Cool idea, BTW I liked the godot pixel art intro :)

Amazing concept! I like the music and the art too! Would love to see some game with this concept but bigger.

bek 2020-10-06 02:53

it is quite challenging and i like it. btw controls are bit hard )

viut 2020-10-06 02:55

This was really interesting, I kinda wish the harder levels would always give you a good gun though:( great game nonetheless :D

Great game! very funny and good to play. the bullets and corridors could be bigger, but i still had a loot of fun !

That was cool, vengeance is hard to get indeed. Great job on the procedurallity, the minimalist graphics and audio work well and have a nice arcade feel... If you feel like spending extra time on it later it could definitely grow. Very funny take on the theme too. I'll never forgive Enrique for killing Jesus.

Haha! I enjoyed this. Very clever concept. Stuck in the loop of revenge - just like real life?! Love the arcade feel too. Well done!

It’s taking a while for me to load it, so maybe you could optimize it more. I REALLY LIKED THE GAMEPLAY THOUGH! It was fun, had a lot of replay-ability, and a good level of difficulty. I like how it stuck with the theme of stuck in a loop without being repetitive, as there are different weapons and levels

thunderkerrigan 2020-10-07 16:54

interesting takes on the theme.

schizoid2k 2020-10-07 17:33

Cool, classic type top-down. I played a few rounds and noticed the different types of weapon patterns, which I thought was clever.

blaiserascal 2020-10-08 02:06

This was fun! I especially loved the procedurally-generated reason for your revenge; that was an awesome detail.

If I were to be a little critical, it would be about the procedural map generation mechanic. While it works fine, there's not a lot of difference between different levels, making me wonder why procedural generation is necessary. But maybe that's just my anti-procedural-generation bias, haha.

Keep up the good work!

Really cool game, i love the idea " if hotline miami was created on the Atari"

sophiablabla 2020-10-08 23:23

Really cool idea! Enjoyed the retro graphics and music. I like that the levels are random! Little considerations like that keep the game interesting and fresh while playing! Great work :D

flazone 2020-10-09 09:40

Pretty fun  Randomly generated levels are a good fit for the theme.

I would have liked to be able to upgrade my gun over the levels, sometimes I started with a very weak weapon and sometimes with a much stronger one.

Music is really cool too!

rainbows-are-fun 2020-10-10 07:11

Fun little game, well done

ditam 2020-10-18 19:16

Cute little game, well done! The random name and profession generations were a nice touch, and really made an otherwise simple concept (ie. shooter with randomly generated levels) connect very well to the jam theme.

aurel 2020-10-27 06:18

I think my favorite thing was not knowing which kind of weapon I'd get next. I like that there was variance in both weapon speed and shooting type. The music felt like it fit really well into the game.
