I have deleted the embedded player because there is a bug changing the aspect ratio, will reupload if I have time to fix it. In the meanwhile the windows version should work fine
Edit: Finally fixed, now it is widescreen both in the webgl and windows builds.
it certainly is addictive!

Nice work, fun gameplay loop! I liked the graphics, they remind me of Earthbound. I wish there was maybe one more extra mechanic or something to set it further apart from Vampire Survivors but this is very impressive for a solo game!

I'm a sucker for a game like vampire survivors! It's got a fun kiting mechanic to it with some of the weapons trying to time when I can turn to do thread damage in!

Pretty cool, I like these types of games. The radial pulse seems so much better than all the other weapons; it only took a couple of upgrades before I was firmly in "game plays itself" territory.
It's a game alright
The download link doesn’t work :с

Pretty fun game. I'd say it could be a bit more difficult - maybe add either faster or shooting enemies? Especially with the movement speed upgrade, you can just kite zombies and never feel threatened.
@miclefirst Thanks for letting me know, I don't know what was up with that, but I re-uploaded it and it now seems to work fine.
Solid Vampire Survivors style game. Satisfying sounds, everything feels clear and distinctive, and balance is pretty good. All the key gameplay elements like kiting are well made, and the graphics feel nice and juicy. Could use a few more upgrade types, but overall very fun.

Like this game. Core Loop of bullet hell working as always xD
Oh, I managed to play the web version! Great game! It’s a shame the progress resets after 5 minutes — I’m sure I could’ve lasted longer :D
The character’s inertia was a bit frustrating at times — it sometimes caused me to stop or start moving too late. Also, the initial weapon fire rate feels a bit too low. A few times I got hit because I expected to attack, but the cooldown was too long.
Overall though, it was really fun — I had a great time and would happily play a sequel.
Missed opportunity to name it ***Zombie Survivors***. Apart from that, good game, although WASD input would be great (I have a 60% keyboard so arrow keys are awkward) and the player feels a bit slippery
@miclefirst Thank you for playing this through the end, it is a good sign that you played it for 5 minutes and you didn't get bored before that, but yeah I should had made this an endless kind of game with infinite amount of waves. It shouldn't be too hard to code but I was really trying to make the deadline at the last moment
@technicalitycreations Oops, I really thought you could move with WASD, I even have it in the instructions but I guess I always played with the arrow keys. Yeah, the slippery part is by design, to make movement a little bit harder to control so that it is not so easy to walk among zombies. It becomes less of an issue the more you upgrade your movement speed.

Fun, you really nailed down the gameplay loop! I could have kept going after it resets at 5 minutes! Gets a bit trivial to stay alive after enough upgrades, but nothing a bit of fine tuning the balance can't fix.

I appreciate the audio being set at a reasonable default level. The reset at the end of the time period was a little jarring. Would have of course been nice to have it be endless or even a sort of "Congrats on winning, the game will now reset" popup. The controls were terribly frustrating. It was an odd choice to have it be clearly meant to be played on a controller, but still restricting movement to 8 axis. Furthermore on a controller the input had to be EXACTLY (1,0) (-1,0) (0,1) or (0,-1) to move cardinally, otherwise it would lock into diagonal movement. As such, when playing on a controller, you are virtually restricted to only use diagonal movement. Otherwise, I do love survivor-likes and it was a very cute game. Just not sure how it relates to the theme at all.
@bobap Thanks for the feedback!
Well, the player is supposed to be tramsitting signals around him in a fixed interval, I thought this much was at least clear from the description, the game's title and the in-game graphics of the attacks. Also, I don't even mention controller input in my manual, I don't know why you would believe that it was "clearly" meant to be played with a controller when I specifically only mention keyboard. I don't even know if it works with a controller
Other than that, yeah I agree, this should have been an endless kind of game, but unfortunately I run out of time and I couldn't implement it, so the game ends after the last wave (10 waves of 30 seconds each, so at 5 minutes)

@exofrenon To be fair, the art for the attacks could be swapped out with pretty much anything and the game would play exactly the same. In that regard it could have fit any theme with just 3 asset tweaks. It came across as a controller game when none of the UI could be clicked on with the mouse and WASD didn't work for movement. Arrow keys haven't been the standard for movement in PC games for nearly 3 decades. Good news is, aside from the diagonal lock, it works flawlessly on controller.
Somehow managed to survive 5 minutes, although at the end I thought I died cause the game pretty much just reset out of nowhere. Still, it was really fun. After about a minute I had a million zombies chasing me and I was trying to lead them away from all the pickups so I could get to them. The graphics were great, the audio was well done too. It would've been better if WASD could've been used for movement. Also when I exited full screen on the web version inside of Ludum Dare it got really small for some reason. But nonetheless I am nitpicking here, you made an excellent game. Well done!
That was fun. I actually played it a few times to completion I was having so much fun. Pulse Weapon is OP though. I got it to +9 or +10 and it was destroying everything. Everything works well. Looks and sounds good. Controls were more than functional. All round a solid entry :8ball:
