Sorry, but game didnt load on itch
I think it has slightly too much text.
I couldn't read the books through the timer. Otherwise, nice game.
Oh no I couldn't get out of the first room. Darn. Do you have any tips for a newbie?
@gevernus There was a problem with the 2020 version. If you want to try it again it should work now.
@tero-pulkkinen @apg The text was more involved than I had originally hoped. The story was thrown together at the end. Thanks for trying the game!
@fabdynamic Thanks for trying the game. In the first room you can search the cryopods by using spacebar to interact with objects.
The story is ok, reminds me of that movie "Pandorum" (2009). Not directly, maybe by the mood. I don't know why.
And the 'loop' twist plays great.
The graphics is not fantastic, but good enough to not distract.
But little bugs make it harder to play:
-When you go near the wall you can't turn to the door, so it may confuse that it does not react to action button while in reality it does, you just need to take a step back from the wall.
-When you trade keycard for toolbox or crowbar, the trade is not always happened. Probably when I don't move mouse and it keep 'selected' buttons from previous exchange. Unity UI bug. But maybe not, it is just my theory.
And I am not quite understand who speaks to me after the loop. I didn't finish the game though, maybe it is explained somewhere.
Nice idea that fits perfectly the theme! When reading the book with the password I could not read the password because of the Timer on the top right screen (web version).
Controls are a bit annoying, because you cannot turn to an object if you are already directly besides it, forcing you to move away, then back, wasting precious seconds.
Also, the passcode is unreadable, preventing me from progressing further: ld47_imminent-danger_passcode-obstructed.png
Nice idea, good execution. I got nothing more to add that haven't been mentioned above already. Main thing is what @godsboss said. The controls were a bit annoying having to jiggle back and forth all the time.
Really great game that fits the theme, just one game-breaking issue that others have mentioned: The passcode for the engineer's terminal is obscured by the gui, so it isn't possible to access it to (I assume) redirect power so that you can activate the navigation system. Other than that, I think you have created a very neat game. Good work!
Nice game! The main mechanic works well, and I liked that it showed your actions in reverse rather than just teleporting you back to the start. The graphics were alright, but could use improvement. For example, the player could do with some animations.
Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the game because I couldn't read the passcodes because they were behind the timer and item (at least on the web version on a 1366x768 monitor). Although that was the only "major" issue I had.
A more minor issue I had was (as others have also pointed out) that if you went close to a wall you couldn't turn in the direction of the wall. It was also a bit stressful reading while on a timer. By the time I had finished reading the story after the first loop I had 80 seconds remaining. Maybe the timer should be paused while you're reading. But despite the flaws I still think it was good!
Got an impressive amount of stuff in here! A lot of interactions and stuff. Some of the text wasn't readable behind the icons in the top right.
The game was surprisingly complete! I feel like if the goal is for the player to try to finish as fast as possible within the time limit, then a lot of things could be streamlined (smoother hitboxes, skipping text, making it easier to interact with things). As it is, I would get reset more often than I wanted because I spent so much time fiddling with the little things.
Had the same passcode issue as others mentioned.
That's impressive to have a "deep" (I mean, for 48hours, it is ^^) story in a game jam. Like it was said before, the fact that it's not possible to read the passcode somehow killed the game. But you got something that you could definitely push further in a post-jam version.
The visuals are ok for a jam, you quickly understand what everything is. Now I wished there were some music and sound effects. As I advise to everyone in this case, when you are 2 hours away from the deadline and don't have a music yet, the best way you can use those two hours is by making that music. Even if it's 8 notes in a loop, it really helps creating a better experience!
Some texts you find in the lockers are funny and that humorous touch is really nice!
Nice entry, hope to see more of it!
I had a bit of a problem with movement, some things were unreadable, as has been written in other comments, it's also a pity that there is no sound and music, but overall I'm pretty impressed, thumbs up :)
That was cool, I loved the idea! As the other mentionned some of the text was hidden by the UI and not readable. It would also have been nice to be able to skip dialogs you already know, like the character always assumes it's his pod while he did that all the loops before. I managed to finish the game by just setting the coordinates, but I feel like I missed some of the necessary steps, like I did not found how to repair the broken system, I found instructions and the toolbox but I did not have to actually had to repair it to escape, not sure it was intended. Also the game told me I escaped in 0 loops while I must have done at least a dozen  But I had fun playing the game, and I loved the rewind effect when a loop restarted. The graphics are nice and the fact to be in a constant 2 minutes loop add a lot of pressure. Well done!
