Good entry. I did find some of the controls a little uncomfortable however and a little confusing where I should be going.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Mayan Dive

Good entry. I did find some of the controls a little uncomfortable however and a little confusing where I should be going.
Love the style and idea of this game, I just couldn't quite get it to work. Also found a fun little bug with the first little air pocket, swimming into it and spamming the shield drops you down to the bottom to be able to run around with infinite oxygen! Would love to see this one fixed up so I can play more of it!
Congrats on your first submission to Ludum Dare! I like the pixel art character of your game and the easy to pick-up gameplay.
While playing on the HTML5 version it seems I may have run into a bug or may not know what to do in order to progress beyond the first level of the game. When I go to what appears as an underwater doorway I cannot seem to enter by using any of the listed control keys on Itch. Shooting doesn't seem to be enabled either but I guess that might be because I haven't found an item I can use to shoot with?
Overall, it's great you to see you made a game with exploration, your own art and audio in under 48 hours!
The game look solid, props for finishing :) The character controls while swimming feel ok but on land/in rooms was really bad :< It was really hard to guess where would the player go when jumping, sometimes I would stick to places also.
