I won! I think this was a neat concept. It was really satisfying when I'd happen to get a couple words spelled out in a row. Nice job!

Simple, but fun mechanic. I liked the hints you get when you spell extra words. i did not understand why it would not take furbie as a pet creature, but that's a toy. On the last level I almost gave up, the reward did not seem worth it.
Great game. Could definitely imagine my mom playing it on her tablet, like wordle.
I really appreciate the 'Extra Words' feature. Sometimes, my initial thought is that certain words don't fit the question description, but they often end up helping me make progress in cracking the password. Great game!
Great game! Adding the hint system and the Audio feedback for correct responses made the game much more enjoyable than it would have otherwise been. :)
simple but fun =D dwarf moment was hilarious ngl)) great work!!
This is a nice simple concept. I love that it accepts extra words!
Simple & effective kinda Wordle game. Nice sound playback, idea of extra world adds some variety in game process. Well done!
Hehe it felt a bit retrofitted to the theme but I really like how the overall game works, being weak to word puzzles.
As an enjoyer of wordle i really liked your take on the word-game genre! well made :)
As someone playing Wordle, PlusWord, Squaredle etc. every day it is refreshing to see a word game here in Ludum Dare! The theme feels a bit hamfisted but otherwise I enjoyed it! The only thing I'd change is maybe gray out the used letters instead of removing them - you lose the ability to construct various bonus words when they are removed.
Well done!
nice game design,I spent a lot of time on this game

Super solid game. Both frustrating and fun!
I can see myself playing this on my phone every day as people do with wordle. Will you expand it or create a full game from it? The idea is great, gj!
I really like the idea. I'ts actually really fun and very well executed. Good job!
Good job!
Very fun puzzle and addictiv!
finally, a word game! love these games, so i'm glad you included bonus words. loved the sound effects as well. nice job~
This game is so cool! I loved it!
for a compo game it's really impressive
Thanks for this clever game and take on theme! I liked extra words giving you a hint, and chuckled when at some point hint generated other hint. Last level was hard for non-native speaker, on the other hand, with enough dedication it can be bruteforced. sw.png
This was fun. Sweet, tiny level themes. I felt rewarded as I progressed through a level, since reducing the combinations made it simpler :)
I don't think you should have opted out of graphics. It's a clean-looking game.
@pincushion Awww - thanks for appreciating the clean aesthetic. I was worried it would come across as unfinished, but I did try to choose my spacing and colors and animations carefully. Thank you for mentioning that :)
English is my second language, so this was harder to play. That said, I love word puzzles, so I was hooked from the beginning. The 6 letters word felt easy to guess just by looking at the grid, or maybe it's because pets are easier than what the theme was for 4
I was wondering if there were algorithmic challenges while playing (like a word you would not have to see coming that could be formed but not a "valid" one). I am guessing that's most probable around 4/5 letters. edit: I saw the Extra word thing
The flat graphic (reading the comment above) is nice for this kind of entry. It inspired me so much that it prompted me to do a 30-minute session of fiddling in Krita on how I would have done it. But that may be insensitive to share!
Great job!
simple and objective.
Congratulations!
PS: because I don't know English very well, I had to ask my son for help.
PLZ turn this into a web game on the New York Times site k thx.
I love the extra word sounds 😎. The concept is simple and it's so easy to play. Loved it.
