CAN'T OPEN

gat 2025-10-07 15:21

Was unable to launch

faust-mi 2025-10-09 22:25

I really liked the preview! The artist is great! It's a shame I couldn't launch the game. =*(

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 15:58

We're so sorry to the 3 reviewers who downloaded a buggy executable! The issue should be fixed now (: @antarktis @gat @faust-mi

dualithe 2025-10-10 18:34

The game is very pretty and polished, unfortunately I couldn't get to the third object. Full marks for getting a mechanic to fit the theme, even though it's a narrative device and not directly part of the gameplay.

tunggd 2025-10-10 18:44

The art and music are great, but I just don't understand how the game works and don't know how to get past the first 2 entries of the journal.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 18:51

@tunggd Yeah, I can understand how it's a bit convoluted! The journal entries give you clues as to how to advance or what to do next. Try feeding the crabs a lot of jellys

alexandra-suprunovskaya 2025-10-10 18:51

Beautiful game — the graphics are top-notch! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get into the red zone or the area on the right :( But overall, it looked pretty good!

topteddy 2025-10-10 18:52

Couldn`t get the king to do anything.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 18:53

@dualithe Try grabbing the green jellies with 'E' and feeding them to the crabs! Or choose your favorite grab and give him all the jellies hehe something probably happens.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 18:55

@alexandra-suprunovskaya Thank you! The crabs help you get into the other areas once they morph into something else. Try feeding them the jellies

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 18:55

@topteddy The king doesn't really do a lot up until the end hehe

alexandra-suprunovskaya 2025-10-10 19:05

@kapricorn-media I fed the crabs about 10 different jellies, but they didn’t transform. If you stop feeding them, they turn back into small ones (

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 19:10

@alexandra-suprunovskaya You gotta feed i think it's 4-5 to one single crab and then he'll transform. It can get a bit tough since they turn back you are right!

someone 2025-10-10 19:14

Haha, I loved that ending. It took me a while to unlock some of the visions, but I got there eventually. The puzzles where well thought out and I love the art style. Great job.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 19:18

@someone glad you liked it and reached the end haha!

atsh 2025-10-10 19:32

Really unique graphics and moody atmosphere!

I needed the hint from the comments to figure out how to start, and I was able to progress until the red crab, wook him up, and than I got stuck

I think there were some elements that made the game less accessible than it should. The hint about overfeeding seem obvious in hindsight, but maybe for the first puzzle you want to teach the basic gameplay - that you need to attract the crabs to all sort of places. Again, the sound was there, but me and others didn't seem to get it.

It was also annoying to feed the single crab, as many tried to eat at the same time. I would consider removing the number of crabs, and/or reducing the number of gelatin needed to become large.

Also I would make the hitbox of the crabs that same as the player, so they can move through the same spaces - many times crabs got stuck for me. I would also make them the same speed as the player so that leading them to places is more fluent (and make the lighting crab chase you less - thankfully dying is not a big deal, but I would make it even more forgving)

Giving a lot of feedback just because the game is really unique, and deserve more plays!

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 19:38

@atsh Woah, thanks for taking the time to give us feedback of such high quality! Tons of value here so we can tweak things a bit more.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-10 21:13

We made small tweaks to the Journal text so people can get a bit farther into the game without having to come and read the comments.

gastoon 2025-10-11 06:43

Great job ! I was first impressed by the quality of the introduction. I like this concept that you have to discover everything about the place where you are. Glad I found everything by myself (the description of the found items helps a lot). Feed the crabs isn't so hard when you isolate one of them, but when they can't be fed the amount of jellies quickly increases so run the crabs becomes harder. I was also shocked that the game quits brutally after the last cinematic !

jscommander 2025-10-11 11:17

Beautiful visuals and unique art style really stand out - the atmosphere is top-notch.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-12 00:08

@gastoon @jscommander Thank you much! 😭

d3kryption 2025-10-12 00:42

I'm glad you patched it not working. The game was actually pretty epic. I love the artwork. Great job! :D

kapricorn-media 2025-10-12 00:46

@d3kryption Thanks for coming back to check! I'm glad you enjoyed it and found it EPIC (:

rionisse 2025-10-12 20:44

Your art style gives off massive Moebius vibes — loved it! Are there multiple endings? Something ate my king, but there was still a big chunk of the journal undiscovered, so I guess it was a bad ending.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-12 22:12

@rionisse Just one other ending that you found! We're glad you loved it!

felix-kern 2025-10-13 09:07

Wow, loved the graphics and art style. Really well done, also the little animations, when the rocks are getting destroyed :) I got to the part, where I had the electrified rock, but then I was stuck. I was standing under the clouds with it, but nothing happened and so I couldn't wake the red crabs :( But till then it was really fun to figure out how to progress and the book entries where helpful too :) Great job overall!

xeridian 2025-10-14 00:27

Loved the artwork!! Such beautiful colors and execution!

xeridian 2025-10-14 00:28

Any chance you alls will be making a browser based version of this?

keys-presser 2025-10-14 10:52

The atmosphere and art of your game are sooooo cool! And it's great that you've managed to realize the potential for an interesting ecosystem. I hope you release a version with more content!

basmet 2025-10-14 16:54

I really enjoyed this one! Unfortunately, I was not able to get the last discovery. I tried bringing all the red crabs close to the pools, so that the pool crab wakes up next to the king and eats the king, but I was not able to make it work as I only had 2 red crabs. The art was amazing!

shaggy 2025-10-15 17:38

Amazing graphics!

a4po 2025-10-15 17:44

Really high quality graphics and music! I liked the character designs, atmossphere and the concept of these creatures. Maybe I'm dumb but the gameplay loop felt didn't feel intuitive and it could have used some fun challenges. NPC interacting SFX gave some humour points to you - EPIC! Overall good and impressive game!

amande-dooce 2025-10-16 11:56

I LOVE the Moebius'esque inspiration and artstyle it's beautiful. The mood of the game is perfectly balanced between the sound design and the very effective graphic art. Sadly I didn't manage to finish the game in it's entirety, I got stuck on the last encyclopedia page, but I thought that the "enemy" interactions and concepts were pretty intuitive to follow with the guide pages. I also laughed a lotthe first time my king died eaten by the gigantic water-worm. I loved it and would have played several more hours on this game had it had a bigger map and different biomes to explore. :D Thank you for the great game experience !

anima-animus049 2025-10-17 07:47

Really beautiful game! I love the atmosphere, the quality of music is also very high

kapricorn-media 2025-10-17 15:28

@felix-kern Thanks for playing! Glad you like the animations also, they're the pride and joy of our visuals guy - and you were so close to finishing it!

@xeridian Thanks! No plans for a web version, but we're in the talks of making this a full game maybe haha

@keys-presser We would absolutely love to continue working on this. There's just something about bestiaries that moves me haha, maybe it's playing FF12 early in my life.

@basmet I'm glad you enjoyed it! You actually got close to a secret ending hehe

@shaggy Thank you (:

@amande-dooce Glad to hear it's intuitive in some parts! One of our biggest challenges (and I think in general too) is to make the game not a complete esoteric mystery and have it be something that can be fun. Oh and that was the secret ending! haha glad you got it. I appreciate your comment, it really makes us want to continue developing the game.

@anima-animus049 thanks so much! (I'm the music guy)

yibirabbit007 2025-10-18 02:38

Um, I guess most players get stuck here: you didn't make it clear what to do after breaking the stone, especially which item needs to be placed with the king (actually, I had to run all over the map to realize it could only be placed with the king).

屏幕截图 2025-10-18 102838.jpg

You’d better add an explanation that Red Amber (it seems that is the name) is given to the king, and only then can the final ending be achieved.

kapricorn-media 2025-10-19 15:25

@yibirabbit007 Thanks for the feedback! Agreed, there's a lot we need to clarify after breaking the stone. We'll be tweaking some of these things once ratings are over. Giving the amber to the king is actually an unintentional easter egg - you're just supposed to "re-hydrate" it in any of the pools above. We should def clarify that in the description.

ginger-kyoko 2025-10-23 23:10

Hi! The graphics are really cool, they reminded me of an artist called Moebius! Very cool! I also want to say how much I loved the soundtrack. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it properly because it kept crashing on PortProton on Linux, but it still deserves high marks! The only thing is, at the very beginning, I was only able to figure it out thanks to the comments, haha. Good luck with your future development!
