Looking through documents and digging up whatever information you can reminds me of playing Analogue: A Hate Story. This game does a great job at creating an intriguing atmosphere, and the amount of content in it is incredibly impressive.
A game where you play as a brain trying to stave off bad ideas in search of "Geniusness" - surely a relatable concept for many. The difficulty picks up quickly, and many of the thoughts resulting from 'bad idea' combinations are pretty humorous. An interesting game!
An unexpected, but effective combination! The punch-out mechanics are faithful, and the visual novel segments make for a funny backstory.
I laughed pretty hard at the intro alone. Gameplay is simple but endearing, and I love the little gameplay considerations (picking up gold with your sword, the UI fading as you go behind it). Definitely could play this for a good while.
Very nice presentation and atmosphere! The controls and obstacle patterns takes some getting used to, but you get the hang of it after a while.
Trying to keep your breathing in sync while hitting the timings for the tasks proves to be an interesting challenge.. I had to practice breathing without the tasks for a while before I could get through them all. An interesting concept with a humorous consequence!
Very interesting. I hadn't even considered command line games for Ludum Dare submissions before this, but this plays excellently. It has a SHENZHEN I/O-kinda vibe to it, and some intriguing challenges.
