The radio and chunky cassette buttons look great! Making a mixtape straight off the radio is a fun idea.

Really great idea, and the implementation is simple and effective. Great audio work, fun hook. Excellent work!

This gives me old-school radio vibes!

Took me a few attempts to understand what I was doing (me not understanding the name of the game didn't help, and maybe me being too young) but I got it eventually. As above, the dial is fiddly to get working. Otherwise had a great time, I thought the visuals and overall vibes were nice.

the pause + rec trick to smooth the recording is there! i got back to creating my mixtapes xD

yarakdemir 2026-10-20 21:16 ♥ 1

I love thisss. I wish there was a game like this with known songs. Or creating mixtapes should come back :D

Really cool style, and a fun little concept! You really captured theme of old tech perfectly!

@tort1lla that's odd. when and where did you see that error?

Great vibes, love the talking. Thanks for the game!

IMO this game should have more exposure! Here's my feedback: + Crisp pixelart, love it. + Holy moly: radio static sounds like dentist vacuum cleaner tool :D (i grinned hard hearing it first time) + Clean controls, everything works ok

- The UI could include tiny bit of more info, like for tuning knob: "Tuner/MHz" and a frequency display. - I wanted to do the manual rewind of a cassette with a pencil :P

Honestly its a very cute game! I love the visuals and the way you did the audio was really funny! Sadly i couldnt tune down the music in the webgl player >.< but honestly thats a minority of an issue! Thank you for shring your work <3

That was a really interesting idea! :) I really love how you implemented the whole recording process, it was really crispy and full of analog texture! Quite a fun short gameplay, I lost myself trying to do the best seamless mix between the tracks, but somehow I managed to break the recording thing and had to start again lmao XD ( I think I paused the track and somehow it bugged for me, stopped recording or playing anything). Really liked your little game, it hits hard in such a passionate thing with a nice dose of humor and a responsive interface! Great job! Thank you for the game 😄

@hinamarina ay, I'm sorry you had to restart and thanks for pointing that bug out. I will have a look at it.

Really charming little game. The cassette radio setup is spot on, chunky buttons and pixel art included, and recording tracks straight off the air is such a fun loop. The pause and rec trick for a seamless mix is a great touch. The tuning dial is a bit fiddly and a frequency display would help, plus I lost a recording to a bug after pausing once, but honestly none of that spoiled it. One of the more original and cozy entries I've played. Good job!))

The graphics are well done, the process is a bit of unintuitive and i recorded only two rock songs but it registered as a succesfully completed task

annie-owl 2026-10-24 11:42 ♥ 0

That was an interesting take on the theme!

Love the pixel-art graphics of your mixtape studio and all the songs you can find on the radio.

The station selection nob seems to work weirdly - when I rotate it clockwise it goes back and forth in a fairly small section, so I had to click off of it and click again to move it to the far right or far left.

Besides that I haven't encountered any problems, good job on a game! 🙂

I love how you made the radio static sound :D I wish the dial was a little bit less fiddly, but I managed to work it out by just dragging mouse up or down instead of wiggling it to the sides (which felt more natural with the circular button). Really cool idea for the game, reminded me of ol' good days of doing this IRL :)

captandrey 2026-10-26 10:05 ♥ 1

Fun and novel! I got stuck on the radio wave controls for a minute, but managed to find a workaround :)

randomhuman 2026-10-26 14:03 ♥ 1

Great tunes and sound effects! Pixel art interface is lovely as well. Seems like the last level should be the first one though, it seemed to be the easiest to me.

the-big-lost 2026-10-26 14:12 ♥ 1

I had a lot of fun recording and listening back to mixes. Actually wish the tapes were a bit longer. Very intuitive controls. The static made me laugh 😂 Awesome little game!
