Cool concept, really liked it. I think it will be great to have some segments with 5 levels and checkpoints between those segments. Without checkpoints it's really frustrating. Especially with space bar feature. It's really good feature, but I saw it only after some time. So I stuck on the fourth level.
Nice game

Great game - I really enjoyed playing. I eventually beat it (in under 1 minute!). I liked that you could press and hold rather than spam clicking. The intro screen as part of the game worked very well.

Nice one! Would have been good to have at least one shot shield or something, because if you mess up, you're out very quickly :D like the laser (?) when the time was over.
Really nicely done with the integrated tutorial on the first page. Took me some time to realise the game already started :) Wasnt able to finish it though, kept dying, so maybe make it a little easier?

Cool! I really enjoyed. Works pretty good. I didn't notice "the nice surprise" on the first screen and somehow i was not killed when timer ended. But after i figured out how it works it works very good for me. Fast paced and addictive. You really want to start once again after each kill.
Nice concept! Could maybe have been more levels with more additional enemy types:) Managed to beat it without using the sliding mechanic though so it would be good to have some level that forces you to use it (narrow corridor for example).

I like it! Simple and effective, the controls are a little floaty but otherwise are fine. I also really liked the in world text. One issue I found was that if you are in the exit doors before they open then you don't go through them. Other then that cool game!
Great idea for the tutorial/level/screen :)

This is incredibly addictive, I haven't managed to beat it but good and easy to use controls.

I love the tutorial/intro screen idea, but I did pause and wonder when the game would start for a bit. Maybe a flashing area to go to next area would be nice.
This is really fun! Sounds would have made it even better, but this is a solid game. I like that it is not random, you can learn the rooms.

Good gameplay and I love the animation of the main character, would love to see a full version with sounds and feedbacks!

It gets hard fast! As some others have said, making the "main menu" also be a level was a very clever twist. Well done!

This is fun! Loved the intro level, I was suprised it wasn't just an image. It gets hard really fast, I guess you could have added a couple of easier filler levels to smooth out the difficulty spike. Wish it had sound and more levels, nice job!

That was hard, but once I figured out the sliding it became much easier. It was a lot of fun though, nice job!
Also, I noticed that you can survive forever on the final screen by just repeatedly running into the open door and resetting the timer lol
The controls work well, and thanks to the handy tutorial I could made it on the first try :v:

Movement is not working for me for some reason. Like the immersive tutorial

Awesome tutorial, loved it! Otherwise this is a pretty interesting take on the theme! Very challenging, but that's part of the fun!

Fun (and tough) game. The interactive tutorial was a nice touch to quickly learn the ropes. The difficulty spike was pronounced, though since the game is so short, it encourages mastery of the mechanics - for a longer game, checkpoints would probably have been a must.
As an arcade game, a bit of sound and perhaps some music would have boosted the mood, but that's always the trade-off for game jams XD Though for simple arcade sound effects, a tool like bfxr can be used to generate viable sound-effects in a few minutes.
A small quirk I discovered was when maximizing the game. Then the controls stopped responding until firing at least once.
All in all, it was a solid and challenging entry.
