With a cool vibe and graphical design, it's quite a suspenseful and interesting game. The balloon mechanic is quite nice and I really like the graphical indicators of the time running out on the edges of the screen.

Wow, there are so many great things about this game! First, hooray, Godot! I love the catchy music. Nice party vibe. Great decorations that constantly change the look and feel of the level. Very nice pixel art and animations. So many extra particle effects all over the place! Don't let anyone tell you this has too many hidden rooms. This is the perfect number of hidden rooms. All other games are seriously lacking. I didn't find a guest though! Oh nooooooo! I may have to replay.

Also, as soon as they announced the them, I thought, "Aw crap, this is going to be the most depressing collection of games I've ever seen. All about trying to scrap-together the last moments of your life before you kick the bucket...". So, thanks for such an up-beat entry!

I did get stuck inside the walls a couple times, but it's great that I'll just get reset anyway.

Also, I just noticed that you also use Aseprite and Pixel FX Designer, both of which I also love using.

@ukulelefury glad you liked it! Thanks for the heads up about getting stuck in the walls. I've uploaded a new version that might reduce how often that happens :fingers_crossed: Did you fall through a floor or jump through a ceiling or punch through a wall? It didn't happen very often during development, I'm surprised you manged to pull it off multiple times :cold_sweat:

ukulelefury 2022-04-19 23:06

@markopolodev I think it only happened twice! I _think_ I was traveling diagonally upward into a wall-meets-ceiling corner both times? They were at different spots. I don't remember if I was punching.

@ukulelefury okay, the change I made should prevent that  thanks for the qa help!

Wow what a game! This was fun playing and very nice to have it working with controller. I somehow managed not to invite anyone to the party, but it was a superb party to have all to myself.

The character was really cool and the game very nice graphically. It was a bit hard to precisely double jump with them though and landing on small blocks, but there were plenty of coin-balloons around so I wasn't too disturbed by it.

In the store it was a bit odd that it wasn't possible to navigate over the things I had bought in a straight line and it took me a while to notice that music on the second row was really inexpensive. I just assumed because first row was increasing in cost that there was no point looking on the second row until much later. And that's a bit of a pity, because of how much cooler the game gets once that is bought.

Great work in general.

That was very impressive! The tutorial and mechanics were very slick, and it the gameplay was seamless, if a little dull after a while. The sound effects are nice, and I liked the animation of the main character, their over-the-top leg wheeling was amusing :)

Awesome game, kept my attention all till the end, I just missed one guest, poor guy Loved the particles, art and the musics, you did a great job, the only thing that bothered me was the camera, it follows so fast, It's really annoying when you're climbing the platforms, but overrall, I liked a lot, nice job :D

Fantastic! It started off looking like it was going to be kind of bland, but I quickly fell in love with the concept. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be an obvious "end game", but I bought all of the upgrades, talked to all of the guests (I think) and found the secret party in space.

Awesome job!

The animation of the main character is fantastic, as well as the poses in general. I loved the way the decorations changed the look and sound of the environment. The special effects, the attacks, the way the coins bounce and get pulled in when you have the power-up, the way the character moves so fluidly were all well done.

I enjoyed exploring the world, and I remember when I got surprised that there were two areas to buy party supplies, as I originally thought I found a shortcut to the one. It was also fun to find secret areas. I want to think more about the repercussions of making something like secret areas so ubiquitous instead of rare in a game.

I was delighted that the game didn't end when you ran out of time. It just pulled you back to the home base. Then I realized that I didn't need to return on my own, so I was able to explore more fully.

I managed to get all the guests, piggy banks, and hourglasses, and then I was wondering what I was supposed to do. I thought maybe I had to be at the other home base, then I decided to try climbing up to the giant disco ball again. Last time I jumped all the way to the far right and nothing was there. This time, the character hovered in the air for a bit before dropping. Weird. So I jumped, and suddenly I was launched up and found the sky party to end the game. It was an accident that I found it, and I only decided to pursue it because I saw someone had an ending here.

By the way, for such a well-executed game, it is a shame I can't give you any ratings.

Such a nice game! I really like the "secret" areas on the map and vibe of your game. Very nice detail at the end (when your party time goes UP). Level design is cool. Constantly changing world great feature!

This is really fun game, jumping controls got a bit finicky sometimes (usually when the timer was about to run out), but I made it to the big party in the sky with 7/9 hourglasses, 3/5 pigs (?) and 8/8 guests.

Love the pixel art graphics and retro colour scheme; catchy music and nice sound FX. Gameplay was engaging. I really enjoyed playing this. Well done!

Awesome game! Really snappy movement, great sense of progression with each upgrade allowing you to go noticeable further compared to previously. At first I thought that you had to be back to the party or else you would loose, but after 'dying' once and realizing that you didn't loose any progress I could explore during the whole time. My only two nitpicks would be that the camera sometimes moved a bit fast, especially when jumping back and forth between platforms. And sometimes if you moved far away (which you got quite far when spam-attacking (very nice hint btw) and having upgraded movement) and then the animation for moving you back to the party-tent would last a 'very' (in the context of this being a fast game) long time. Nice music also btw

this is a good game you can develop it and need to share it for many users to know, i like your graphics, also i am a game maker so i am ready to share [run 3](https://run3.onl) game to you and everyone join in and contribute ideas, okay

I don't know why I can't send you ratings. This game is awesome. And it ends like a professional game. Really liked it! Even though the fire and the interact keys are too close on the keyboard, I got used to it after 2-3 rounds. The tutorial was as short as possible, but was still useful. A great job man!

osh-studio 2022-10-03 11:06

Really well polished game! Bursting the balloons was super satisfying as the audio was overall very good, a little bit frustrating chasing after coins but I still gotta get them all. The particle effects were seriously amazing, the fire and timer were too cool, fantastic submission.
