The game is simple but frantic and fun! The galaxy collapsed on me at around 80% but I wasn't sure why. A little more feedback on that would've been nice, but otherwise nice work!
I enjoyed my first playthrough, only thing I would change is maybe the vessels could look a little different to be easier to tell them apart. As well as which planets skill preferences could be seen easier? 10/10 great fun though.
Having the ships stats be visible underneath them when choosing which to send out would be useful, especially the first time.
Compact and charming, nicely finished. Simple but elegant. The way the audio and graph work together is ingenious—it really nails the atmosphere for the Signal theme. Though I found the text style a little difficult to read at times—might just be my eyes adjusting. Overall, well done!
I almost died at 92%, but I managed to win! I’m not really sure if a specific stat was better for a planet, but I’m happy I survived!
I won with about 85% chaos, which felt pretty comfortable. The beginning of the game definitely has the most tension, but as the game goes on and your ships get more competent it loses a bit of that bite, although since other people ended up losing maybe I just got very lucky. The strategy I went for is to have each ship specialize in two skills, but without overlapping completely with other ships.
The biggest thing I can say is that the game is very fun. There is enough to think about and enough strategy availabe that I was engaged the whole time.
Have fun out there!
Neat game, with interesting procedural-style graphics, and bg music. Stress signals everywhere and only you can save the whole galaxy. Won at 95% chaos, whew, I guess I wasn't paying much attention to ship stats and tried leveling them equally good, probably should specialize. Good luck.
Really novel idea, barely lost the first time but played again to complete the game!
Nice idea. I like that the game is rather forgiving and allows you to win even with as much as 92% chaos  I'm not sure if there's a bug, but if I clicked on a planet without having any ship to send, it seemed like I got stuck there until some other ship return with resources which triggered it to switch screens.
I saved the galaxy. You're welcome.
This game does a good job of reinforcing urgency. I wasn't very strategic with upgrades and was able to float by, which is probably for the best with a gamejam entry, but it could be cool to see what would happen with a bit more thought put into what I upgrade being required to succeed.
Good, clear graphics that are intentionally simple and clear. There wasn't any guesswork or clutter.
The music does a good job of setting the mood, I wish it wasn't hit as hard by the sound effects. I'd recommend lowering the sound effects volume for this type of thing in the future so it doesn't overpower the music quite so much.
Nice game! I had 3 alerts popping up at the same time and the sound effect was really loud. Apart from that it was all good (well, as good as a 70% chaotic galaxy can be). My strategy was to make jacks of all trades, always upgrading from right to left except the red ship (from left to right) because it looks more dangerous. I agree that maybe, having on-demand access to ship stats would be nice. And maybe some funny little text for each mission, depending on its required stats :D
Neato. A bit more agency and informed decision making would make for a good time waster. I agree with the previously mentioned statement that the SFX were considerably louder than the background music which was actually pretty good.
At first, I thought, “This game is impossible!”, but I managed to beat it on my first try, and it's really satisfying :) I like that the ships get better stats after each mission, which makes the conflict resolve a little faster! Well done!
