The concept is actually really fun, would love to see what this would be like if you had some more time to develop it! Nice work

appoxgames 2025-10-05 23:06

Got a hang of it after a couple of tries. Not sure if there is a lose condition since those things did hit me. Either way, interesting idea and well done. Goodluck

paroxysmal 2025-10-05 23:29

I'm guessing there is no win/lose condition? See a lot of potential in a more fleshed out game. Well done.

immortalfox 2025-10-05 23:31

Unusual concept but not bad at any kind! Just a little more polishing and would be a great game! Thanks for your entry :)

soloadventurergames 2025-10-05 23:49

very well done, simple and clean

Nice game concept and cool spin on frogger games. The ghosts look good and I like the idea of having to multitask the process of sending off multiple boats. I'd be interested in seeing if you add to this idea.

Cool small game. The mechanic works well and is fun. A time limit would have been a quick way to make it more engaging. Sound is very low volume and seems to stop after a few sec, maybe not looping?

pincushion 2025-10-06 17:10

The multi-tasking twist on the frogger gameplay really works. I think there's no finish, imo it could be completed with a timer and a goal (ex. how fast can you get 100).

It looks good and the controls are fluid. I like that I can reverse the boat at any time to dodge a spirit fish thing.

Cheers to submitting when you're short on time. Nice job, despite it.

arkicade 2025-10-06 17:26

Glad you managed to submit something! A simple concept but the "multitasking" twist on frogger works and the "crossing souls to the afterlife" theming ties it together. I think the blue lines signalling the lane you're in could be brighter/more visible.

Thank you for making this game. Cool concept! A bit stretched on theme-matching but again thank you for the twist on the mechanic! I love it when simple, yet uniquely mechanics can give joy!

kazuren 2025-10-06 19:12

Simple but fun, would be really interesting with a timer like one of the other commenters said. e.g. You have 60 seconds to get 20 across etc.

threeli 2025-10-06 19:33

I do wish there was a little more to the entry, because the idea feels like it has lots of potential. The point is you got something done, it works, and it's enjoyable for sure!

The game reminds me of the old (1981?) title “Egg” or its soviet spin “Ну, погоди!”. Like the concept. Don't see a strong connection with the theme, but overall it's a working prototype. Would like to see a full game.

artificer 2025-10-06 20:13

I like dodging the serpents but I just send the boats back with no consequences so it's a loop of me doing the same thing 3 times then reloading. Cute little art style, glad you submitted!

gat 2025-10-06 20:31

Simple but fun

wolderado 2025-10-06 20:47

Pretty chill! I wish there was a way to increase tension and the stakes (maybe a timer?)

maxiney 2025-10-06 21:46

A very concise and clear game concept, highly playable and interesting!

georgeburg 2025-10-07 09:10

I was surprised that someone could think of such a concept! It would be great to see how the creator would make the final version of the game. Good job.

ellaris 2025-10-07 10:20

Simple yet charming, I liked the ghosts art, though sometimes there were too much shadow and the slower ones were pretty annoying, but it was very satisfying to get by then by a hair's length.

hugohil 2025-10-07 10:36

i mean it in the best way possible, but this is surprisingly very fun! you start with one lane, and then you understand you can work on others while its sliding across the screen, then there's a lot of projectile... a little polish and a more defined art direction, and you have a great game i could play for hours. great work!

zidan-banan 2025-10-07 12:06

The gameplay is simple, but very addictive! The difficulty balance is good. The fact that you have to manage three boats that test your micromanagement skills is super! Thank you for making the character collider smaller, so you can sometimes slip through shadows.

There's a slightly missing goal. For example, accumulating a certain amount. Or completing it within the allotted time.

You could also punish the player a little for losing a soul, since it's currently not a threat.

Thanks for playing, I've accumulated a hundred. 2025-10-07_14-55-35.png

Pretty interesting take on the Frogger concept. It definitely complicates things when you have to watch 3 different lanes at once. I enjoyed the challenge. Nice work!

avhatar 2025-10-08 07:49

Simple, but it gets the job done. I felt it was missing a bit of challenge — I wanted some kind of punishment for losing a passenger. Maybe a bit of gameplay acceleration as the game goes on — like ghosts grumbling about delays and crowding on the pier, bumping each other off so I’d lose points for being too slow. But overall, it’s a consistent piece of work, and I genuinely enjoyed ferrying the ghosts.

baluj 2025-10-08 11:50

It's a simple game that I've spent more time on than I'm willing to admit. Very nice game!

benjamin-gare 2025-10-08 17:26

Definitely felt like frogger. Happy to see a different take on it.

cataclysmicknight 2025-10-12 18:03

This is really neat. It was really an interesting twist on the classic, where you bounce the boats back and forth if caught in the middle and try to have all three running at the same time so you can be more efficient.

I think a timer or like a goal per "level" or something would be cool, to encourage people to keep playing, but this is a great foundation!

sevansevan 2025-10-20 23:15

Needs lots of APM =) that's nice! A timer of some sort (refreshing when someone crosses) could make it quite addictive :)
