10/10 anatomically correct as advertised!!
This was quite a funny one. It took me a couple tries to figure out how it worked, but when I did it ramped up quick. I found the optimal strategy to pretty much just spam brains, but it was still really cool with some great art. Awesome job!
Doesnt work in firefox for me, chrome works fine, this game is very interesting, artstyle reminds me of early indie games, the gameplay is tower defense but on the fly, feels kind of genreless, quite innovative.
Unfortunately the 'click under the head' on the tubes didn't work for me on Chrome. I like the switching on the anatomy
We both did digestive tract games... and both used squash and stretch a lot;) Took me a bit to understand the game, once i determined the importance of brains, I started placing away.. Is there a way to reset the game after it is game over? I kept refreshing the page. Is it beneficial to wind the tract about, or is it better to straight shot and spam brains? it would be nice to have hotkeys for the buttons 1,2,3 mapped to tubes, lungs, brains. Overall great job, was fun playing.
How do you increase the number of cells? I can't play more games because I can't increase it.
I knew how to play a game. It's an exciting defensive game. It's hard but fun. I understand the brain is attacking. But I want to know why lung ability is moving slowly.
Great idea, good submission! It was a bit hard to understand, but it was pretty fun after that. Congrats!
Very funny idea, and it was also very well executed!! congratulations! It would have been nice to have a retry button :) really enjoyed it.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Sorry for the delay in replying
@beats Sorry to hear that :disappointed: I'm having trouble replicating the issue you described, any chance you could share your OS and Firefox version to help me debug the issue (if you don't mind).
@acuriosity Cool to see other digestive tract games! Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
@gamefive It sounds like you figured it out, but for anyone else, you need to "digest" the grapes to get more stem cells (ie. place brains down which shoot at the grapes).
@wanderix Definitely wish I had more time to get in a retry button, seems to be a common complaint.
This is a funny game. Like the freedom of drawing an intestine and the clean artwork.
It took me some time to realized that this game is tower defense, but I really enjoyed playing this game.
What even is this? I love this so much, I can't stop laughing
Okay, well, if you want a real review, the controls could use a bit of work (it was hard to figure out how to place all the things, and the way the camera works is extremely awkward)
But then again... the janky controls didn't really impact my enjoyment of this. Like, every stage of coming to understand how this game worked made me laugh even more — from the goofy "Oh no i do not feel well" text that you're sure to get instantly, to the sheer number of brains you have to place, to the massive height of the human, to the toilet at the bottom... and then of course the "thank you i am relieved" once you finally figure it out. That was like... well, it was an emotional journey hahaha
10/10 would make anatomically correct human again
It was hard to start, but once I figured it out the rest was easy. Some funny noises could improve this game.
+for anatomicall correctness :P
Best anatomically accurate tower defense game out there!
I liked the core mechanic though it wasn't exactly new, it was fun to try and figure it out and after a few retries I finally got it!
I wish the challenge curve would've been a bit more uniform though, as I felt that as soon as I got the hang of it I didn't really need to build any more brains or lungs and could just sprint to the toilet.
Nonetheless, solid entry, good luck!
Besides selecting the buttons tube, brain and lungs, I couldn't figure out the other interactions. I'm playing on a Win10 and I'm using Chrome Version 90.0.4430.212.
Besides that, I love the quirky art style and the idea! Did anyone record the gameplay of your game, I'd love to see it! And I'm downloading another browser to try it out!
**Edit**: I'm sorry. It's me, not you. I somewhat figured it out. The problem was that I oversaw the giant "OH NO, I do not feel well" and I didn't get that this means "Game Over". I still don't get how to add tubes, but I will figure out this one as well...
I think the best aspect of this game is the surreal anatomy. It is pretty funny to see a game about constructing a digestive tract using brains and lungs... it is quite interesting how it severs organs from their actual function and repurposes them as arbitrary chosen game mechanics. It reminds me of some vague philosophical concept or another but I can't quite remember what... either way, it is a good way to completely change the meaning of the human anatomy.
