I like the games visuals and sound effects. The atmosphere is pretty scarry. There was sadly not much time to read the text. I was not able to get all the way to the end. Overall I liked the game.

The mood is pretty good, but like @jk5000 said, the texts disappear way too quickly to read them. Also, I'm not sure if it's my monitor or what, but mostly it was so dark that I couldn't see anything. Would love to give this another try if you can drop a post-compo build to slow down the texts. :)
Great idea, good mood and a very fine artstyle. For me it was way to dark, i could not really find everything. Only one tape. But I liked it a lot, cause controls worked fine.
@jk5000 Thanks for the feedback! Fun fact, but before the release I thought the text was somehow too long on the screen and in the latest version I increased the speed by 25% XD
@manabreak Thank you very much for playing my game! I wanted to not lose the atmosphere and not interfere with the player's navigation. I'm a little bit out of balance!
@psychomonster Thank you very much for playing my game! Yes, there may be an issue with player navigation due to the darkness and perhaps should have more explicitly illuminated the path for the player!
very fun, nice little creepy horror game :see_no_evil:
Couldn't see a thing, got stuck in the kitchen at one point and couldn't get out. But the vibe is great!
Some feedback about the lighting (that I've received many times myself), you can make a room feel dark through contrast and color choices, without actually make it pitch black. For example, it could be 50% lit up, but bright light from the TV or lamps could make some spots 100% lit up, and that would make the room feel dark. I struggled to see anything on a color-accurate sRGB monitor.
I do like what you were going for, despite only being able to find one tape. I was about to give up, but then I found the hidden door in the cabinet and was hooked again. It made me search around in the darkness for a few more minutes, but unfortunately couldn't make any progress.
Congratulations on finishing your first Ludum Dare!
@soloadventurergames Thank you!
@andrewkennedy Thanks for the feedback! this is the first time i make a game in this genre, so i missed the most basic things XD
I really liked the cabinet mechanic, it took me a bit to figure it out but once I did it was very cool, although at one point I believe I was teleported into a locked cabinet and became trapped. As a few others have said the scene was very dark and I couldn't really tell if there was nothing there or I was simply missing something. It's a very good start to a game.
This game give me chills
Challenging but great art and sound!.
The audio felt very immersive; it reminded me a bit of Silent Hill 4. Games this time around are killing it with their atmosphere, and this is no exception. The game did get a bit laggy for me at times, and I'm not sure what caused the performance issues. Given no one else has mentioned it, that may be an issue on my end. Good work!
Dang this one really sucked me in. I'm glad I tried a few more before the rating period ended or I might have missed this gem! Your set design and ambiance was so good, I was WAITING so hard for a jump scare to happen lol. Super immersive, fantastic atmosphere, short and sweet experience. A whole game in this style with a deeper narrative would be a Steam release. Great job!
Hey, nice game! Great visuals and well done atmosphere. Overall it's a good game, cool somber vibes. I just had a bit of an issue with the rain and the steps sfx, both of them sounded a little strange when they looped. The rain ended too abruptly and for the steps loop there was one step that was louder than the others. Congrats on your entry!
Very atmospheric game! I have finished it to the end. Advice to players, don't give up early, also you can jump. Check every drawers in case something changes, wink wink.

Advice to dev, add a ceiling... Or someone agile could crouchjump ;)
