I really struggled to understand what was going on but got there eventually. The art is fantastic though, gives me Hades vibes a little

Using the punch cards to determine the type and order of actions is clever. It felt like the enemies were coming so fast that I barely had opportunities to use any action besides offensive, but I did like that it forced me to really think hard about my next move. My high score was 36!

I didnt get anything

I get that it's an auto-battler but I couldn't understand how to pick a punchcard, how do they effect the battle?

z1biks 2026-10-19 12:20 ♥ 2

That's an interesting idea. At first, with the first monster, I didn't understand exactly how the order of actions was chosen. But by the second choice, I figured out how it works—though it would still be nice to add some kind of visual guide in the game to make it easier to understand.

I love the theming of the world and using a punchcard for an autobattler - it would have been cool to see it more utilized, if you had a box of cards to choose from!

There's a surprising amount of depth to this considering the simplicity. Choosing the right punchcard is really significant. I would have liked there to be the same amount of actions on every punchcard as having the most actions was always the right call. I'd also be interested to see how this plays out if after you choose between attack/defence/support you could just place the chads yourself. This game gave me a lot to think about and I liked it. Good stuff 🎱

I managed to gather 42 resources.

Interesting way of setting your rounds up with mode + punch card. It wasn't as clear in which order the actions would take place, I got it after noticing though.

I didn't like the jumping camera at all. I think it could've been better as zoomed out and slightly tilting to the side of action.

Visually good looking, unfortunately lacking in sounds or music. A laser hit, a chomp from ohmuTM and eerie ambience would've brought the game alive. Understandable they are not there though. It would have been the same for me if I submitted to COMPO.

Good work!

@coderaurus thanks for feedback. I just didn't manage SFX in time but I'm working on post-jam version @oddballdave wow, that your score is impressing! Thanks for you time and feedback 🙏

Thank you all, guys! COMPO is hard for sure so many features left behind unfortunately 😢

I struggled to understand it, maybe it's the explanations, maybe Im too dumb, anyway great art except for music.

I really like the visual style of this game. Using the punch card is quite clever. One possible improvement would be balancing the ennemy health ramp up or enabling damage upgrade while the offensive mode is selected.

The world-building for this fungal planet is genuinely striking, and the clash between the military corporation and the native insect inhabitants is a really cool concept. I liked the tension built into the extraction missions, forcing you to carefully plan each move. Great job on such a unique and visually atmospheric entry!

Hmm wonder what this took inspiration from haha. I managed to gain 33 resources on my first attempt, and then 48 on the second. After my two attempts I'm thinking the best strategy might be to target the high resource collecting and upgrading cards in order to prepare for stronger enemies, then maybe switch to offensive later on. (EDIT tried it and that was a nope lol, my worst attempt) Loved the graphics, the colors portray a neat atmosphere. I like the mechanics as well, I think they're more interesting the more I play and think about when I should use each card type. I think my main thought is it would be nice to see how much materials I've got as I play rather than waiting until the end to see how well I did. (though idk if I can say much, I did the opposite and didn't show the final score in my game which is probably worse lol)

@eugenik @eoshadows thanks for the detailed reviews, I really appreciate it 💕

Nice entry! The graphics were great, though they would have been even better with a little more juice added in the form of animations, particle effects, screenshake, etc.

The core gameplay loop is pretty interesting. While what exists in the compo entry is pretty barebones, I could easily see this expanded into a form of deckbuilder where you're assembling your own punch cards.

All in all very solid, nice work!

Cool idea! Extra kudos for the Ohmu from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind! Great work!

The idea is interesting; the style reminded me of Dicey Dungeons. It's cool that you need to mine ore and fight off enemies.

Interesting game, I didn’t expect to come across something like this at the jam. I’d be interested to hear your interpretation of the theme, but the game itself is interesting: it’s a good turn‑based strategy with pleasant visuals. It would be great to see an expanded version of this game after the jam. Good luck at the game jam! P.S. You can rate my game about an old terminal — I’d be grateful.

This game definitely requires tutorial for the future. It took me long time to understand. But once I've understood - good gameplay. I like the graphics, great potential
