Unfortunately, the game crashed on me. There should be a way to skip the opening sequence. The text scrolling effect was a really nice touch though, I just wish that level of polish was applied to the rest of the game.

Also sorely lacking music which is unfortunate

Oh I see you can click to move through the starting sequence quicker that works. The game seemed to work better when I tried on chromium, or maybe it's cause I stopped running full screen.

This is a great concept for a rougelike, I was hooked on this!
It's also mobile friendly as well, try releasing it on the app store if you can.
I really liked the grayscale theme and artwork! I think some sound effects at minimum would serve to improve the experience a lot, but I understand it can be hard to get all these things added during the crunch. Overall I thought the game was fun and had a great flow. I'd like to see it expanded on. Nice job!
The pixel art here is good, especially the main area with the wells and stone pillars. If there's one thing I'd recommend, it's that some of the UI elements could use more detail to help the player understand the game state. For example, greying out the abilities if one has already been used this turn, or adding symbols next to the health and defense bars to make it clearer what they represent.
Otherwise, it's neat trying to balance health and defense on both my character and the enemy. The cinematic text scenes are a nice touch.

nice vibe overall, i liked the tone of it. yeah some sfx or music would help a lot, but it’s already pretty immersive
It's not a bad game, it's got a good idea and design, but it's going hard.
I really like the art for the action icons, with the blueish streaking when you use them.

Nice game idea! I liked that you had to choose between abilities. Kind of reminded me of other themes that were in the voting. Is there a reason you need to confirm the end of your turn? I thought you can always only do one action anyway with no option to undo.
