I thought it was a great idea to merge a point and click adventure with a countdown timer. The concept opens up some possibilities.
As we both know, 48 hours just isn't enough time
Overall great work!

I liked the game idea, even though the execution was a bit rough.
It's really cool game, the go to main menu button mislead me into thinking it's just one scene, i think you could change up the default unity buttons to some simple sprites, so it's consistant with the ones in game, the simple line art looks pretty nice, and consistant, if you would be going to update this idea, instead of just searching taking time, maybe you could do mini games, it would make the timer way more fitting
First of all, thank you very much for playing my game!
@kevin-s Yeah 48 hours is pretty tough, and it didn't help that I almost gave up the competition on saturday! I'm glad you liked the concept of the game, thank you for your kind words :)
@jani-nykanen I love how you phrased that :D Snoopin Around is definitly more a prototype than an actual game in its current state, so I'm happy you liked the idea at least!
@noeloskar Thank you so much for all your suggestions! I totally agree with you on the buttons, changing them would have improve the style of the game without costing me too much time, I wish I have thought of that on sunday evening... I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the Go to main menu button? But to be fair I didn't spend a very long time on that part of the UI, so it makes sense that it's confusing. I really want to keep working on that game, and adding some mini games seems like a great idea! I will think about what kind of actions I can add to it.
Not much here, but seems like it could be a foundation from which to build a puzzle type game with multiple locations and items you have to go back and forth between.
@onedozenbagels Thank you for playing my game! Sure, it looks more like a prototype than an actual game, but as you said I think it has all the basic elements to become something more. Feedback like yours are convincing me that I was right, so thank you for that!
I'd have to agree with the above commenters that this truly can be a part of something bigger. I personally just found myself speed-clicking through every possible object and applying items logically. Great title though :eyes:
L'idée est très cool. Le jeu a tout pour avoir une histoire plus longue. Le temps pourrait être plus long. Cela donne un peu de désespoir à peine 30 secondes. J'aimerais beaucoup vous féliciter d'avoir joué à un jeu par vous-même. Je dois avoir le courage de le faire un jour.
Toutes nos félicitations!
Thank you both of you for playing my game!
@loyance Yeah I didn't protect the game correctly, it's pretty easy to just spam everything to get what you want lol. I need to improve that on the next version! I'm really happy that you think the game has potential, and that you liked my title :)
@euler-moises Merci beaucoup ! I hope I can make a longer game in the future. Ah I see, it's true that 30 seconds is pretty short, I will keep that in mind for my future build! Creating a game by yourself is really challenging but sooo satisfaying at the same time, you should definitly give it a try ;) And thank you for translating your comment to French, it's really appreciated!
I like the idea of a point-n-click adventure where you have limited time to act, gave the game a sense of urgency that is not common in the genre!
I hope you keep working on the game, would gladly play it again once it has more content. Great job! :trophy:
I like the timing idea, maybe give some choicse to the player, like searching the bag or the trash, in order to make it more intense?
That was fun! I think having the super short time limit really makes it exciting. Something I would suggest is to add details like real names and locations to draw me into the story more. Nice job!
Great job! I really liked the short time limit, making it feel frantic trying to find out info as fast as possible! It was cool finding keys and passwords and going through everything. Some SFX would help out a lot too but overall nice job!
Thank you so much for playing my game!
@pijamar I'm glad you liked the concept of the game, thank you so much for your kind words! I will definitly keep working on it and post some update on the Ludum Dare website, so stay tuned!
@yetanother Thank you for your suggestion, I didn't think about it but it could really add a lot of depth to the game!
@madbarron I'm glad you liked the timer idea! And you're right, having some names would definitly improve the story. I guess I just didn't have time to think about something clever, haha. Thank you very much!
@ryan-dotsikas I'm so glad you liked the key/password mechanism, I added it so late in the game development, lol. And I totally agree with you, the game definitly needs some SFX and music, I just ran out of time! I will think about it for the next version. Thank you so much for your feedback!
Hehehe so simple, yet had me frazzled for a moment. Nice work.
Quite simple, the puzzles worked, the ticking clock mechanic was fun. It's a nice touch that the solution changes when you screw it up and retry.
The graphics have a bit of an MS Paint thing going on, but I could tell what everything was, so that wasn't really a problem.
Engaging for the ~90 seconds it took to beat, but on the other hand, it only took ~90 seconds to beat.

I like the unique gameplay here! It was surprisingly stressful despite being so simple. I can totally see this being expanded with some more depth in the future.
Nice entry! I love point and click games so this was a nice surprise :)
Thank you so much for playing my game, I'm so sorry I didn't have time to rate yours! I will still play them later in the evening and leave a comment though.
@kram Haha thank you very much!
@chris-delta Yeah the game is super short in its current state, I'm planning on adding more levels (and maybe more investigations) in the final version. I'm glad it kept you entertained and that the graphics were readable. Thank you for your feedback!
@coleslaughter Oh my, it was my first time actually seeing someone play my game outside of my relatives, it was kind of stressful :D I'm happy the silly eyes drew your attention, haha! I completly understand that having actual different rooms would have helped. I chose to focus on gameplay because I ran out of time, but I will definitly include that part of the developpement in the final version. Thank you guys for your feedback!
@arvejeitor Thank you so much!
