The particle effects are really cool.
I really like it. I think it fits the theme well.
I couldn't read the books through the timer. Otherwise, nice game.
I liked it, but sometimes the enemies would jump off the board and then you could not progress into the next level. I also used Godot to make my game, I think it's fun to see other people also using it.
@parker-nalch, I did realize that you could potentially just click until you got enough resources. I thought that maybe it was impossible to click fast enough, but I didn't have time to test that theory. Having a third resource type is a good idea. I might build a second version of the game sometime and include that.
Nice. I found that I could follow the prompt with WASD, then add some flourishes with the arrow keys (at least at pokey speed). The only problem is that I was so busy watching the prompts that I couldn't also watch Ol' Limberlegs do his dance.
In order to win, you have to get control of everyone (I find that it takes a while). If I had had more time, I would have added health bars for the enemies so that you could see if you were making progress.
Good game! I really liked the progression of the houses, from tent to house to apartment to high-rise.
The high-score board is awesome! I'd love to see how you accomplished that.
I didn't see the inventory for the first couple minutes of gameplay. Did I miss something?
Other than that, it's a neat little puzzle game! I like all the unique people. Especially belt man.

I'm sorry that it's not very intuitive. I'll update the game information to try and give a better introduction.
I definitely did not polish it as much as I wanted to. Around 5:30 on Sunday I realized that the compo ended at 6:00 instead of 9:00. At that point, I was mostly just glad to be able to publish it.
FYI, I don't get any errors/infinite loading when I try to play the game.
Nice game! I enjoyed trying to time my attack to hit the enemy before the enemy hit me. Or when two were coming, hit one, block the other, and then hit him. The tactics! Thanks!
Neat idea! I had a problem where I would plan out a level (level two in my case), then I would click the "act" button and nothing would happen. However, once I gave up, the next level was available. Other than that, I quite enjoyed the game and the little messages of enlightenment that come up when you finish the level.
The dynamic lighting is pretty cool. At one point, I pressed the fullscreen button, but it didn't work correctly. All I saw was blackness. I wonder if it resized the canvas to zero, because even after exiting fullscreen I couldn't see the game.
Those squelching jump sounds are great.
Great game! I really liked the glowing dots and fins on the anglerfish and the subtle water effect over the screen.
That was beautiful. The colors, parallax, and little rectangle man were perfect.
Very cool. I wish I could see how much food it costs to place a tile, but otherwise I like how tight it is and how you can destroy your own buildings.
I really like the art for the action icons, with the blueish streaking when you use them.
That is really impressive for a 48-hour project. Nice job!
