Oh snap, I forgot to make it public...! @jarno go ahead, give it another try.
Managed to win after the second try! The graphics and visual effects are great, but one thing I found a bit annoying is having to place new pipes next to existing ones, which makes planning ahead more difficult. Overall, a nice little game!
Good puzzle game.
I like that you can fight the randomness of the given pipes by making other path.
This makes unesserary funny loops, but hey it's a game and it's all about having fun !
The flow system is good, i didn't enconter bugs.
Music is calm, a little repetitive but it's okay.
Good game !
I had a great time making pipes! I really love the art and theming of the game, with the old aesthetic and the rags to repair. I ended up bugging the water flow when leaks starting breaking out, but I had a good time building pipes before that!
This game is really satisfying and relaxing caught me fix the pipeline for 15 minutes straight, great job !!!!
There's a vibe I like. However, you could have started with a way smaller map. Step one of gameplay was taking a lot of time doing a path. Then launching water, repairing, closing (by the way I freezed the game by closing at one point), repairing. You could have mixed the two phase.
Don't trully understand how you should play but win first try anyways ! 😄 Good art, lofi music to help thinking, i take the time to do a full pipeline setup before letting water spread and constantly use of tape and hope. A good little game.
@zectalier Thanks for playing! I understand the sentiment and kind of agree as well. But I decided to lean on the 'growing a tree' approach.
@jathurshandev Hey, thanks for playing!
@vandervas-generator Thanks for playing! Can you elaborate on the bug, what were you doing in response to the breaks?
@stanewolfer Thanks for playing!
@tatawanda Yo, thanks for playing! I agree, the map could have started smaller and then expand as you play. It was a consideration I had to scrap. What do you mean by mixing, that the pipes could have started to break immediately when filled? Or forcing the water streams before the piping is done? I guess I just wanted to make sure SOMETHING worked and kept the phases split, haha.
@isline Thanks for playing! Yeah, I realized the controls may cause trouble without proper guidance. Had to whip out the info panel in the last hour to give a chance. Use of right mouse would have been missed by too many.
Nice twist to the classic pipedream game. It is also good that you see the "catalogue" of available pipe pieces so that you can plan ahead. Graphics are very nice and boost the mood of the game. What I was missing was an undo button, and maybe a bit the pressure of building from the original pipedream, where the water starts to flow after some seconds automatically.
For some reasons the music gives me Twin Peaks vibe ☕️
This was really fun! I just spent a long time making the tubes, but because the next pieces are chosen randomly, you can never perfectly finish the system. I was trying for a long time, but you always create more problems for yourself XD In the end I had only on open end and I decided that it was good enough and to just let the water go. I really enjoyed this part as well. Slowly but surely everywhere things were going wrong and I had to decide what places were most critical to fix. Both parts were really fun and they complemented each other beautifully. I really enjoyed this one! Really well done ^.^
@CodeRaurus - After the pipes were cracking and I was running out of rags, I tried breaking some of the pipes and the water got stuck, and wouldn't start to flow again.
The puzzle mechanic here is really clever; I love how the requirement to manage the water flow adds a whole layer of difficulty. Using the available catalogue of pipe pieces definitely allows you to plan routes efficiently. Great job making a calm but challenging experience!
Excellent design! Build your water pipe system and then use pressure to continuously prompt players to modify the pipes. The random pipe components enable players to fully unleash their imagination.
@harujam Thanks for playing! Undo could be nice. At least you can remove parts.
@aleksey-salion Huh, I see. Thanks for playing!
@wuppos Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!
@vandervas-generator Ah, yeah. That likely breaks things. I'll be looking into that.
@eugenik Happy to hear you enjoyed the slow pace. Thanks for playing!
@peng665 Thanks for playing!
Pretty cool game. Just barely managed to beat it. I really liked how the cloth looked when it was rapped around the pip with the piece that would tangle down.
Building the pipe was quite zen, but patching holes wasn't particularly engaging. The rags being a limited resource that's less than the number of breaks feels like a place for an interesting gameplay decision to be made, a simple water simulation like lower pipes spilling water faster maybe?
On a technical note, a bunch of the pipe breaking sound effect played simultaneously for me at one point which was quite loud, those sorts of SFX ought to be normalised.
Just a bug report for the moment
I made this beauty with some leaks at the end, it crash hang my firefox, tabs because unresponding
I retry another run and give more feedback !
I made 2 more pipes, one failed, too much leaks ! The other was ok
The 2 phases, building and leaking is a cool idea. I wish I had more rags !
On the build phase, it's a cool trick to be sure to close the pipes, I thinks that's why I lose at first, there was 2 pipes I couldn't close
Graphics are clean, well done !
Really nice puzzle game! Simple idea but quite satisfying to figure out. Maybe adding more mechanics and increasingly challenging levels could make it even better! Great job!
e1ab5a3b-59f9-4a39-9ecb-aba3cf891883.png I finished the pipes first, and then just waited for the bar to fill. Not sure if this is the intended way to play this game, but I managed to do this despite the random pieces given.
I like this type of puzzle game. Not sure what happened, but I tried twice, and the game got stuck after opening the water pump both times. D:
@ludumdaredevil Thanks for playing, I also like how the rags turned out.
@nathmate Thanks for playing! I agree with the booming sfx. I had thought about it very early but at the end didn't have time to sort it out. I find it interesting you were not as engaged in the second phase, the one where you are supposed to lock in.
@yourykiki Thanks for playing and reporting in with the crash. Haven't had time to look into it yet but I have a solid idea where it breaks.
@elmani335 Thanks for playing! I had extra stuff in my backlog in case I had the time for it. Alas, time wasn't there.
@crotonyl-alcohol Thanks for playing. You had totally valid approach. My intention was to encourage to build a closed system but not requiring it to finish.
@ueighti Hey, thanks for playing the game. Your game froze when initially opening the gates, did I understand correctly? Odd.
It's a good puzzle game. I think the level is a little too big for start with. The leaks add a nice touch. 👍
The game crashed once for me but I managed to beat it anyway. I really liked this!
Nice entry! At first I thought there wouldn't be much challenge, but then I learned how quickly the pipes start leaking. I feel like I should get in touch with the factory making these things, their lifetime really isn't impressive... It went from nice building exercise to putting out fires fast.
I guess I hit the bug the instruction warned about when I tried to replace a leaking pipe, but I couldn't avoid it as there weren't any parts that weren't leaking left. 😄
Anyway, I had fun!
@fifut Thanks for playing. I agree, the size should be the end of progressive expansion.
@online-play Hey, thanks for playing! I did a patch to fight against crashes.
@mikropiru Thanks for playing! I made a patch for the crashes. Lemme find the factory contact for you... Huh, there was only an hourglass. Odd.
Congrats on your nice entry! Very playable if not very original. The leaking is a nice idea, but boy do the pipes leak at the end. I literally patched every segment of one of my pipes.
Kinda relaxing to play except for the music loop which was short and got a bit annoying pretty quick. Nice thing that the toggle was right there on screen. The fullscreen did not work on MS Edge. I imagine this could be a prototype of a very nice puzzle game. My attempt was just frustrated very far ahead because when I was going to repair a pipe the game instead deleted it while flooded and as you had warned: it broke the game. Congrats on your submission!
@loveapplegames Thanks for playing! The leaks do get out of control at the end, for sure.
@holysparks Thanks for playing! Huh, didn't think Edge would be acting out. And it sounds odd the game broke, or the fact there was unintentional input.
