It's a nice idea for a game. I like it.

I really like the way this text based literary game plays. This gameplay is very fresh and creative. It gives me inspirations. If you had more time to make it more polished, I think it could become a really impressive work.

I got to the ending, such a unique concept, I think with more story this makes a great horror game!

xiao-duye 2026-04-23 01:10

Super interesting concept! I love the narrative approach.

Really interesting concept, it was really cool to see it in action.

I liked this one; the writing was nice and discovering the options like that isn't really something I've seen before. Overall really nice :D

Very clever use of three signal sliders! I liked the story as it unfolded. I made sure to see what each of the three paths looked like, nice to see they vary some. I got chills at specific parts, seeing what the text would spell out. Well done!

oh very cool! really well fitting for the signal theme. i liked following the hints in the text to figure out what to do next.

This was fabulous. I love this style of storytelling and boy was it fun to seek out the story this way. Thank you for making this!

I normally don't go for games on the edge of psychological horror, but this one was _just_ creepy enough that I survived trying it. The writing was delightfully creepy, and I really enjoyed the novel take on text-based gameplay that had me scanning through text--both literally and figuratively.

OK so I didn't pay attention on stream cuz we were yapping... but I did now and this was great! The concept of deciphering the text with the tools you discover based on clues IN the text really peaked my curiosity. Then attaching some surreal narrative on top to give it some mood and incentive makes for little rewards unlocked regularly throughout the text. I'm imagining what you could do with the story this way and how visuals that you discover on the page could even be an interesting layer! Or audio even. Some cool creativity at play in what you've made.

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2756337981?t=04h17m32s)

This was legit a super fun puzzle experience to go through. The text-based nature of it weirdly reminded me a lot of the book House of Leaves. Well done!!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite concepts so far! Such a cool idea! Even though it was “just” text and sliders, you managed to create such a great atmosphere. Congrats on your game!

yanruyi 2026-04-27 16:42

I've never played this genre before, but it's so much fun! I'm really looking forward to seeing how you further polish and improve it.

scottyartt 2026-04-28 08:27

it is smth strange, like, it very innovate as for me and this is the reason why I don't understand anything haha

harujam 2026-04-28 08:37

Never seen or played something like this. Very unique concept for an abstract puzzle game. I enjoyed the gloomy dark mood

myezko 2026-04-28 08:38

pretty interesting

Every LD, there's that one unicorn game with a concept that blows my mind. This is that game. It's clearly just a POC, but I want it not to be so. It doesn't even render correctly using light mode (or any mode on Firefox), but I was still captivated.

When I don't record a gameplay video, I have a custom of posting the victory screen. Image uploads don't work right now, but [here it is](https://i.imgur.com/7S5c6i6.png).

Haven't played anything quite like that before! Really fascinating mechanic and the nature of the slow reveal over the course of the game was very nice. I always love when a game isn't just a game but if things sort of thematically tie into the experience of playing it. This is a really great example of that! Thanks again for playing and leaving feedback on Please Press Button! And congrats on finishing (not one but two titles)!

Nice and fun concept, good job!

Very cool idea. I like the story. A bit of ambient and it would be gorgeous.

rewzu 2026-05-07 19:22

That is a very interesting take on the theme! I really like the execution! It feels fresh and unique. Neat entry! :D
