@rascarcapackdev Yeah I forgot about changing the name of the html to index, it's fixed now!
I can see what's a good concept, and a start towards that, and a lot of pretty nice UI. The actual systems are a little incomplete still, like I don't see anything costing me upkeep, or any way to assign specific parties to missions or characters to parties or why I'd say no to any applicant ever.
@argensis Thanks! Yes there's no real progression implemented basically because I just didn't have time to implement it, that's why I left the debug buttons there for people to play with instantiation of new characters, missions and more. The cost upkeep is there but it's too shallow so it's barely noticeable. Also, you can't assign parties to missions as they are set up to volunteer themselves to take it (like on most fantasy stories, the parties are the one that decide to take missions instead of getting them assigned), you do control which missions you accept.
The most amount of work when to the character AI, there's probably around 1K lines of code that determine the behavior of characters (Each character has around 20 behavior stats like adaptability, tenacity, ambition, humility, etc.).
I can see a nice game, but for me it was a bit confusing understanding what to do and what all the tabs do. What does someone want to talk with you mean? Also I think you should make the font bigger, it's very hard to read.
There is not enough harem of girls and then there will be a simulator of the main character of anime fantasy
I think the problem with mixing a complex project such as this with the Dare time limit is that I really don't have an idea of what systems work and i don't know what they do, and which systems don't work and don't do anything.
You've got the skeleton of a great game here. I do agree with other folks that the UI is a bit complicated, and the learning curve is a bit steep; this game would definitely benefit from a tutorial. The music is solid, and the systems here are ambitious. I'd definitely encourage you to continue working on this game. I'd love to see how it could turn out. Solid job!
Game with great, I think you should improve it! But as others I recommend add more art eye-candy! Good luck
