The game complained about several missing DLL files and could not run. Hopefully you have time to fix while people can still vote.

naarakah 2017-08-02 15:34

What DLLs are missing exactly ? It should be fixed now.

Very cool mechanic and gameplay overall. In my opinion though the game doesn't make use of the theme as much as it should. Great work anyway, keep it up!

nanolotl 2017-08-03 08:38

Simple but fun. It might have been nice to have a bit more contrast between the particles in the fields and the background colours. It was quite straining to make out the flow direction.

cihy 2017-08-03 08:58

Those blue fields are not visible enough. The game is very nice, but I don't where is the "running out of power" part.

The concept of this game was really cool. The physics worked great and I thought it was fun. I would have enjoyed more/harder levels but that's totally understandable given the limited time. All around a good game. Nice work.

gil4 2017-08-05 17:11

A fun concept, haha. With graphics revamped this game could shine quite a lot more though. Enjoyed testing it, thanks and good job!

maesen 2017-08-05 21:04

A nice experience. There were a fair few clarity issues with the flow, and the game didn't feel very alive, though it may have been sacrificed for the theme of the game, but I found everything else about it really well done. Props.

I would like to play the linux version but it seems broken, could you fix it?

jason200101 2017-08-06 13:54

Great game! The puzzles were nice, the story behind it was cool, the difficulty curve was fair, and I enjoyed playing it!

You should continue making it, making more levels! It's an awsome idea that just needs some more containt!

librorumque64 2017-08-06 14:00

I knew I must play this as soon as I saw the title. Wonderful concept and execution, great job on those field effects. I don't mind graphics being simple, however next time I'd suggest not using RGB pure blue with black, it's too dark.

By the way, Linux build doesn't use bundled .so's, and I was somewhat confused by .exe extension.

doomshmuck 2017-08-06 14:07

This game was really innovative and mostly well executed. The fun factor of the game wasn't all that high for me, and I didn't see how this related to the theme in any way, shape, or form.

On the fun part, it felt like I was just slightly adjusting the angle that I was launching at, and hoping for the best, which isn't really very good puzzle design. I'm not really sure how you could fix it, perhaps have a ghost line that shows where your last launch took you? I think my main complaint with this was the second to last level (the two magnetic pieces that make a sine wave).

The last level's solution was pretty cool to watch though.

excitemike 2017-08-06 14:25

This was really fun! Could definitely be expanded into a cool puzzle game! Seeing a trail of the path previous shots took would be a really cool convenience feature to add.

vodzik 2017-08-06 14:30

Nice game :D It was fun to play :) But it is not clear which way magnetic field will will redirect particle. I think areas which push right and left should be different.

afroant 2017-08-06 14:46

Fun little game! I liked how the mechanics were taught in-game a little at a time, and that losing had no consequences. Music and a sound effect would've worked wonders.

The last level was a cool way to end the game (via particle acceleration). Wish there were more levels!

silkworm-sweatshop 2017-08-06 15:15

This was great! A good amount of levels but I still wanted to keep playing by the end. It's kinda like particle miniature golf :D.

naarakah 2017-08-06 19:14

The linux version should be fixed too now. Thanks for all the comments, maybe I will make more level and improve the game.

Hi! Seems something is up with your server. I can't download your game due to the following error:

naarakah.fr took too long to respond.

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I understand the appeal of having your game up on your personal server but you may want to also host it on Google Drive, Itch.io or Dropbox just in case something happens to your server again.

Hopefully you can do this and/or get your server fixed soon - sounds like the people who were able to download it liked it a lot! I'll be back to playtest this in a couple days.

besslaaneshi 2017-08-08 07:28

all good on my win10-64. Pretty nice game. Need sound and music. And more levels :D Good job!

yuigoto 2017-08-09 03:55

The game's really nice, and the concept is really well-thought, though I don't feel that it's quite on the theme (or, at least, I didn't quite get the theme in it). Gameplay-wise, the game's really accessible and easy to play, and the particle effects look really nice and easy to follow, it's nice to put a progressive learning experience, like you did there, so congrats on that! ;)

The only thing I do feel is lacking, for real, is sound. The game's nice to play, but without sound it feels...a bit plain, so if you plan on making this into a full game later on, consider sounds, specially for atmosphere. ;)

Good luck there, Good work! ;)

toonteamj 2017-08-09 14:30

The game is fun, but it could use a little audio. Also, dark blue doesn't show up well on black. I would suggest recoloring the fields in neon.

toccio94 2017-08-13 08:23

Nice game, i loved the particle effect of the various fields!
