Loved the graphics and the sound effects. The game was very consistent throughout!
Very clean design, I could definitely see this as a successful mobile puzzle game :) I think 8 levels was plenty for the time given and it gave a good taste of the game!
Glad to see you guys released the game! I saw you were having a few issues over the weekend but it's good that you pushed through!
Love the low poly models! Also I really like the concept that it's based off the classic riddle. Very unique and great submission overall :)
I actually had the same idea for a game! Glad to see I was not the only one :) It turned out really well for you!
This is a great platformer! The mechanics felt very well implemented.
Two things I think could be improved on is adding the controls/instructions inside the game, I know you have them in the post but it would be nice in there as well. Also I think the momentum could be decreased a little as it made some of the movements a little bit sluggish, unless that was the intention then never mind this :)
This was a very unique way to approach the theme! I think the visuals and the music fit really well together and made it feel like an arcade game. One thing I think could be improved on is the player movement, it didn't feel very much like an actual plane, maybe if it was constantly moving forward and you could steer it it might have been more fluid!
Hilarious take on the theme!
I liked the music and art! Did you draw it on paper or with some kind of software? My one issue with it is that the direction was not very clear.
This is absolutely insane coming from just one person in Compo too! This would make for a really fun and successful mobile puzzle game I'm sure! This is the most polished game I've played so far!
The controls, visuals, UI, and sounds all worked really well together and made for a fun experience! One thing that I didn't like as much was the cursor placement when you're going forward, it was right on the nose of the ship, I would have liked it a little higher. Another thing was the delay of the mouse movement to ship rotation was a little slow for my taste!
The graphics are really well done and all the UI fits in as well!
Loved the audio, I could definitely see this as an IO game! Also you and I had a very similar take on the theme :)
The audio, visuals, and overall theme are really, really well done!
A few things that were off for me were the juxtaposition between the super high detail game assets vs the simplistic UI elements, I think upgrading the icons and the UI would bring it all together! It was also not very clear how to progress throughout the game, so maybe a bit more UI to show the player what to do!
Overall really well done submission :)
Oh also in your submission here it says Windows link, but inside there is a mac download as well, so make sure to say that so more people can enjoy this game!
Music and art was great! The game play was interesting as well, one thing I'd suggest is to increase the time on the first level and maybe make it more difficult later on? I spent a bit of time figuring out the game and it suddenly ended on me but I got it eventually!
The game play felt great and I loved all the models and animations! One thing I would have liked is to be able to skip the dialogue at the beginning. Having to listen to it again after you die can be a little annoying.
Graphics and audio is amazing! Very consistent throughout, even on the download site. I laughed when he said "wow rude" when I skipped him... Sorry!
Very unique interpretation on the theme, and I think it was well executed! I have a few suggestions tho, one being that the rotation of the camera didn't feel natural. Also it was great that everything had noise, it added to the atmosphere but some of it was way louder than other!
Really well done graphics wise and game play wise! It felt really polished from start to end :)
Loved the UI and art! One thing I would suggest is to add the buttons inside the game somewhere and add some kind of feedback on button press.
Loved the music! I was having a little trouble with the interaction of my cards (or maybe I didn't understand them, I admit I skimmed a little)
The link does indeed work now! Just in case @TomekS doesn't see the notification :) I loved the effects and music! It was a little confusing at first and I had to watch the video, so I'd suggest a how to play screen! But I'm sure you'd add that if there was more time!
Great graphics and the game play felt polished! :)
Very well done graphics, music and dialogue! It created a great atmosphere. My only criticism is that the game play is kind of shallow, but the story makes up for it!. I've never been a fan of clicker type games tho, they hurt my wrist after a bit.
Loved the art style and the overall idea. Wish there was a bit more UI for each unit to detail how much each recruitment takes, and how their attack/defence works!
So the game is runnable and I downloaded and tried it out and I have to say I love the art style and the music, it is very consistent (except for the UI). Only issue is I'm not sure how to play the game as there are no instructions. Could you edit your post and maybe give a quick description about what keys do what? I tried pressing so many and none of them seemed to do anything for me :) Thanks! I usually love TD games so a nice looking TD game would be right up my alley!
Loved the music and game play. The game felt very polished, from the art work, to the fonts used, to the menus!
Great interpretation of the theme! The game play and attacking felt great. I think some sounds are too loud tho, maybe they need to be balanced out, and at one point the audio just glitched out! Thought I'd let you know :)
Loved the audio and the visuals! Would be nice to have the controls listed somewhere tho :)
The art style is amazing, and the meta take on the theme is hilarious! I found a texture/shader bug on the second level if you go up and to the left (on the web version), thought you should know!
Great audio overall! The graphics and game play felt very consistent and made a lot of sense. One very very small typo is on the main screen you say "Move around with WASP" instead of WASD, but you say WASD everywhere else :) Just thought you should know!
The graphics and effects felt very polished! I thought the game was a little too hard at the beginning right as I was learning, but I think that's just a me thing :)
Loved the sound and sprites! One small thing that I think you guys should fix is remove the duplicate EXE in the windows build. Not a big deal, it's just a little confusing at first
Loved the music and art! Also the idea is very unique haha
The visuals and environment are amazing overall, from the grass moving, to the wind turbines in the distance, to the enemy bullets that light up the environment!
Some things that I didn't like as much was the slow aim down sight, it made it feel not very responsive. Another thing that I think could be improved on is the UI, having tree health, time alive, number of bullets would make for an easier to understand game. :)
Loved the idea! I think the music was too loud and the controls were not intuitive tho!
Loved the graphics! Very consistent throughout :)
The art, music, and menus were really well done and were consistent throughout. One thing I'd like to see is make it a little more clear how to play the game and how it works. Also a few more levels would be fun as well!
Loved the art and sound effects, made for a great atmosphere!
Animation and audio/voice acting was very cute and well done!
Great take on the theme. Loved the art, as well as the player and guild names! :)
I loved the music, and I thought the story/game play was hilarious! I thought the fire died a little too fast, but that's just a me thing
Really unique take on the TD games! Loved the graphics. I actually had a nightmare about babies last night so this is giving me some flashbacks :P
Loved the meta take on the theme! At first the game seemed shallow but the story went a lot deeper after the first bit!
Loved the art, and music, and the unique take on the theme/fighting games!
I think this is the best graphics I've seen so far! Absolutely love the graphics/models/effects/shaders, and a great take on the theme as well :)
Love the visuals, music, and title! One thing I think that could be improved on is making the player movement a little more snappy and not as glidey, but that's just my oppinion!
Absolutely amazing visuals and music! Would be nice to have a way to sell/delete blocks tho, also a few more sound effects on collisions/building/spawning
Really unique take on the theme and I think it worked out really well! Loved the game play and voice acting. I also really liked that there was a tutorial level to explain the game play and key binds :)
Great level progression with the change of mechanics!
The art, music, and vibe all created a great and consistent atmosphere!
This game was pretty fun, I like how the fish just dies if you don't listen to it...
The music and art worked really well together! One thing that would have been nice is some instructions inside the game :)
The music worked really well with the theme! I also loved the art work and the game play. I liked the speed that the player moves at, often with these kind of games they move too slow and it can be a little annoying when the time is against you!
The graphics were absolutely on point! The music also fit in really well to bring it all together :)
Loved the graphics, really brought the theme together
I really liked the art and the music! I also really appreciated the little tutorial at the beginning of the game. I think the game follows the scene very well and is very unique.
It also made me realize that I didn't know what color combination makes yellow, so thanks for teaching me that today :)
@krebzor Thanks for the feedback! If you've been the web hosted version I think the issue you're talking about is the UI scaling, which was caused by an oversight on our part where we developed everything in 1920 x 1080. We will be pushing a fix out as soon as we have free time :) In the mean time I suggest trying out the mac/windows one, theres three times as many villagers that spawn and it adds to the madness!
Loved the music and the game play, but I think the game went a little too quick and it ended as I was figuring things out on the first level. Had to replay to get further, but maybe that's a game design decision!
Music, audio, and level progression were very well done! I saw one typo that I think you might want to know about tho, in the part about the aging tile you say "live it again" in the third part but I think you meant "leave" :)
Awesome take on the theme! The game play was smooth but the camera movement was a little jarring. Maybe a smooth increase in speed as the spirit leaves the body?
Great music and art! One minor thing that I'd like to suggest is make the rolling enemies not have their HP roll with them, instead stay static while they roll, but it's a very small thing!
I don't have any kind of VR so I won't be able to play and rate it :(. But I wanted to say that the graphics look really good and it makes it seem like it's super polished!
Haven't seen many horror games so far, but I think this worked well with the theme! It was very suspenseful :)
Loved the music! Also the double take on the word "keep" was great, I didn't even think of that!
Love the art, very well done there! I wish there was a way to attack up/downwards tho!
The graphics are very nice and this is a very unique puzzle game!
@technogoth it is not too late to push out a fix! As per the rules you can push out bugs (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules under the section "Additional Notes for both the Jam and Compo ").
As for the game I think that this is a good approach on the theme, but a tutorial level would have been really helpful. :)
I loved the graphics! And the game play was very simple to understand
The mechanics of the game felt really good and well thought out, which made for a smooth game play. A few things I'd recommend is adding a bit more in game UI to let the player know what they're doing, as well as a mini map.
Oh also one more thing. When you built the game you changed the name of the exe from 'GameJam' (The unity project name) to 'GameJam.exe'. This causes an error because the data folder will not match. The solution is to have the data and exe names match eg. 'RobotPlay.exe' and 'RobotPlay_Data'!

Small bug at the beginning where a white box was covering some of the objects and I couldn't read it.
Really cool way to approach the theme! Loved the graphics, animation, and audio, they all worked really well together. One thing I'd like to see is a little more UI to let the player know what they're doing, unless the player figuring it out is part of the mystery then this makes sense!
Great take on the theme! The UI, graphics, sound, and game play all work really well together to create a great atmosphere for the game!
The music, art, and overall setting of the game was great! One thing I think could be improved on is making the enemies stand out more, as well as the projectiles! :)
Great take on the theme, and the game felt nice and polished!
Really innovative approach to a puzzle game! One thing that bothered me a little was the rotation using K and L, it seemed backwards to me, but other than that very interesting!
Great audio and take on the theme! One suggestion I have is to slow the enemy down and give the player some health points, the first time I encountered the enemy gave me an abrupt end.
Loved the little intro scene, and the game play kept me hooked in for a bit after I figured out what to do :)
I don't have VR so I won't try it/rate it, but the music and models look very polished and set an interesting atmosphere! If I get a VR headset I'll make sure to check it out tho.
The art, music, and audio fit really well together. I liked the unique take on the theme as well, it's a very interesting concept!
I think this is a good interpretation of the theme, however I think that the lack of UI and information given to the player is really holding it back. I was never quite sure what to do in the engine room and my buttons/clicks didn't seem to have any effect! I think with a bit more UI it would make it a lot easier for player!
