Top notch presentation! Really loved the art and vibes of this one. I think some of the tutorial texts went away a bit too fast so I had to refresh the game to read them properly. Very enjoyable experience once I understood the game loop

hugohil 2025-10-06 21:32

this is so cool! loved it :) the visuals and the atmosphere are really cool, everything is chill. maybe a link to a itch.io version to play it in fullscreen would help enjoy it even better. cheers!

evelyn-rudaleva 2025-10-06 21:41

I really love it!!! Amazing graphics and interesting gameplay!

lyshaka 2025-10-06 21:43

You can full screen if you scroll the 2 scroll bars down and right there is a button to do so ! I liked this game but I couldn't get enough stamp money each time :c and also the SFX are a bit loud :/

bit0 2025-10-07 06:16

@hugohil Thank you! Good idea, we added a link now!

bit0 2025-10-07 06:18

@lyshaka Thank you very much for your feedback! Yeah something about the embeding ain't right, thanks for pointing out! We didn't have much time to play with the sound effect volumes, so I hope it wasn't too bad! It should be possible to get enough money tough...

bit0 2025-10-07 06:19

@evelyn-rudaleva Thank you!

bit0 2025-10-07 06:20

@tommeh Thanks a lot for your feedback! Every tutorial text but the last one stay on screen untill you do what the tell you to, but for the last one you're right, we should have made it last longer!

harujam 2025-10-07 07:11

I liked the visuals (especially the palette selection) the best, they bring stamp collecting vibe up 200% :) Good job!

myheadmess 2025-10-07 07:31

@harujam Thank you so much !

helen 2025-10-07 09:24

Nice entry! I like the art style and the tutorial at the beginning. It's also a funny idea at all :D How can I manage to survive the second day? I only get $211 instead of $212 :'(

bit0 2025-10-07 11:11

@helen Thank you so much for your feedback! Well, on the second day you probably collected the round woman stamp and two identical stamps showing green triangles and circles, right? You obviously need to collect the woman, but are the green triangles realy the most valuable stamp? Is there maybe something that is worth slightly more? Look at every stamp closely!

helen 2025-10-07 11:48

Thanks @bit0! I totally saw the wrong man and thought he's only $2 worth.

bit0 2025-10-07 11:59

@helen Haha yeah, that's the point of the game!😄

artalasky 2025-10-07 19:26

I didn't understand what to do after I tore off the stamps and put them in the box on the right.

I thought I needed to glue on a fake stamp from the book, but nope.

In any case, the game looks great—it's almost a complete project, definitely a thumbs up.

pimeko 2025-10-07 19:46

Very cute graphics and loved the idea of realling digging in the mailbox :) I also made a stamp-stealing game, it's always funny to see how others use that same idea to make completely different games

gloogsquad 2025-10-07 20:00

Really charming game! I love the art style!

sypiac 2025-10-07 20:14

Oh, you tricked me quite a few times with the similar stamps, well done. It's definitely not worth 999$ now.

matthewdrake 2025-10-07 23:20

Really cool concept, great work making some of the most and least valuable stamps look really close. Allowing the player to choose where the letters are in the mailbox is also great since it allowed me to sort them into "definitely not worth taking", "check closer" and "definitely take" piles. All around a really cool game, my only complaint would be that the sound where you place the sound into the box is a little too loud compared to the rest of the audio. Still a really solid entry, nicely done!

bit0 2025-10-08 06:36

@artalasky Thank you for your feedback! We sadly didn't have time to make the tutorial as good as it could have been... You need to press the button on the top right to continue, or wait for the "suspicious-bar" to fully fill up!

bit0 2025-10-08 06:37

@pimeko Thank you so much! Yes, it's always fun to see how similar ideas can turn into completely different games, excited to check out your game as well!

bit0 2025-10-08 06:39

@gloogsquad Thank you so much! Yeah, I also think @myheadmess did a great job with the art!

bit0 2025-10-08 06:41

@sypiac Haha that was our goal, glad to hear it worked! XD You're right, definitly not worth 999$! Or is it?🤔

bit0 2025-10-08 06:46

@matthewdrake Thanks a lot! Yeah, when we had the idea of stamps and letters we instantly thought of "papers, please" and its controls, glad to hear you liked it! Apologies for the audio volume, I was a bit under time preassure when adding the sound effects!

azahara 2025-10-08 10:50

Nice game! The art is lovely, and the gameplay feels solid. I have to say, the music gave me a bit of anxiety toward the end xD, also loved the little eyes on the time bar! Congrats!

bit0 2025-10-08 11:11

@azahara Thank you! Yeah, the music is supposed to stress you out lol, glad you enjoyed the game!

ultraviolet 2025-10-08 14:15

An interesting and entertaining game concept! However, because the cost of the stamps is closer to the adjacent row than to the stamps you actually need, I initially thought that the cost of the stamps was on the left.

bit0 2025-10-08 17:16

@ultraviolet Thank you for your comment! Oh no, I see the problem with the stamp costs, definitly something we could have done better, thanks for pointing it out!

ansible 2025-10-08 19:05

Day 1 fail, Day 2 211$ :sob: Day 3 Ok ok, Day 4, I got this... Day 2500$ - I got the 3 guys chilling (that's big money), I got my duck with they eye. Plus that range is worth something. Wait no, that's not the...

I really want to be in the stamp club!!!

(edit to add the 7's kinda look like 1's to me)

bit0 2025-10-09 06:53

@ansible Haha that sounds like you had the experience we were trying to achieve! XD Apolpogies for the 7's and 1s looking similar, we did notice that before submitting the game, but at a point where it was to late to change...

re-markable 2025-10-09 13:27

I really love this game! Having to compare them to very similar looking stamps with the slowly increasing time pressure works really well! The music really helped emphasize that too!

My only concern is that it is extremely punishing and tedious to have to replay all the levels just because you couldn't figure out 1 level. If the levels had some randomness to it, it would make sense, but now it's just a chore having to replay the ones you already figure out to get back to where you were.

I think if you would allow the player to just restart from the level they failed, this would be a flawless game! Really great job you guys!

bumble 2025-10-09 14:56

Sadly, this game does not look right in fullscreen on a screen wider than 16:9, so I had to fiddle around a bit to get everything into view that I needed.

But this game has a lot of charm, especially with the ability to sort you stamps in-between rounds and the fun little post-its all over the place. I really liked what you did in the short time frame!

bit0 2025-10-09 14:58

@re-markable Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the game! Yeah, balancing the difficulty of the game in general was a little hard, being able to restart from exactly the day you failed would have taken away a lot of the pressure, as you could just try out stamps to find out their worth... Though you're right, having to start from day 1 every time is very punishing, we should probably have found some middle ground!

bit0 2025-10-09 15:02

@bumble Thanks a lot for your feedback! Oh no, we were aware that the game doesn't work on anything but 16:9, thought I forced the resolution to always be that, but apparently that didn't work... Glad you figured out a workaround!

wouter52 2025-10-11 09:52

I like the game, it feels very polished. Some feedback I've got:

- Love the different kind of stamps and how similar they can be. I also like how the book is random each session - The explanation sheet was a bit confusing to me. The tutorial level was much more clear to me - Level 4 I don't really get. Maybe I missed something? The mission was to get 100$ worth of stamps. I found one that was >100$ and collected it. The mission failed though? - I don't like how the game throws you back to the start when a level is failed. It feels like a chore. Maybe the levels could have been a bit randomized? Or maybe de stamp values? That way, when the game restarts, you can't do it from memory

The music and graphics are beautiful and I like how there is an indicator for the number of levels

bit0 2025-10-11 13:37

@wouter52 Thank you very much for the detailed feedback, glad to hear you enjoyed the game!

->Sorry about the explanation sheet(I personaly found it clear but I guess I already knew what it's supposed to say lol), @myheadmess probably was under time pressure too when making it... It's supposed to explain to you that you want to join the stamp club but don't have enough money, so you decide to steal stamps from mailboxes

->We actually thought about randomizing the levels early on, but it would have been fairly complicated to code, as you can't just spawn random stamps but have to make it so that you have multiple similar ones per level, every level is solvable, there's only one correct solution, etc. so it the end there simply wasn't enough time ):

->For day 4 I think you're mixing something up: On day 3 the objective is to get a single stamp worth 100$(The mouse). On day 4 the objective is to get your collection to a total value of 700$(duck with eye, mountains & duck without eye). Some people pointed out that with the font we used "7" and "1" look very similar, maybe that's the reason?

wouter52 2025-10-11 13:49

@bit0 oooohhh 700! I can do that 😎

Oh so, that's the lore the first sheet was explaining! I will take a look later on. I want to finish it so I'll be back later I think :-)

Randomizing the levels can be very difficult indeed, it gives an extra dimention of potential trouble to keep track of. Maybe a button to restart the day would suffice then. It can be frustrating to do keep doing level 1 over and over again

bit0 2025-10-11 14:01

@wouter52 Yes maybe that would have been the solution, thank you! Happy to hear you wanna come back, though I gotta warn you some people said there was a bug on day 9 so I'm not sure wheter you can get past that😬

myheadmess 2025-10-13 07:06

@ansible I'm glad you like it XD !

wouter52 2025-10-26 07:37

Congratz on the fine results!

bit0 2025-10-26 11:54

@wouter52 Thank you!
