way.

joeshanahan 2026-04-27 16:47

Okay so there are so many incredible subtle jokes here, but the very obvious train one made me laugh out loud. I also love that the fail condition is optional if you can just outrun it. 5/5. No notes.

scrapmetal 2026-04-29 01:28

This is INCREDIBLE. The car controls... camera... rear view mirror. :eyes: :open_mouth: what?? car damage.... :cold_sweat:  city and everything. :cop:

I love that I can play with a controller. (even tho I think it is easier with keyboard). The amount of polish and detail you managed to squeeze in to a weekend jam is astounding.

I wish I could adjust the sound levels a bit as the music was pretty loud. But... I mean... you had polished music and SFX too!! what the crap. it's so well done. I had a blast with it.

neowhoru 2026-05-02 09:06

lol this game is so funny crazy :D and its incredible how good it looks! Great work!

stasm 2026-05-02 13:04

I had lots of fun with this one, great job! I like how you were able to come up with multiple different weird and funny rules in a way that felt both fresh and fair. My favorite were the fragile signs appearing randomly out of nowhere. I loved the police cars spawning above me, just pure mayhem and very fun. Played it to the end and had a blast. It's a very "complete" game, which is impressive for a jam game.

marks 2026-05-03 21:28

Feels like a complete game! Loved the music and the old-school art, really reminds me of Mafia 1 back in the day.

I feel like the minimum speed limit is a bit too difficult for an intro but once that's out of the way, it's quite clear what the game's about.

Screenshot 2026-05-03 231841.png

The role swap at the end was very nice! Amazing job on this entry!

tetracold 2026-05-04 23:49

Absolutely loved it super polished and fun entry! the presentation is awesome and I can tell it has a lot of work put into it, there's a lot of cool details and it's very evocative if the era

I love that the gameplay keeps introducing new interesting mechanics and restrictions with each level! It stays fresh and it perfectly fits the fast pace of the game. I also really like that if something feels too hard you can just skip it by making it to the next check point, that's a great way to manage the difficulty

it controls super smooth and intuitive and I thought the tricks idea is awesome too

poshdan 2026-05-05 10:43

My way of playing this was to just ignore the rules and try to avoid the consequences. I also did not realise for minutes that you had to go off the street to even get anywhere. Might explain why that first commenter said the city was small. Really well done overall! Please put a volume slider next time

gurkenlabs 2026-05-05 14:11

This game is oozing with creativity, all the twists and changing rules are really fun and as a player you can feel how much joy you've had creating this game :) In several runs, I was never really able to get a proper airspin, my maximum was 220. And thus, I was kind of happy to see you can easily cheese the game by failing a task, letting the police follow you until the next checkpoint, and then reloading. The title music was very catchy and fitting, the arcadey driving physics were fun, the level design was well thought out and the overall aesthetics were quite impressive. Great game!

lllarso 2026-05-05 14:57

What a great game. Played the old version and the newest one. Changing the first task to a MINIMUM speed limit was definitely a great choice. :)

The controls felt good. Only complaint here: Having more speed while reverse driving would be good in my opinion.

Overall there was a lot of content in the game. The tasks are different from another, so it keeps you motivated. Played it till the end and had a lot of fun doing it. :)

lenny-rudeberg 2026-05-08 13:57

Very very funny, great graphics, music and game feel. Reminds me of Crazy Taxi and Tony Hawks. GG!

hagamosvideojuegos 2026-05-08 19:26

Simply sublime. The game instantly reminded me of Crazy Taxi with its energetic aesthetic and chaotic charm and I love it!

From the very first sign and warning, I was caught off guard in the best way possible, the absurdity of some of them was genuinely hilarious and incredibly creative. And that’s not even mentioning what happens when you break the law…

This is easily one of the funniest and most refreshing takes on the jam that I’ve played. Visually, it looks fantastic, and the whole experience completely won me over.

Congratulations for such an amazing job! :oncoming_taxi:
