Really charming game! I love the retro pixel art and the classic point-and-click adventure style. The whole atmosphere brings back that old-school gaming feeling, and the alien theme adds a fun twist. It's impressive that you made everything yourself, including the art, music, and code. Great job!

Very nice little adventure!

As an old-school point 'n' click -aficionado myself this warmed my heart. The UI's buttons were really janky for some reason, but I learned to live with them!

There was one item that I didn't found a use for, so was there perhaps a hidden puzzle to solve?

I'm trying to get myself familiar with Godot, so if you'll ever release the source I would gladly take a peek under the hood. 💾

BTW, there's another fellow jammer who makes [oldschool adventures](https://ldjam.com/users/iluvatar/games), so you might want to check 'em out.

Cheers!

Amazing product man, i love this so much!!!!

What a bopper of a soundtrack. Sprinkled with humor. I enjoyed exploring the house and trying different things. I made some accidental transitions between the rooms and accidental movement when trying to look at/use/pick up.

Nice experience. Good job!

Really enjoyed this one! I love old-school point-and-click adventures, and this little game really has that vibe. I thought I was stuck in the attic for a second since there wasn’t a clear (at least to me) indicator of where to leave. But that’s nitpicking :)

Thanks for playing and giving feedback @artemeda @dis0rder @mamboman @hidezen @coderaurus ! I'm also curious to see other point&click entries (also thanks for the tip @dis0rder). Regarding source code release: im reluctant to make my jam games open-source, unless it is a requirement from a jam, but if you're interested we can chat about the design/source in discord.

Wow, a real retro quest on LD! I liked it authentic vibes!🧐

Haha, absolutely loved the game! I'm having trouble finding any major issues to point out, it really was just a blast playing through this short quest! Amazing mood and humor! Really feels like one of the old-school point-and-click adventure games!

From the limited colors to the obscure solutions (fuse box puzzle), everything feels very time appropriate. And let's not forget the absolutely groovin' music!

I did notice some issues, like items not disappearing from the inventory when used and Willie sometimes moving on his own when entering a new room, but those are minor nitpicks.

Great job 👏 For a single developer, you've accomplished a lot in 72 hours.

You really captured the old school point and click vibe with this one, really takes me back. Awesome work!

Very cool point and click adventure and I like the fact that the puzzles are very intuitive, although I think it would be an improvement to remove available items when they have indeed been consumed for their purpose. Congrats!

Nice entry with a good old point'n'click mood. Looks like an NES game which fits perfectly the theme. It was fun! I got a small bug where clicking the bottom buttons also made my character moves.

harujam 2026-10-25 07:05 ♥ 1

@hnkxobka Heck yea, for some reason I watched Ron Gilbert interview day before jam so that's why I went this route..

@marks Glad to heart that!

@the-big-lost Yeah, I was so toasted on monday still working on the gfx that few bugs were left in the game

@matthewdrake Cheers!

@andriybyelikov Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it :)

@curtis-pelissier Congratz, you found the bug nr.2 which is game field and buttons overlapping. If I remember, I push a fix after the jam ;)

Wow, this has great vibes!

Liked the humor! Willy Flash is a great name to give a kid :D

Fits the theme on many levels and Kudos for not using AI.

fun game but going on and out screens are nigthmares ! it never change screens when i want to. I can't leave the attic (even if i have manage to did it in the past), so I'm stopping here. Even though I have the code for the chest in the cellar.

ordineu 2026-10-26 00:36 ♥ 0

Agreed with @roroto-sic I couldn't figure out how to exit the attic for the longest time (though that was also a feature of the games back then). I think it let me out when I went out the bottom of the screen or something?

Anyhow this was a fun trip down memory lane -- I used to play a few of these point and click adventure games. There's less random dying in this one than in King's Quest though haha. All in all a good entry though, congrats on finishing!

moondweller 2026-10-26 01:18 ♥ 0

Hahah, there was even a game inside the GAME :D

I definitely caught the vibe of old point and click games.

Screenshot_1.png Looking forward to seeing your next project!

harujam 2026-10-26 07:29 ♥ 0

You're absolutely right @roroto-sic and @ordineu the navigation right now is a bit of a hit&miss as there are no indicators where to go inside a scene. One more thing on the post-jam TODO list. Anyhow, thanks for checking the game out and playing, appreciate it!

yourykiki 2026-10-26 13:02 ♥ 0

My 2 cents, on animation, when walking in front of the door or circuit breaker, the character don't look in direction of walk, kinda strange

It's a fun kind of little escape game click n point, with ega like color palette. 👍
