Really cool concept! Took me a couple attempts to get the hang of positioning myself since you inadvertently move whenever the paddle moves - finally ~~won~~ survived on the 3rd playthrough when all the bricks got destroyed. Was hoping the paddle would run out of lives but never really got close - is that also a win?
Fun for how simple it is - though I do think it was a tad too long for the amount of content, a couple more mechanics to keep things spicy would go a long way. The gravity powerup was cool though, I don't think I've seen that in a Breakout clone before. Good work!
very very cool concept. I sort of feel like there's something missing from the gameplay but I really like the idea and it ties in with the theme beautifully
love the way the text and arrow is displayed in the intro as well. VERY nice stuff

Game inside the game. Very unique concept, well done! It is too simple, but then it is becomes boring cuz of lack of mechanics(
Keep working on the game! its a good idea

amazing game! The concept is really unique and original! It took me a long time to learn how to control the character, but when everything finally came together, it was a real triumph! The game is very simple, but that's what makes it fun. I would add a few more mechanics to make the game even more exciting, but overall, this is a great job! 👏

Woaw, this is very unique and original idea, I love it! I think it's the first time I'm "not playing" while playing, and it's quite challenging :).
Really great entry, top notch for the originality and theme aspects (and humor too!).
If you're looking for suggestions: - Maybe you should make a 1st level with less bricks so it's shorter, in order to "hook" players into the game. Right now the level is quite long, and thus the game is challenging. It could be better with a first level displaying for example half of the bricks you have now. And then you can offer more levels after that. - The game definitively needs a catchy music (or a 80's arcade music) :)
Great work on this entry, I hope you keep working on it!
Super creative, from the name of the game to the concept. really enjoyed it :)

Really cool take on breakout, I got squished so much. Great entry!
This was awesome, and more tense than most horror games I've played (not that I play many horror games). Every time the "player" got the split-ball upgrade, I got a small adrenaline rush as the meteors started raining down.
Always felt like I had a path to dodge if I was fast/accurate enough, rather than feeling totally random. It was nice touch to have the paddle (almost) always stop a little before the ball gets there, to give the player a little time to adjust.
Got into a situation where it seemed like it might have been a soft lock (the ball was bouncing a few times in the same corner at the same angle), but there was enough randomization somewhere to break it out of the loop. Also had one situation where the ball swept across the top of the paddle, causing an un-dodge-able squish. Maybe it should only detect a squish when the paddle gets hit?
This one's a whole lot of fun, definitely my favorite game this jam so far.
