Really liked the chunky graphics and gameplay. gj

Really liked the chunky graphics and gameplay. gj
Very fun game loop, especially enjoyed the slowing rot mechanic. Wish there was something to spend the money on.
Unfortunately I couldn't play this game - apparently the .zip was invalid?
Got to level 6 before I gave up. Was fun and fit the theme well. Seemed like the rat had repeatable behaviour but I wasn't sure what it would do on each level so I had to figure that out before I could solve it. Perhaps a directional indicator of some kind could have helped a lot?
The presentation is fantastic! Perfectly captures the vibe of saturday morning cartoon. Great little memory game. I like :)
As you say, it's tough but I really like the graphics and simple but satisfying gameplay. Definitely has room for improvement but the base is really solid. Good job! :)
This game looks great and love the audio. I think the UI could be improved to help with understanding. Good job!
I just spammed the arrow keys and got through it. I didn't really understand. I kinda like the lofi aesthetic.
It was pretty satisfying to connect everyone although I felt my resources were not sufficient to keep everyone happy :(
I didn't play the multiplayer so I am not sure if that changes the gameplay in a significant way.
What you have here is a small sokoban game with confusing levels. I finished the first but couldn't seem to move the letters in the second one.
Super cool, very intuitive. Bonus points for the gnome.
Great game with cute art and interesting core gameplay mechanic. I liked it a lot :)
Nice lil puzzle game - did you prototype this in puzzlescript? As others say, it would be great if the arrows move a bit faster but otherwise I really enjoyed this. Good job!
I had this running in the background for a bit and it's pretty fun like all incremental games are. I'm confused if actual words are being decrypted though. Was fun - good job! :)
I liked the overall gameplay idea but think it may be a little too random generating the resources as I tried a few times and kept running out of energy/never had enough to stun the enemy. Also as this is turn based, I think it looses a lot of tension when the monster is supposed to be "eldritch", maybe a funny/goofier enemy would have been better.
Overall, nice game. I enjoyed it! :)
Great all around; art, sound, music, gameplay are all top notch. Perhaps, there is too much text/dead time but at least we get a ball lol.
Ball is life.
Nice job, good game :)
I think the idea behind this game is really great. Such a cool idea to make a strategy game. I really like the music and the art works really well for what it is.
As I couldn't play this with someone in local play, I think it suffered playing against the AI which didn't make much sense. Additionally, I had completely wiped them about but had to keep playing for a few more minutes just moving until I covered the map. Maybe an early win condition if you remove all their troops?
Overall, I really liked this and would love to see it expanded on. :)
The controls on the UI were a bit dodgy, nice job generating the game! :)
Simple, well made, cute art, easy to learn - I liked it.
Short and sweet. Great sounds and mood. Nice!
Has a great vibe - reminds me of Papers Please in a good way. With some more polish on the UI this would be as close to perfect as a jam game gets.
This got a good chuckle out of me. I like the gfx and sfx. It's a bit unfair that robots spawn on top of each other sometimes, having a buffer around would be good. Also feels like the robot collider is a lil bit too big.
This is definitely a highlight of the jam for me. Nice game!
I like the mechanics of this game and how you have to balance the cleaning trash and moving lazers. There is a fun tension there. I think the levels are slightly too large and should be more focused on individual mechanics, especially at the beginning of the game.
Adding sound effects and undo would improve this game a lot.
Overall, this is a very good puzzler, I had fun! :)
Definitely feels like a "zen experience" with very nice visuals. Some calmer music and clearer interactions would make this a great game to chill to. I liked it a lot :)
@mekuire @hajpappan I would have liked to add some music but ran out of time :'(
@foxecho thanks for the comment, yes I agree the screenshake definitely is too much - I will work on reducing it
@avi thanks for the video, it's super useful :)
@penagwin I definitely need to add some screenshots, thanks for the reminder
@lanatra yes I definitely was aware of that (it is why the player's splatter lasts significantly less than the enemies). I think it adds to the challenge in a fun way but can understand it would be a bit frustrating.
@roroto-sic thanks, getting past 60s is what I consider the "win" state. I have seen scores of up to 3.7k :o
@avhatar woah! nice job. I think you must been in top 3 players ;)
I agree that some progression mechanics would be nice but I am unsure how to go about that. I am in process of updating it a little to rebalance a few things and add some music.
I wonder if anyone will hit 4k...
@avhatar interesting game, I think I may go more along the lines of Devil Daggers with no progression but I've not made up my mind yet.
well done on the score, definitely top 1 now lol
@henk yes there's definitely some balancing to be done
This is pretty fun. I wish the opponent's hand were told to us completely, e.g: I had pair of queens and they beat with me with either pair or kings or pair or aces but the game only said "pair".
Overall, it was really fun to read their reactions and bet accordingly. Good job! :)
super fun! this could definitely be a great roguelike with some more work
great art!
Very nice art and music.
I thought this game has a great central mechanic where you have to keep inside your signal radius. However, it felt a bit punishing to be spawn outside of the ring in some levels and have the ring move faster than you sometimes.
Overall, this has a great arcade vibe and I enjoyed it a lot. Good job!
I couldn't get this to launch :(
wow, super polished. love the animations.
btw, i played a bit on the ludum dare website but there was no sound. there is sound on itch. not sure if this is a ldjam.com issue or not...
