I love this take on tower defense. You have to build towers for the "enemy" in order to win the game. Very well polished.

I love this game. It sort of redefines the goal of a pachinko machine. There's something very satisfying about the way the money counter goes up with all the balls bouncing everywhere. Art style is great, especially how you can upgrade them with trails and new textures. Great game!
I enjoyed this game a lot. The simple, yet well executed art style is visually pleasing, and the game mechanics are a very interesting take on scrabble. The punishments for small mistakes is a bit much, but I see that you've already responded to that issue elsewhere. Great game!
Nice comedic game! I could see this doing well on a mobile store if it were polished up a little bit. In the WebGL version there seems to be a bug where the esc key causes the game to crash.
I enjoyed this game, has a feel much like Little Alchemy, but you need the sectors to produce elements to be able to use them. Something that might help the game is having a counter that shows discovered elements, as I didn't know how much there was left to discover.
This is probably the most polished game I've seen in this jam. The style is great, the puzzles of defeating the ships were well executed, and level design is beautiful. As @morrilet said, shooting grounded enemies was a pretty big struggle, but other than that the game felt absolutely amazing.
Very nice game, I liked the puzzles, they weren't too hard, but still took a couple of attempts to figure out the mechanics. The graphics are great. I did have a bit of trouble with the part where you have to drop down onto the conveyor belts, as the green belts are kind of hard to see against the background. The music was amazing and audio really fit with the game's feel.
Thanks for the reviews guys!
@frozen-spirit I've received a few comments saying that the spawn rate is a bit slow and I tend to agree. As the spawn rate increase over time had already been implemented in the game before submission, I'll tweak the ramp-up rate a bit.
@entirelybees I think that might be a feature that I might have been a bit vague in presenting, the "stun duration" of the weapon. The fish weapon has a high stun, and the grip tape and battery upgrades increase the stun of your weapon. Ideally I would have a stun animation, but as this wasn't implemented prior, I can't really change it.
Thanks for the detailed feedback @falu! I've fixed the menu text so it behaves properly on a window resize, and added some superficial text so that it's more obviously a menu.
I'll continue developing this game, but it will be under a different channel on the game's itch.io page (html-postjam).
Great game! My main issue is with how the controls interact with the platforming. I think that either the platforms should be designed so that the player can jump upward through them, or the player should lose their y velocity when they hit the platform. Fighting was a bit difficult, as I often felt that I had to be hit in order to hit, but I understand that might just be down to experience with the game. Maybe a little bit higher knockback? Other than that, the progression felt great and I liked the way the graphics started upgrading.
Nice game, I like the puzzles and the music. I think this game could have benefited from the use of a tile-sprite system, as some of the elements didn't really line up properly. Mechanics wise, I loved it! It only took a couple of deaths to figure out the mechanics and adapt play style accordingly. Great game!
This game is pretty good! A few quality of life changes I would make are:
- I found that in order to attack, you had to double click. I'm not sure if that's a bug on my end or in the game, but it's probably worth looking into (edit: just saw the note in the original post) - the attack animation shouldn't deal damage after the "swing" portion - dodge-rolling negates damage (though this would affect game balance) - after you burn down the vines, they should probably not grow back after every death, or have a faster burning animation - there were a few misaligned game objects like the torch vs the flame of the torch - the red crystal launchy thing's projectiles could use a bit more visibility (maybe a light source from each crystal) - maybe have a raycast to detect if there is a piece of terrain between the player and the camera, and if so, reduce its opacity
I really did like how the puzzles were laid out. They were difficult, but achievable. The level design and atmosphere were great, and I could clearly tell where the next objective would be. Although you didn't make the artwork, you did choose a very nice style for the game and stuck with it, producing a beautiful atmosphere. Overall, considering the short amount of time I think you did an excellent job.
Very impressive, and the small amount of experience I have with networking a videogame makes this even moreso.
Cool game! There are a few areas that could be improved, like walking into the wind is pretty difficult and sometimes puts your shield away. Some elements of the game could be introduced a bit more gently, such as wall-jumping with the shield. Also a fixed jump height might be better for this kind of game, but that one's just my opinion.
On a lighter note, this is one of my favourite games this jam!
Nice game! Fun platformer and very cute art.
Amazing game! got some Nitrome vibes
Nice game! I like the multitasking. I think the controls for M.O.M could be tightened up a bit, but other than that, great game!
Very cute, I like the panda animations. It could probably be a bit more fun if the player had some more agency and interaction with the panda.
A very strong game in the atmospheric aspect. Managed to properly get my heart rate up.
I love the art style and the interpretation of the theme!
I really liked this game. It's impressive how you were able to convey so much emotion in the short timespan
I think you've got a good toy here! With a bit more time, I'm sure you could have polished it up a bit and turned it into a cool little puzzle.
Nice work, I like how snappy the movement is
