The mechanic is quite interesting, I've never seen a puzzler feel so much like a tile laying board game. Over all very cute!
I didn’t read the description or watch the video before playing and was throughly confused when I was killed by the worm I was going to eat! I enjoyed frog animation and movement, it’s very playful. Over all, great execution!
I like the idea for sure. I think giving the player time to adjust/ ramping the difficulty might be nice. Giving the asteroids more visibility, via a different color, a partial effect or simply making them larger could be helpful. Over all nice work!
well done! i love the color palette it really enhances the mood. Also the amount of art is impressive, going indoors for the buildings was really cool and the transparency to see out side, was unexpected and awesome! The story is funny and engaging, and is elevated via the voice acting. I will say that the direction in the beginning where a bit off from what I expected for the game play, I didn't intuitively understand that their would be a wait time associated with interaction (ie. picking up bodies, going in doors or up staircases ect.) Also the decay miter in green also through me off, a full green bar typically means good not you're about to loose this asset (so maybe flipping the green and red bars might be nice?) Overall though top-notch!
Quite comical, gives me some hard core 90's cartoon vibes!
Nice platforming level! As most people have said the art style gives it a nice mood, and the level layout is accessible and interesting. There are some pretty easy fixes that could help make the game feel more polished: the timing of the sounds (such as the explosion), making the invisible walls visible/un-traversable objects, and having a little more visual distinction for some of the areas (for me the pits that causes what could be a death, idk?, if there was say a gradient darkness coming from the bottom that could be a visual cue that falling down this pit wont take you to a new part of the level like some of the other leaps of faith did before)
Great game, the music for me is spot on! The graphics too are quite lovely. I also had issues with some of the clicking for the traps and the bubbles. Also it may have been my device, but the aspect ratio was very long, and the text for how to play was so small I couldn’t read it easily.
The sound on this is so very nice. That plus the art really gives the game a good feel! With this being said, I didn't really understand the game play. And reading the how to play in the game at the size it was in the browser was very difficult, you may want to increase the font size, or go for something with a similar feel, but is a little more legible
This is hilarious, I don't entirely get it cuz the fire seems to grow even if the vents are pointed away from it, but it is fantastic non the less!
