A bit looks like AI slop(sry if its not), though it’s cool that they incorporated actual elements from myths. It’s a little dull, though, and the map is simple.

Nice tower defense. Easy and fun to play, though becomes repetitive after some time

I really liked the game; it has a lot of potential. I wasn’t too fond of Archimedes’ death ray burning up the poor seagulls jajaja! But I think you managed to create something very interesting in such a short amount of time, the effects are excellent. It would certainly be great to see a wider variety of Greek cities, ships, and weapons. Great job! xD

Γεια σας από την Κύπρο! Μια όμορφη και πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα ιδέα. Καταπληκτική δουλειά!

Hello, I am from Cyprus :) So nice to see this setting and your artwork is just beyond amazing. Love it, miss the games of Greek/Roman/Byzantine culture so much.

But in general: I'm a big fan of tower defence, and your game is wonderfully minimalist. I've enjoyed it :)

Thanks a lot!

A simple, fun tower defense game! I had a great time playing, and I’d love to see more strategic depth. Looking forward to seeing how it develops!

ganktronics 2026-10-21 19:47 ♥ 1

I've not played a tower defense that's got just one simple U shape like this dock, but it works. It plays well for a bit and is a good little jam game. If you were to want to make a game like this into a bigger game, it'd need a bit of variety or maybe waves with some pauses to rearrange stuff or sell off stuff. But as a jam game with 3 days? It's nice. Real nice. 1/10 on realism, but way better on being a great little tower defense.

Very fun spin on the tower defense genre! I think the game was well balanced and it was very fun, I think maybe the lack of different kinds of ships made it a bit repetitive after a while but I enjoyed my time with it a lot! Screenshot_2026-10-21_21-53-30.png

Congratulations on finishing this! Dragging ballistas and catapults onto the quays felt smooth, and watching ships close in while splash shots landed was satisfying. The clean isometric harbor and Greek-style UI look great. Well done!

Very well done base defender game given only 72h! I liked the greek style for which the color palette is a good fit. The difficulty was ok, however I did not feel too challenged and after populating the entire dock with arms it was smooth sailing ;) I was kinda waiting for a boss ship to arrive which would wipe half of my cannons away, but its absence is of course understandable given the time limit of the jam. Otherwise healthbars were from time to time a bit hard to see and it would have been a plus to substitute/move the arms around. Anyhoo, one of the better jam games from LD60 I've played. Good job!

2026-10-23_08-41-46.png It’s a very interesting game; in the tower defense genre, it’s probably the best game at the jam.

I like the mood, the graphics and the tech ! It's clean, clear. You quickly see how it works 👍

Very good game with a great sound atmosphere and nice graphics! I had a really good time playing it! If I had one piece of feedback, it would be to add a few more elements to break up the repetitive feel of the game (turret upgrades, a skill tree, etc.?). Otherwise, the game is great, well done!!

Fun little tower defense game! It's just a shame it's a bit too easy.

rocktavious 2026-10-24 15:23 ♥ 0

This is a great tower defense game! You put all the elements together very well. The power ramp was great eventually i got overwhelmed.

I felt like the greek fire wasn't accurate it seemed to miss most ships.

Thank you all for playing our game! Really glad so many of you have enjoyed it!

Yeah, the balance could use more work. Some tower combinations can keep going for over an hour, as long as you replace the machines destroyed by enemy ships. That also ties into the feedback about repetition—once you have a strong setup, there isn't a lot to do.

@arfenalis @nephem @fullmontis @labicorne Thanks for the suggestions about variety and progression! If we would have more time we would have definitely added more than three ships types. Ways to improve your defenses would also be nice, as they would allow less streamlined decision approach.

@ganktronics @harujam Making tower placement permanent was intentional, so you had to commit to your choices. But maybe we should have allowed destroying machines for some price, to leave players room for experimentation. And thanks for pointing out the health bars!

@rocktavious You’re right about Greek fire’s accuracy! That was intentional too. A direct hit destroys any ship, so it becomes less accurate at long range to balance that out. We could have probably have explained that better in-game.

@emaigualmc2-art The seagulls really did get the worst end of Archimedes’ inventions 😅 Glad you enjoyed the effects!

I love the setting, really enjoyable, I like the mix of towers and the death ray is just fun. I like how the ships shoot back which give use for the cheap rubbish towers to take the damage.

Maybe the difficult needs to ramp up a little more after all didn't the Greeks lose despite the nifty inventions

shlolo 2026-10-26 13:23 ♥ 1

Really fun tower defense game. Loved the different types of towers. An option to sell or destroy your own structures would have been nice though, since there isn't really a way to replace a tower.

I also really liked the graphics. It looks really clean and the font you chose also fits the theme very well. I'm also wondering how you did the tower sprites. They move and rotate very smoothly. Are they actually 3D models, or did you maybe render them out as sprites at different angels? In any case, very nicely done 😄

sadcrawler 2026-10-27 10:15 ♥ 1

It feels like the foundation for a very good game. Right now, it lacks progression - nothing really changes during run, but the structure itself, the differences between the towers, and the atmosphere are all great!

Really nice game! I've always enjoyed tower defense games, so this one was right up my alley. I like the idea of defending Syracuse using ancient technology instead of the usual towers and weapons. It gives the familiar tower defense formula an interesting twist, and the historical setting makes it stand out even more. I also think it's a creative interpretation of the Old Tech theme. Great work, especially for a game jam!
