What a relaxing game! Love the little constellation journal with quotes! They aren't hard to remember, and getting one is very satisfying. I noticed a small issue - the stars can appear behind the score text and they aren't clickable. It's not a big deal though. Great job!

thanks! we were rushing to try to fix that at the end but ran out of time, and we're gonna fix that along with a couple other issues such as the high score not working in a future update. Thanks for playing !

Hey this is pretty cool, I think the initial time you have per "run" or "night" might be a little bit long, just for the style of game you have here. But it's really satisfying to rack up a big combo and let it go to watch all the star-score add up. Great work guys.

Nice concept! I was kinda hoping to get to draw the real star constellations as such learning game was the first pc game I played in late 80s :D Otherwise getting constellation combos was satisfying and I liked the comfy vibes.

Hello, It's an awesome game. I think it would help to have an arrow indicating to turn the page in the journal using the mouse click. Awesome work!
gonna add arrows to the journal! right now you can use arrow keys to switch pages

I really enjoyed it. the game turned out to be super addictive! At first, it wasn’t entirely clear what was going on, but then it became fun to hunt for constellations, especially since the whole process feels so satisfying, thanks to the great voiceover and smooth animations. Excellent game - congratulations!
Pretty weird game but theme is cool, didn't unlock other patterns except three green, effects are juicy enough so it works for me anyway.
Also open this in web starts very laggy, but fluent few seconds later not a big problem, just bit weird
yep, we're gonna try to fix the lag problem which is just shaders and particles not loading in ahead of time. Also, you can see all the constellations in the journal! jsut click left and right arrow keys

Had fun and after I understood the system, a lot of fun. It is very satisfying to get a huge constellation together. P.S.: works well on phone too

This is a cool game to pair constellations. I would have liked the pacing of the levels to be faster.
Lovely, the bubbly letters remind me of some very old games on Mac. Scoring-wise I didn't quite understand the mechanics, I did get the belt and around 4200 points, but my mouse would (randomly?) lose "focus", without capturing the constellation-in-progress.
fun game, I just wish the stars disappeared faster after I collected them since I found myself trying to collect them again not knowing they were already collected
@dining-philosopher thanks! that was the vibe we were going for. You get points from collecting stars AND if you were to make a constellation out of them. some constellations have multipliers or effects that modify points. Also, if im understanding properly then the mouse losing "focus" is because a star that you were trying to form a constellation with died, breaking your constellation. thanks for playing!
A fun concept and a very zen single-player experience... hunting for the patterns in the chaos is a satisfying game loop. Nicely done!
Nice, enjoyed looking for those constellations or parts of constellations. I did have trouble finding the Corona Major & Minor. Actually, never did score one. - I would put key images of left and right on the book. - This game could be even more therapeutic with flashier stars and flasher line that you draw. - I like the page during effect.
WOOWWW!! your site on itch.io looks so cool. And the theme use is amazing!!!! I am fascinated

Interesting game! It's fun to explore the underlying rule when collecting the stars in different orders.
cute game, i likes the journal but didnt really understand what i was doing. cute sound effects though and love the concept
A nice, dynamic game. I didn't find any bugs.

Connect the stars into a line and watch them burst one by one, which is really decompressing!
Such a dreamy quality, I love how the text looks, with that 90's 3D feel. I really liked the combo mechanic, though I feel that the detection was a little iffy, though that's normal for something like this. x3
Very nice and relaxing.
Really nice relaxing game! I got 4560. I really liked the idea of making constellations with different effects, but I couldnt really tell if that was happening or if it was just big combos as I played. Also the sound was very jarring, I wish it was something more cozy and relaxing. Overall really nice job, very creative idea!

It's a cool meditative game, it makes you relax, I felt a nice vibe.
I just saw your game at web version. At first, I didn't really understand the gameplay and just clicked on the stars individually, wondering why it was taking so long. BUT THEN I discovered the star-connecting feature and was hooked! The idea is captivating, and it's so cool that you made it a web version! I'm not a fan of reading instructions, but I read the description, opened the journal, and saw a constellation. I decided I needed to assemble this specific one, but then I thought it was a bit too simple, but the journal wouldn't move with the mouse, so I accidentally clicked on the arrows. Perhaps they should have added a tutorial for casual players like me at the beginning, since many people like me don't like to delve into the description and need instructions in the game itself. And frankly, the color palette made my eyes a little tired at the end. Overall, it's a clear and engaging game.
Clever concept! Loved the nostalgic style
Nice relaxing game with solid visual/audio feedback. Really enjoyed the audio cues that fired as your score counted up. Very satisfying. Nice entry!

Really enjoyed the old computer game vibe, whoever did the sound effects nailed it too!! After a while the screen can get pretty cluttered and overwhelming maybe adding stuff like screen wipes and other effects with certain constellations could be nice! Good job tho!!!
@derek-glennon @matimoo thanks! i worked on the sound effects and im really happy with them. and @matimoo i like the idea of clearing the board and we'll probably add a constellation that automatically scores every star on screen for this
I doubt it's a good score since I wasn't able to collect many of the official constellations, but I was able to make some cool new ones  Screenshot 2025-10-11 223919.png

this is super cool! it took me a couple rounds to fully understand what i waws doing but once i did the game really opened up. visually identifying constellations is surprisingly tricky, and makes the game way more engaging to me. and the constellations that give higher star spawn rates have a really interesting risk/reward component, since the more stars there are the harder it becomes to identify constellations. even though you're mostly at the whims of the game's rng, those few decisions you can make regarding what constellations to form, on top of the inherent difficulty of identifying them in the first place, make for a much deeper experience than i initially expected on the surface. the visuals are nice and the sounds are really good, it's very satisfying making really long constellations just from the visual and audial feedback alone. my high score was 10598 hhss.png
loving the feedback! thank you all! @torcado thats a huge score, probably the largest ive seen from another player.. I think my best is around 23,000 but im not sure how much of that comes from luck and/or knowing the game inside-and-out
Very fun! Took me a second to understand exactly what to do or how to navigate the journal. A couple more tooltips on how to play and what the different benefits are of each color star might be helpful!
