Very cool game and the game's mechanics are interesting and the character is very cute!
Interesting puzzle game with the shrinking mechanism. I like the clean pixel graphics and the levels in themselves. Only the pressure pad sound effect was irritating, hurt my ears even from speakers.
Good job!
@vitalina Thank you!
@coderaurus Thanks! Wow that pressure plate sound is bad, there was definitely some sort of audio glitch going on because it did not sound like that in the editor
For future players I've re-exported the audio and uploaded a new build so your ears don't have to experience that horror!
Played through all the levels, and it was fun coordinating between the three characters. I especially love that color palette, how did you end up with those colors?
Nice puzzle game with cute pixel art. It's interesting that pets has different abilities. May be you could even get away with only 2 keys for controls, since C and V usually mutually exclusive? However that may be not case if you add more items. Wondering what happens with shrunken keycard while pet cannot drop it.
@sudocoffee The colours are all from one of that palettes that comes with Aseprite, I believe it's this one: https://lospec.com/palette-list/aap-64. Glad you liked the colour choices though. I wasn't so sure about the green walls when I first added them but they definitely grew on me!
@gdman Combining the pick up and drop controls is an excellent idea for reducing complexity and definitely near the top of the list if I end up working on this again!
Very nice puzzle game! It's clear what you have to do and quite easy to figure out, but still feels very satisfying. The shrink mechanic was real nice, and the polish is very good. Finished all levels and felt it was a nice experience :D Great job :)
haha cute little game! You really made me feel like a cat, climbing things and hitting things :P Awesome entry!
Incredible puzzle game. Could use some more complexity, would love to see more levels.
The puzzles were easy but pretty fun! The caged card one in particular demonstrated how the elements could be used to create multi step problems if given more time to design levels. The controls felt a bit awkward to use, but otherwise a nice game!
Cute! Managed a few interesting puzzle levels in there, especially the last two.
This game was super cute & I love the idea of having different characters have different abilities. Also, the sound effects were nice. The inventory for bob seems to show up for the cat too which was a little confusing at first. Also, it might be nice with some music. I especially liked the shrink mechanic & found the cat hitting things to be funny. Great job!
Nice little Puzzle game, i like the idea behind it. The graphics are pretty clean and done well. There were a good amount of levels and it was fun switching between all characters. Has a lot of potential for more levels (hopefully some harder ones :D)
My suggestions: - i would increase the walking speed of the characters a little bit - as someone already suggested: you could potentially merge C+V into one action
Overall a great entry. I would love to play an extended version in the future
Cute puzzler. I very much agree with @voodinator - I would love increased walking speed. To add to the list of suggestions, I also think that using A, S and D (or 1, 2 and 3, etc.) to choose characters would work better, because right now you need to remember the switching order and it's a bit frustrating if you click through the character you just wanted to move.
Really liked the game, I love how it made me make the cat climb the shelf in the first level for no reason, and on the second level I had the dog bring the card to the guy, because that's how it should be, and then I noticed he could have just went there to pick it up himself. Not sure if all the buttons were necessary, it was a little confusing at first where you could have probably just have an interact button, but maybe there was some charm in it.
This was really cute, creative, and nicely made. I enjoyed the puzzles and would love to have had even more. The art is very good, I always enjoying seeing well made pixel art, and your character designs are great! The only thing I found a bit frustrating was the x,c,v controls. I struggled a bit to use these keys in the right order as I don't normally use them in games (space, e and f might feel a bit more natural for qwerty keyboard users) but I did eventually get used to them. Great work for a weekend compo entry, no bugs, it feels complete, and has a nice clean UI. You should definitely do a post-jam version with some more levels.
Excellent game. Nice set of puzzles and I like the 3 characters each having their own specialties.
This probably sounds weird, but your game reminds me of the Possession mechanic in Dishonored! Completely different vibe, but that "using one creature's uniqueness to solve puzzles" tactic is an interesting one, and I really like how you used it!
Fun puzzle game, nice use of the different characters types working together, liked how you even gave the cat and dog a way to the exit even though they technically didn't need it (level 4 i think)
Cute little game! I missed some visual indication on the selected character itself and some music but other than that I liked the game. Congrats!
Really fun puzzle game, not too difficult and you ramped up difficulty in a very smooth way. Some more polish and juice would've been amazing, but overall great entry!
cute puzzle game, would be nice to add a story to it, do you know the game I Became a Dog? it reminds me of it. good luck!
